Ribs, brisket, pulled pork, sausage, ham and all the tasty sides. Everything was delicious. Best brisket I've had in Texas and the biggest ribs I haver ever seen. All the sides were equally delicious! He devoured the corn and cole slaw, I gobbled the beans and mac and cheese. The potato salad isn't like chunks of potato-more like mashed potatoes with a mustardy vinegar kick. Different but really good! Beans had bacon and great flavor. The place wasn't very crowded so got seated quickly. Ordered drinks and a few appetizers. Got the Coyote Balls and the chips with queso and salsa. Coyote Balls were excellent but the chips with queso and salsa were just ok. Got a lot of tortilla chips but look like got the bottom of the bag or someone used the bag of chips for a punching bag. Not very many whole chips. Then came time to order and one of us ordered ribs and were told the ribs had sold out and that all the bbq except the sausage was sold out. That's what we went for so would have been nice to know when we're seated that they were out of bbq. I get it, and know a lot of bbq places run out before end of the day. But most other places let customers know before being seated or at least when taking drink orders. So we had to shift gears and find something else. Wife and I shared a Chicken Fried Steak with Cole slaw and fries. Chicken fried steak was very large and didn't have a lot of breading and was ok. Slaw was ok and the fries were good. It's still the same thing eclectic Loco Coyote with the rustic Texas type decor. The troughs in the men's bathroom have wooden dividers between them now. Maybe just an off day or got there at a bad time. I'll give it a try again one of these days when in the area. Hopefully will have a better review next time. But for now sticking by my 3 stars.

It's home cooked food, calories-not-monitored, but worth every single bite. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but I knew it was going to be good when we saw the parking lot was overflowing into the grass. Luckily there was still an open table inside and we were welcomed by the sweetest staff and our waitress was just as wonderful. So many things looked good on the menu, but I couldn't resist ending this road trip with another taste of chicken fried steak to compare to Mary's (and they can definitely compete because it was AWESOME)! We also tried the chicken fried chicken (delicious), sweet potato casserole (amazing), Mae's potato casserole (tasty), cheese sticks (good), and the hamburger and fries which was obviously delicious enough that my picky daughter almost finished it - which says a LOT! We were very glad that we'd ordered the "smaller portions" for lunch because it meant we could grab a few of the desserts to go to snack on for our final leg of the road trip and keep enjoying at home. We tried the toffee cake (incredible), peanut butter cake (sinfully good), and the coconut pie (very light and creamy)! We also snagged some items to take home with us from their coolers and I can 100% recommend their pork tamales and summer sausage. If you get the chance to stop here, you won't regret it at all! The seat was dry, which you don't find very often. There was plenty of toilet paper. And the latch on the stall worked perfectly. At that point, I realized I had found a five star bathroom. So I sat there a little longer to enjoy the peace and quiet and ate another gummy. While contemplating life, I noticed some writing on the stall wall. It said. "If you want the job done right, call Martha." I thought, Well, Martha sounds confident. So I decided to give her a call. Turns out it wasn't Martha. It was Bob's Plumbing. So I gave the place four stars. They really need to occasionally verify the phone numbers written on the stall walls.
