I've taken…read moreboth of my dogs to a specific groomer for a couple years (Logan T) and she's always done EXCELLENT WORK to the point I was excited to know she was at this Petco location. Well trying to book one for one dog because he needed a haircut, not seeing Logan's name, I was very skeptical about him going to someone else but he needed it like I said. He was booked with Jasmine S, and let's just say she did a HORRIBLE job, to the point my dog was cut by his mouth. I HAVE NEVER EVER EXPERIENCED MY DOGS BEING CUT TO THE POINT 4 WORKERS WERE AROUND HIM BY THE TIME I WAS WALKING INTO THE STORE AND LOOKING INTO THE GLASS OF THE GROOMERS TO PICK HIM UP! The assistant manager brought him out to me and told me what was going on and that the service was free, (okay I guess) but she did a choppy a** job on him. I told the assistant manager my concerns and told me to leave my number for the Salon leader to bring him to be fixed but at this point, I'm scared to ever bring both of them back. -0/10, would not recommend her as a groomer. I barely wanna give this 1 star.

That is understandable so I left. After receiving the most current vaccination records, I returned around 12:30pm and encountered Bridgette. I explained the situation and provided her the records. As Bridgette was entering the information, I asked if my dog could be seen now or wait until 1:30pm (an appointment I made about 20 minutes prior). Bridgette said yes and to go get my pet from the car. Here's where the situation turned from great to worse. Bridgette was no longer at the desk and I waited in line for more than 10 minutes to get checked in. As the associates (male stylist with piercings in his right eyebrow and right ear) and female stylist Lo was figuring things out, Lo stated loudly that I would have to wait because I was late. I informed Lo that I was not late as Bridgette approved me to come in early for my 1:30pm appointment. I informed Lo unless she knows the situation, she should not try to embarrass me with her loud comment. About 45 minutes after dropping my dog off, I received a text informing me my dog was ready. I thought that was quick but I turned around and went back. I was met by the stylist with the piercing and he asked "what can I do for you ". I informed him that I received a text stating my dog was ready. He looked and said that was a mistake. No apologies or remorse just that was a mistake. I demanded my dog as this service and experience has been the absolute worst! The stylist never apologized even after retrieving my dog. I've looked at the reviews of this particular location and see the common complaint: RUDENESS!

When I arrived to pick up, I was greeted by another groomer. All the groomers were grooming dogs, including Edith that groomed Cairo. Normally, she greets me upon pick up. This time she kept grooming and the other groomer stopped grooming the dog she was with. Edith never even looked up. I didn't recognize my dog. I can understand having to cut a dog low, due to matting but I would still expect it to be even. He was botched and his tear stains and fur under his eyes was untouched. When he's gotten a wash the tear stains lighten some. It looked as if she just took the clippers to him, carelessly. I don't normally complain but this was horrible.

I recently visited the shelter to meet a dog that I was interested in adopting. Her fur was full of…read moremattes and she had been there for at least a week. Not only that, but I was told she will need major dental work as her canines are very worn down. For a dog to be neglected like that is unacceptable. I was going to adopt her and rescue her from the poor living conditions and neglect by this "rescue" but was told no since I had to make the difficult decision to relinquish my cat whom I had for over 3 years because she developed serious behavioral issues and was attacking my family and my dog unprovoked on a regular basis despite doing everything that was advised by my vet and a trainer. Additionally my dog whom I adopted from PAWS three years ago has never had an accident since day one of living with my husband and I. I thought it was odd of them to claim that she wasn't potty trained but now it all makes sense given what I saw when I showed up there the other day. And if that doesn't convince you, the staff there are incredibly rude to visitors. There was an older heavy set woman who handles adoptions who was there that night and yelled at my husband and belittled him for being "too close" to the dog. It was incredibly unnecessary to speak to him in that way. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!

We visited the aquarium last December and it was starting to snow. So, it was the perfect timing to…read morewarm up inside. The aquarium was super busy because so many family thought alike and prefered indoor attraction during the snowy day. We bought the ticket on site and it was quick despite it being so busy. The aquarium was good size. We spent about 3 hours to walk around most of the display and saw most of the shows. My favorite part was the beluga tank near a small corner with seatings where we had our snack there. It was so serene and calming. The dolphin show was good and my kid was amazed at how smart the dolphins are. The touch tank was exciting too. We touch sea stars and small sharks. Overall, it was a good aquarium and attraction for the whole family.
