Seriously...Texas State Optical deserves it…read more From the moment you call to make an appt, to when you walk in the door and are greeted by the staff...to when you finally put on that new pair of glasses you've been waiting for! TSO offers the best customer service experience possible and you get great glasses to boot. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by the staff and they checked me in. I only waited about 5 min before getting my eyes checked. Throughout the entire time, the young lady helping me was amazing. Extremely courteous... professional...and every other word that relates to customer service exemplified. I took in my old glasses so they already had an idea of my prescription. The doctor took me to the back for the eye exam and about 10 min later I was walking out. The staff then showed me which lenses I could pick from based off my insurance. After choosing the ones I liked, they said they should be ready in about 1 week. Well to my nice surprise they were ready for pickup the next day! When I went to pick them up they gave me the case with a spray and small towel to clean them with in a small bag with my name hand written on it. The devil is in the details but those little details win over customers. This feels like a fairly new optical... slightly small...but with it's amazing staff, great doctor, and top-of-the line customer service, it feels and is the best place to get your glasses.

They basically can't process anything until you have your prescription which is understood but you should be able to browse comfortably and ask questions if you want. The second time I went in, I was browsing before an appointment and it was like she was off put that I was browsing before my appointment next door. I didn't even feel comfortable browsing. after my appointment, I went back and chose the glasses that I had seen. At that point she helped me , but but she was not friendly at all. I don't know if she didn't like me in particular or if she just doesn't like the job. Either way I will not be back.

I really liked the style but every week I was taking them in for repair. Each time the arms kept breaking from the lens and returned after repair with lenses slanted different and told be careful there fragile.. why would Oakley make a such a crap design? I was regretting ever buying them at this point.. a total of 3 times in a month after purchase.. 2 days after the last repair they broke again!!! #4 But now I'm out of town on business in McAllen, TX.. at the La Plaza mall had a lens crafters so I called and a store member told me it wouldn't be a problem to bring them in.. the member I spoke to was busy with another customer when I arrived and the manager repaired my glasses. When they were returned they felt sturdy and the lenses were placed flat. So far very happy coming up on 2 months without a single problem and they aren't fragile.. the Corpus Christi store doesn't care or doesn't take any pride in there work..

I was able to pick out the most beautiful glasses and at a very decent price. This past weekend a little screw fell off and after trying to place it back in at home I decided to call and see if they would be able to help me. Katia answered me and she was very polite over the phone and said I could stop by so they can look into it and see if they would be able to help me. I ended up going the following day and Katie was the one that greeted me. She was able to replace the little screw and even helped me pick out a new pair. Honestly, great customer service and wide variety of glasses. Also, it helps that an optometrist is right next door.

I've also had complications since my surgery which had me doubting if Manríque's was to blame or myself. I didn't like that they kept asking what I was doing to get abrasions in my eyes and I didn't have an answer because I waking up with the abrasions. They've been very good to me and continued to care for me through these complications but I did miss a lot of days at work due to returning for follow ups.
