It is situated on Back Beach Road in front of Lowes, not far from the Publix shopping plaza. Every year we go to PCB, my dad always likes to hit this Whataburger up on the way in or out of town, so naturally we do. I am usually a pretty classic guy when at Whataburger and always go with the bacon double and onion rings. My pops loves the classic hamburger and fries. Service, much like any Whataburger can be a bit slow, but they prepare majority of their menu to order, so patience pays off as things are normally hot and "fresh". Overall, we enjoy Whataburger for what it is. Would we wait in an hour long line, nah...but will we pop in to scoop up the goods, yup!

I just had the worst experience with your employees at the Panama City Beach Florida location pot…read morebell. I received your coupon BOGO on my app. I wasn't sure how to use it. I entered my order into the app, but didn't yet pay. I simply went in after ordering on the app to ask for assistance in paying for it and told him I had the BOGO I wanted to use. I told him I had entered my order but the BOGO said apply at checkout, so I was asking how to pay and use the BOGO because the total was still for both sandwiches. He took my phone and said you need to add your payment info and it would give him a bar code that he would scan. I did as he instructed and it charged me for both sandwiches never showing a barcode I then asked for my money back and was told he couldn't do that, but I could still use the coupon again for two more days. I said this isn't right and he began to blame me for saying it was my fault because I already punched the order I which I initially showed him my phone and told him that. He got loud telling me it wasn't his fault and I told him it was because if his instructions. Seems very odd that he couldn't have canceled. This whole order had decent customer service and retake the order using the Bogo and also paying at the counter.. we both got loud. My wife was sitting at the table listening and when I walked over to table he then told me to get out and as I turned my sandwich bag hit my water courtesy cup that was in the table and it spilled on the floor and I told him sorry and we left. He literally followed us out of the store acting like he was calling someone. I wrote to Potbelly that I'd be sharing this experience online and on Yelp and you really should have some discussion with your employees about how they treat people (he said he was the assistant manager to boot). I have pictures of the receipt but just see the number 4024 and my name. I also have a picture if your BOGO which is why I went the to begin with. If your company is incapable of doing such a credit reversal and getting an order right it's a poor way of doing business. Will never step foot in that Potbelly's again to be treated with such disrespect.

When you walk in, it is an order at the counter and seat yourself setup, which gives it a fast food kind of vibe. The menu consists of laminated sheets near the register, which already made the place feel a bit underwhelming. The prices were honestly shocking. One taco was over $6, and all sides and drinks are separate. We ordered a side of chips and salsa and queso, along with a burrito, a kids taco, a steak taco, and a bowl. One odd thing was the lack of basic toppings or modifications. There was no sour cream, no olives, and strangely no lettuce. After we sat down, we noticed a kids corner, which was nice. However, there were no high chairs, which made it inconvenient. It took about 10 minutes to get our food. While we were getting settled and grabbing drinks, the ice ran out and the sodas were flat. The chips, queso, and salsa came out first, and that was one of the worst parts of the experience. The chips tasted like cheap bagged tortilla chips, and the salsa seemed like it came from a jar. When the main food came out, it was disappointing. Everything was served on flour tortillas, the cheese tasted like mozzarella, and the kids taco was just meat in a tortilla. Everything was extremely salty. My husband could not even finish his burrito. My bowl was especially odd with cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and sweet pickled onions. The birria meat was very salty and tasted more like a crockpot roast than anything else. There really was no reason to complain to the staff. I am fine paying for what we ordered, and I do not think there was anything they could have done to make it right. None of us finished our meals, and we will not be going out of our way to come back.

The mahi-mahi tacos were excellent: fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The fish was not overdone, which can make or break a fish taco. These were bright, satisfying, and exactly what I was hoping for. The nachos were good too. The chips were fine, but the sauce was the standout and gave them the extra lift they needed. What I liked most about Diego's is that it feels like a true local taco shop. You order at the counter, they give you a number, you find a seat, and they bring the food out to you. Easy, casual, and unpretentious. I'd definitely go again and would recommend it, especially if you're in the mood for fresh fish tacos in a relaxed local spot.

For my meal, I ordered their bronzed grouper sandwich. Unfortunately, when I brought it back to my hotel room, I was underwhelmed at just how little fish was actually on the sandwich, which was primarily just a bunch and lettuce. I'm not entirely sure if my picture even does it justice, but I'd be willing to bet there was only 1.5-2 ounces of meat on the entire thing. On top of an insanely small sandwich, which led me to have to go get dinner elsewhere, the fries were halfway cold and average at best. An unfortunate experience here.
