Save yourself the headache--skip this store entirely and just have support mail your equipment or send a technician. A formal complaint has been filed, and if the visiting technician confirms their equipment came from this store, a second complaint will be submitted for blatant dishonesty.

And, because I only have Internet for my place, it took a bit of research to find another provider. But, once I did, canceling Spectrum service was not easy! I know the CSR has a speil that he has to go through, to try and keep you as a customer (going so far as to offer, 1Gb service for$40.00/mo.; Why couldn't they have offered a discount when I called a few weeks previously asking about it?). But, between that, and asking irrelevant (and, irritating) questions, such as who's my Cellphone provider and, how much I pay, it's ridiculous that it took over 14 minutes to cancel the service. And, on top of that, I have to return the modem and router to either, a Spectrum Store. Or, send the stuff back via, The UPS Store. :-( Though, I did like them, their price increases have gotten out of hand.

Luckily our modem/router input had been rerouted around the splitter so it was still up. I did some looking around and found ADTV and figured to give them a call on a Saturday afternoon no less...figure the odds of getting someone knowledgeable. Blessed by the Universe...Ed answers the phone and we chat for at least an hour...most impressive is all i can say. He guessed the powered splitter was capoot...i was skeptical since the green light was still on. There was an old manual splitter...Ed suggested rerouting the antenna then connect a TV and try the auto signal search feature...98 channels found....yeah man. So i am connecting the other 2 TVs and we are set.

So, after chatting with the guy, thinking about it for a week (managed to catch my neighbor, whose had it for about a year now), and because of the $39.99 Introductory price (saved $99.00 Install), AND, having my own Router (saved $9.99/mo) and Security Suite ($4.99-$19.99/mo) AND, having Autopay from my Checking Account ($6.99 {$4.99+$2.00 Ser Charge/mo), I'm saving boocoo bucks each month over the Cable Co.! :-) So, 2 days ago (Thursday), I sent a text to the D2D guy. And, after chatting a bit, I was lucky enough to get Fiber Optics installed today (Saturday); just 2 days later! 8-) Early this morning, I got an automated text that the tech would be here between 10:45 and 12:45. :-) But, around 08:30, the tech sent me a text, asking if it would be OK to start earlier. After asking what time, he replies, 10 minutes. 8-o 8-) We had a little bit of a problem getting my new Router to sync up with my devices (phone and laptop). So, the tech fiddled some (not sure what he did) and, got it to working (he saved me from having to rent one of theirs)! So, I definitely give their people 5 Stars. But, because the installation point had to be in my bedroom, :-( , I can only give them 4 Stars. Thankfully, the green lights are small and, nowhere near as bright as those blue lights are. Finally, I got most of my devices (old PC can't connect via Wi-Fi) up and running smoothly. Am definitely digging it! Insofar as improved speeds, some pages load noticably faster. Some, no change (due to the site's set speed).

We were consistently put in contact with their main office, not a local store. The correct program cost more than they had originally told us locally and had fewer benefits, but we eventually ended up with something that was workable. It seemed to me like the local workers were pleasant and willing to help but just not knowledgeable.

We got a new tv that we needed to be mounted on the wall asap as we had guests coming the next day. When I called, it was about 4pm on Friday and I was able to get scheduled for someone to come at 10am on Sat. On Sat, JJ came and hung out TV. By far, I've never seen anyone whom I've hired to hang TVs do it with such ease, calmness, precision and efficiently. JJ made sure tv was just the right height and he was so sweet and awesome.
