He looked bored out of his mind and welcoming just wasn't in his wheelhouse. Our burgers were so overcooked they were borderline burnt. The fries were overcooked and nearly hard. They forgot to put my hot dog in the bag with the rest of the food. The chocolate shake was the only thing that was properly made and tasted very good. The floors were mostly dry, save for one suspicious puddle that seemed sentient and probably had a name. (I called it "Gerald." We're cool now.) Now, the urinal situation. Oh boy. There it was. A display that defied logic, biology, and basic decency: a half-eaten muffin perched like a sad gargoyle on the lip of the urinal. Was it blueberry or possibly banana nut? Either way, questioning every decision that led it to this point in its short, crumb-filled life. Was this a snack break gone wrong? A protest? A new form of passive-aggressive art installation? We stood in slow poke line to place order. First mistake employee only gave us two cups instead of three. After getting drinks the order was ready . Brought it to the table to unpack the bag. Mistake number two they forgot the McDouble. Mistake number three my daughter who has a severe onion allergy opened her cheeseburger to find onions.. She took it back up to the counter and told the manager the problem. Manager dumped her cheeseburger and personally made a replacement. We finished our lunch and took drinks to the car for sipping on the road. After ten minutes on the road I got severe gas cramps and needed to find a restroom. We made a side trip to locate the Exxon station advertised. After taking care of the emergency we continued.on.our way home. Once home I took another sip of my High C orange. Despite being the only customer in the drive-thru, I waited a few minutes before anyone took my order, and the employee on the speaker sounded annoyed that I was there at all. The payment window experience was much better - the staff member was friendly and happily added fries to my order when I asked. Unfortunately, things went downhill at the pickup window. The employee opened the window without any greeting and simply stuck my drink out. When I smiled and asked "how are you today?" I received only a frown and complete silence in return. Her only communication was telling me to "pull up to window 3" while pointing to window 2. Thankfully, the young man who delivered my food at the correct window was friendly and professional. I'm not looking for anything free - just sharing feedback. With so many dining options in the area and service like this, I'm unlikely to return to this location. Side note: I was surprised that medium fries cost $3.50 while double cheeseburgers were under $3.00 each. The pricing seems backward.
