They basically can't process anything until you have your prescription which is understood but you should be able to browse comfortably and ask questions if you want. The second time I went in, I was browsing before an appointment and it was like she was off put that I was browsing before my appointment next door. I didn't even feel comfortable browsing. after my appointment, I went back and chose the glasses that I had seen. At that point she helped me , but but she was not friendly at all. I don't know if she didn't like me in particular or if she just doesn't like the job. Either way I will not be back.

It didn't feel right so I went back to have him re-evaluate my eyesight, and he changed my prescription again. That's fine. I understand that. But they charged me for the second time! Why charge me? I would not have gone back if they had given me the correct prescription the first time. Horrible customer service from ladies in the front. There are some instances where supporting local businesses is not a smart idea, and this is one of them. Take your time and money somewhere else.

They refuse to give us a prescription for contact lenses even after we've paid and tried the trial. They keep insisting that we need to go back when doctor is in. They never have what we need and they keep saying that they have to order them a trial. When they order trial lenses they "only order one" really? How stupid is that? They are the worst eye care center ever. Do not waste your time and your money. The only reason we went there was Bcz our regular doctor doesn't have appointments till two months from now. Stick to Thurmond eye associates in McAllen or Weslaco or Harlingen. The worst!
