Great food!!! Staff are nice!!! 2 stars because they consistently close early. I have been turned away multiple times after walking through the door because they are closing an hour or more early. This is a pretty good spot. It had a simple and old decor but the food was good. I ordered the Mexican omlette. It really looked at bit small to me but I was so wrong. This omlette was narrow but as long as the plate. The egg was super thin, this allowed for the omlette to be stuffed with so many good toppings. I really enjoyed it but I could not finish it all. Flap Jacks is a nice little breakfast diner in Lynn Haven that I have been meaning to try for over a year before I finally stopped by for breakfast one morning. We walked in and were lucky there was one last table open so we did not have to wait. We sat down and were greeted right away by our server. Just stopped by for breakfast. Was hard to see if the place was open but 3-4 vehicles in the parking lot. Not very busy but it was very early. Waitress came right up got drink order, I ordered an omelette ( don't remember name). It was very large had sausage, pepper, onion, hash browns inside with Gravy on top. It was delicious the side of grits was flavorful had a bit much butter but an easy fix. Service was great waitress was busy but always came back to check and fill drink. Pretty dang busy but we were seated quickly on a Saturday morning at 0930. Mrs and I both ordered country omelettes. Waitress was friendly and fast to take our orders and bring us our drinks. Yelp says to take ambiance into consideration when writing reviews . It's a local version of Waffle House so you can figure that out yourself. Food was very good. When visiting Flap Jacks i was greeted with a warm welcome. It was a classic quick stop diner vibe like a Waffle House. My waitress was very sweet and friendly. They had a lot of options on the menu something for everyone. We got biscuits and gravy, goulash, and some blueberry pancakes i kept hearing amazing things about. Everything came out quickly and was pretty good. They blueberries in that pancakes tasted super fresh and loved the addition of mushrooms in the goulash! read more

Flap Jacks is BACK!! They are now open! Hurricane Michael tore down their sign but don't be fooled, they are open. Things I like about Flap Jacks: 1) Not a chain. 2) The staff is friendly and have a relationship with their regulars, cutting up with them when they come in. 3) The food is good and the prices are reasonable. We spent lots of time at Flap Jacks after many of baseball and football games. We will definitely visit again. The Deluxe Club was good and not so massive that food went to waste. If you need a quick bite be sure to call ahead for their hours! Their dining room is open. read more

We didn't even know this place was here because there is no sign on the outside. I thinks it's a safe house for the CIA or something. There's no sign but people find their way here, "if you build it they will come!" Great little breakfast shop. Everyone was friendly and patient with our big little family. My wife and I decided to finally try Flaps Jacks, WHAT A MISTAKE! Not only did we walk out due waiting 40 minutes before deciding to leave, we still didn't receive any food yet! We had to ask our server five times for our orange juice placed at the time of initial order! The cook is slow and busy at first, but this was horrible. My family and I will never go back to that place. Clearly undermanned too. One server for the whole floor and one for the bar. Wow!
