Wow, Hardee's burgers are awesome. Love the chargrilled aspect. Way better than Burger King. The service was quick, right at lunch time. The only downside is my husband and I ordered two #2 combo meals and it cost $25.... That's a lot for a place we're not likely going to dine in at. We spent about $25 dollars on three meals at Chick-fil-A, which you would think would be more expensive. Still the most delicious fast food burger, imo. read more

Ordered two items, a chicken biscuit and a sausage egg and cheese, paid over 10 dollars, when the mix and match says two for 5, okay I get it... fine print. What i got was two sausage egg and cheese... and no, the place was not busy, how? How can anyone be that irresponsible at a work place. I would say I would never go back, but all the fast food restaurants in Staunton provide poor service. UPDATE: Called the store to let them know they got my order wrong, was told I was rude by the manager and he hung up on me. Whole restaurant is disgusting. Bathroom reeks of urine. Toilet paper strung all over and on top of the trash can. Looks like the floors haven't been mopped in years. Everywhere you step, your shoe sticks to the floor. I didn't even order anything. Went inside to grab a bite to eat, but had to use the bathroom first. Just seeing the way they keep the dining area and bathroom so nasty was enough to tell me I didn't want to eat ANYTHING that comes out of that kitchen. Hardee's is a southwest staple that has been around for the ages. I have fond memories of going with my Nanny to get breakfast there, the days people could smoke in restaurants. The service is always quick and friendly, it does Fluctuate depending on location. The ambiance is casual. Worst place I've ever gone to. I live in Staunton and I've went here a lot . I try to convince myself that this time will be better. It gets worse every time. Food is horrible. It takes forever to get your food. Even when no one is in the drive thru and no one inside. I don't get it. They say there short handed. But they won't hire felons. Because there Christians. Went here this morning and recieved a cinnabun that had icing all over the outside of the box and NO icing on the cinnabun inside the box..you think that is bad then read this. We also recieved a bacon double egg biscuit and the cheese was like frozen cold and the bacon looked as though it had not even seem the griddle, it was cold but the eggs were warm and the biscuit was warm. So i went inside and told the black girl behind the counter what was wrong and she gave us the old "what the hell do you want" look and said something snotty, so I replied with well this is why we rarely frequent this hardees. She then said well dont fuckin come here then, so i got mad and told her to just give me my money and i'll not come back to the Staunton Hardees to get cold food and terrible treatment. This is the worst place I've ever eaten and it's not because the food is terrible the food is okay. It's the service that's usually terrible - there may be one or two employees that are really quite good but for the most part you get attitude. I'm tired of attitude and the price of the food is very high you may as well go to a sit down restaurant. We walked in and the floor was sticky like it had not be mopped in a month. other customers mentioned while we were in line that the soda machine and coffee was out. Roach on the floor. Broom and dust pan in the eating area. trash full at 10am. Trash on the floor. The CORPORATE OFFICE should remove their name from this store. I walked out and refused to eat from this store. This place is a joke. You'll wait for 20-30 minutes sometimes just to have your order wrong. The inside doesn't look like it's been cleaned very well and the two of the staff came in from smoking and went straight to the register and kitchen, skipping the hand washing station. read more
