I wanted to be objective when deciding where to have my cataract surgery, especially after comparing it to other clinics in town (including across the street and behind Dr. Peña's office). The service here was excellent -- far better than the others I've visited. I received my cataract surgery within just 10 days of my first appointment, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. I'm so pleased with the results and the care I received. I'm even scheduled to go back next week for my other eye because I trust them completely. My overall experience was truly top-notch!

We stayed in vehicle, called the number and I explained I was there with my father to check in. Amanda L. Then asked "whats your name?" I said my fathers name (he's the patient) and thats when she said in a louder and a very condescending tone said "what is YOUR name and phone number?" No "good afternoon, how can I help you?" I started to spell my name since its spelled different and she says "I KNOW HOW TO SPELL." After she took MY number and MY name, we went inside to pay (we are private pay). As soon as we entered, Amanda L, came out with the temperature without any greeting. As a healthcare worker myself, I know the importance of explaining procedures and instructions to patients. I had to explain to my father what she was going to do. She took our temperatures, told us to go in the restroom to wash our hands then she would see us. How do I know if she washed her hands before seeing us? I then gave her my debit card to pay and was told to wait outside. I understand, there is still COVID but this could have been handled way differently than she did. The whole waiting room is empty and patient's family, rides, caregivers are waiting outside in 98 degree temperatures while the workers are keeping cool inside.

I can't think of a better place to shop for glasses. The prescription alone is worth $55 anywhere else and here you get two glasses plus a prescription. I opted only for glasses since I used to wear contacts for years which dried up my eyes. I got lasik about four years ago and now I only need very little prescription. Another is huge, but packed with cheap, flimsy frames (and clerks that won't even acknowledge your presence). And then there is this store where the inventory, prices and service are just right! There is certainly something to be said about great service! Rebekah was very knowledgeable and was able to help me pick the most appropriate frame for my prescription. Their frames were stylish, yet sturdy, well-made and priced fairly. After discussing my options I settled on two pairs of progressives. This was my first time with bifocals and Rebekah was, again, just wonderful in explaining my options, providing helpful tips on how to use them, and assuring me that I could come right back in if I had any problems. She also explained the importance of precision in progressives so I was happy to see that they used digital measurement. I was so happy with my glasses that E. came here to get his prescription filled too. He had a pair of progressives that he got last year at another place and he never did get used to them so he had just set them aside. They were able to make him new lenses and now he is seeing just fine! After 5 months of blissful vision I fell asleep in my glasses and bent them beyond repair. Fortunately they said I had purchased insurance and so they replaced them for $20 with no hassle. They even had the frame in-stock so I was in and out in just a few minutes. You can bet that E. and I will return when it is time for new glasses!
