They were supposed to trim a laurel hedge, but decided to only trim it as far up as they could reach without bothering to do the upper couple of feet. It is a horrible mess. They were supposed to re-gravel the driveway, but, brought such a fine-grade gravel that it was more dust than stones. I spoke about that and Sam Hill, the owner, said "It'll be fine once it rains." NO it's not. Most of the "gravel" blew away. It's a lumpy mess. I had also specified that I wanted the gravel to go all the way out to the edges of the current drive. I even said "I want it wide." Wasn't done. I complained and Sam said, "It looks like a nice, strip up the middle." He said if I wanted it out to the edges, he could write up another bid!!!! I had gone out the day before and weeded and made the edges of the drive very clear. These lazy people didn't even bother to move a trash can that was at the side: they just left it un-graveled. They didn't spread gravel over the entire area that is the turn-around either. You can see where they just put their gravel around in patches when they thought they could get away with leaving the old gravel. They cut a 50-year old lilac down to the ground for no reason at all. Apparently, Sam's parents own a nursery, so he "made it right" by putting 2 inch tall cuttings in its place. I objected because lilacs are very slow growing. Sam said "Oh, no...they grow really fast." NOT TRUE. I then went to a nursery and picked out a 4 foot tall lilac that would still not make up for the towering one that had been destroyed, but would be better than cuttings. Sam said he'd go get it. Well, he must have gone back to mom and dad again. They planted a one foot tall weakling that is now dead. I wanted them to plant something to mask my neighbors fence from view. I said something flowering, like a dogwood or cherry. I expected someone who calls himself a landscaper to know plants; to know what would grow in the space indicated. I babied that tree for months, but...it's now dead, too. So, thousands of dollars went for damage and ignorance and laziness and refusal to repair what they ruined. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.

We hired Lawn Pros to mow our lawn while on vacation. We had just spent a lot of money getting…read moredrainage work done and the lawn replanted. Lawn was nice and smooth. It had rained a lot and they came to mow. Well, you know what happened. Because of the rain, their mower was too heavy and left deep marks in our brand new lawn. Rather than stop mowing when they started to sink, they just kept mowing. We called and the owner came out to check it out. Due to the wet weather, he assured us they would take care of it. We called when the weather was dry. He finally came out but we had just mowed and they couldn't see how the ride on the mower was not smooth. When y husband went over the spots that sank when they mowed, it was like going over pot holes. Every time we called, we were promised they would call because they do the schedule on Fri. It is now mid Aug and we are still waiting for a call. We are sick of having them tell us they will call back. We finally called them and told them to forget it - that we would do it ourselves. Guess that was the answer they wanted from the beginning. They should have told us that.

We had a large backyard project completed by ND Brick Pavers at the end of 2021 (Jose and Ryan were…read moreour main contacts). We had a really frustrating experience of poor communication and work not being done as requested. We had a lot of back and forth and yet still did not get the result we wanted. Ultimately, the main things we were concerned about came to fruition--there are pavers that are wobbly and not level, there are pavers that create a bowl and trap water creating lakes in our patio and our grass area is basically a swimming pool all winter because they did not provide adequate drainage despite our repeated encouragement/concern. Our fence is now being damaged due to their workmanship putting pressure on it, leading to more money needing to be spent down the road. Despite their "warranty", they have not returned multiple emails from me saying I'd like to discuss the issues. All in all, it is very frustrating to have spent so much money (and time) on a project only to have it done in a way that will not be long-lasting. I discourage you from using them for your yard projects in the future.
