Being an aquarium/fish beginner, Eric explained a lot to me and suggested what I would need from tank to fish.

I was relieved to see the location in such a nice shopping center.

Well trying to book one for one dog because he needed a haircut, not seeing Logan's name, I was very skeptical about him going to someone else but he needed it like I said. He was booked with Jasmine S, and let's just say she did a HORRIBLE job, to the point my dog was cut by his mouth. I HAVE NEVER EVER EXPERIENCED MY DOGS BEING CUT TO THE POINT 4 WORKERS WERE AROUND HIM BY THE TIME I WAS WALKING INTO THE STORE AND LOOKING INTO THE GLASS OF THE GROOMERS TO PICK HIM UP! The assistant manager brought him out to me and told me what was going on and that the service was free, (okay I guess) but she did a choppy a** job on him. I told the assistant manager my concerns and told me to leave my number for the Salon leader to bring him to be fixed but at this point, I'm scared to ever bring both of them back. -0/10, would not recommend her as a groomer. I barely wanna give this 1 star.

I arrived at 6:55am and got out of my car at 6:59. No one answered the doorbell, an employee showed up but couldn't enter since the manager had not yet arrived, there was also another employee in her car waiting... long story short one employee call the manager at 7:26. He answered his phone and said he'd be another 25 minutes, which was completely unacceptable! Therefore, since the manager was an hour late, I had to leave because I had other plans. I found another groomer for my dog and I was very happy with the results.

The groomer, Edith, felt through his fur and said it wasn't bad. I told here there was matting on one ear and he would need to be cut shorter on his ears. She felt it and agreed. I received a call that Cairo was ready for pick up, at that time I was informed that Cairo wouldn't allow the clippers near his face. No worries, they told me that before. When I arrived to pick up, I was greeted by another groomer. All the groomers were grooming dogs, including Edith that groomed Cairo. Normally, she greets me upon pick up. This time she kept grooming and the other groomer stopped grooming the dog she was with. Edith never even looked up. I didn't recognize my dog. I can understand having to cut a dog low, due to matting but I would still expect it to be even. He was botched and his tear stains and fur under his eyes was untouched. When he's gotten a wash the tear stains lighten some. It looked as if she just took the clippers to him, carelessly. I don't normally complain but this was horrible.

To top it off, they are beyond reasonable. I needed 10 gold fish for my son's birthday party (Sesame Street Theme). I needed the 10 fish bagged separately lol. The owner has a bit of dry humor and is somewhat of a jokester. In saying that, when I told the guy I needed them bagged separately he was totally against it. However, he bagged them separately and said he would charge me extra for the bag which totaled out to be an extra $.20 (yes, twenty cents lol). I also purchased food and my bill came out to be under $4. I can tell you now that Petsmart and Petco are much more expensive than this local store.

I'm disappointed with my experience trying to adopt through PAWS…read more I first visited the shelter to meet Neptune, but he was being housed in the stray section rather than the adoptable area because there was no available space. I was told that if I wanted to meet him, I needed to submit an adoption application and schedule an appointment. I submitted my application on June 6 and did everything I was asked to do. Since then, I have called PAWS at least twice a week and sent multiple follow-up emails asking for an update on my application and whether I could schedule a visit with Neptune. I also reached out about two other cats but never received a response regarding them either. I completely understand that PAWS is short-staffed, and I truly appreciate the work they do for the animals. However, communication with prospective adopters is just as important. Even a quick email saying that my application was still being reviewed, that there was a waitlist, or that another adopter was ahead of me would have been appreciated. Instead, after nearly a month of waiting and repeatedly trying to get in touch, on July 2 I finally received a very short email simply stating that Neptune had been adopted. While I'm genuinely happy that he found a home, it was extremely disappointing to spend weeks trying to communicate with no meaningful updates, only to receive a one-line email at the end. Also, I dont understand not trying to maintain a good communication and just keep the adoptees in the loop, it is actually frustrating when there is nothing i could do rather than emailing and calling them, it just is not fair. ( I am saying this based on all the previous google/yelp) reviews i have had, it does seem like this is an recurring problem and there has been nothing done to solve this, just seems suspicious at last. I hope PAWS can improve its communication with prospective adopters. Many people are genuinely trying to provide loving homes for these animals, and applicants deserve timely updates, even if the answer is simply that a cat has already been adopted or that there is a waitlist. Better communication would make the adoption experience much more respectful and transparent for everyone involved.

The crowd gets pretty bad around noon, and we ended up leaving shortly after. Concessions and snacks are pretty pricy here, they do allow food and drinks throughout most parts of the aquarium, just not around the touch tank and the open water part of the beluga and dolphin exhibit. Save some money and pack your own snacks and drinks as most areas are open to food and drink. It's a very stroller friendly aquarium, but waiting for the elevators to the wild reef exhibit can have about a 10-15 minute wait time. There are stairs down to the exhibit tucked away, but if you do have younger children be prepared with some entertainment while waiting for that elevator ride down, or have them take the stairs while one of you waits for the elevator. The lower parts has the play area meant for kids, so it's a good stop towards the end of your visit to tire your kids out. The elevators up don't have too much of a wait going back up If you are going to go in a larger group, purchase your tickets ahead of time to secure a time slot for the aquarium. It overall is a fun interactive aquarium that has a lot of play and learn areas for kids to explore and a lot of touch tanks for kids who are looking for a fun experience for the family. I would recommend going earlier in the day if you want to avoid crowds, but the highlight of this museum is definitely their dolphins and beluga whales.

I will say the layout of this aquarium is a bit unintuitive (I agree with other reviews who said it was a bit confusing). I didn't realize for a while that you have to go downstairs to see most of the museum. There are penguins, otters, and a coral reef/shark exhibit. On the ground level there is a sturgeon petting area! I have never seen this much sturgeon that were so large so I found it pretty interesting! I would recommend reserving tickets. The aquarium is pretty popular and gets pretty busy! The aquarium can be explored in about 2 hours i would say. it's a nice afternoon activity or date activity!
