I should have read my own one star review and all the other negative reviews before stopping here. Unfortunately we decided to have lunch here on our long drive back to the coast from having jaw surgery in Chapel Hill. We stood in slow poke line to place order. First mistake employee only gave us two cups instead of three. After getting drinks the order was ready . Brought it to the table to unpack the bag. Mistake number two they forgot the McDouble. Mistake number three my daughter who has a severe onion allergy opened her cheeseburger to find onions.. She took it back up to the counter and told the manager the problem. Manager dumped her cheeseburger and personally made a replacement. We finished our lunch and took drinks to the car for sipping on the road. After ten minutes on the road I got severe gas cramps and needed to find a restroom. We made a side trip to locate the Exxon station advertised. After taking care of the emergency we continued.on.our way home. Once home I took another sip of my High C orange. Once again I became really sick and realized mistake number four, it was the drink that was making me sick,! It got dumped and I was back in the bathroom to overcome my stomachache. The double quarter bounder I got from there is so greasy I could get diabetes from it. The box is soaking wet from all the grease. The screen in the drive thru is not even working I can't see what I order on the screen. The lady that took my order wasn't even friendly I can hear thru her voice that she's not even interested in her job. read more

A horrible and upsettingly scary experience. If I could give it a zero I would. Upon arriving and using the kiosk to order, an employee after getting a request to return up front. She was visibly hostile and angry at being called back to work. She started throwing food into the bags, yelling at her associates and sloppily poured flavoring into an iced drink that she then poured onto the floor. Everyone was yelling with many clients waiting for their food. Manager ....do something!!!! We left never to return. read more

Michael, who I take to be the "manager" (and I use that term loosely, was RUDE and unprofessional. As I sit here in the booth he's being nasty to customers. He was acting like a complete ass and acted totally inconvenienced when asked if the tables that was caked with grease and food could be wiped off. Had such a horrible experience with the manager at this McDonalds. She gave me cold food and when I complained she called the cops on me, and was extremely rude. The cop told me that this McDonald's is constantly calling cops for no reason, even the cop recommended for me to put a complaint on the manager because she was extremely rude the cop had to tell her to calm down. I will never return to this horrible place as long as she's there. read more

Soda machine was broken they told me, so I could get Hi-C or water. Lotta bread, little burger. Somewhat languid clerks. Not enough salt on fries. Burgers not bad, if mostly bread. It was a long wait just to get the wrong order when we were the only people in line. I asked for no tomatoes and they gave me two small slices. I stopped on my way to the beach. This McDonald's shares a building with a convenience store, therefore it is a smaller facility than the average stand alone restaurant. They were moderately busy with what I am guessing were folks just like me - folks driving to the beach. Ordered my quarter pounder with cheese and no onions, which was quickly ready. My extended family lives only a few blocks away so I frequent the McDonalds with my son about one or two times a month. I really appreciate the gas station being tied to the play place inside. However the drive thru experience can be annoying at times. People get gas and are subsequently blocked in by the drive thru traffic entering from the far right to left across the pump locations. And the staff are not well versed in the English language leaving the "face to face" service even more mind boggling. But all in all my orders have remained correct after the language curve, and the staff is quick and friendly. read more

First off if you are going to work the register you should probably speak english. I walked up and asked for a number 4a meal small. The lady proceeded to tell me i was asking for a spicy and when i told her no i wanted a regular crispy chicken sandwich she then told me the toppings on the 4b and 4c chicken sandwiches. After this confusion she rang up my order as just the sandwich missing the fries and drink. My friend who was ordering with me also didn't get bacon on his sandwich and was charged for it. When he went back inside to get his ordered corrected they gave him an attitude and made him a new sandwich. Terrible McDonalds read more

Newton Grove's is horrible! Order never right, always have to pull up to wait, and so slowwwwwwww.

The workers are rude and my fries were burnt and had no salt on it and kinda tasted like chemicals. The only good thing I got out of my experience at this Newton Grove McDonald's was the sweet tea- that kinda slapped. read more

Interestingly enough this one is just as nasty as the other one owned by the same family down the road. Play area is filthy, flies everywhere. There was a sign stating it had been sanitized by a company- I wouldn't trust that company to clean anything. It was so groSs, I washed my children's hands and feet afterward. Orders are correct on the screen at the drive thru and on the computer inside the restaurant but NEVER what you ordered when you finally receive it post ordering. This is one of the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I live only a few miles from their, but they are lacking alot. Other McDonald's serve breakfast til 10:30...this one doesn't. All I wanted was a large black coffee for my drive along I-40. Took 5 minutes at the drive through. Once I started driving I noticed the lid opening had already been pushed in. I took the lid off and saw to the bottom of the coffee cup. It was so thin and looked like dirty dish water. I took a tiny sip and spit it out. I poured it out.
