The greens and black eyed peas were seasoned perfectly. The okra was hot and fried well. The Mac and cheese wasn't my favorite. My guy remarked that his sides were lukewarm at best as he prefers his food to be very hot when it arrives. I would think this is because the sides are already prepared and waiting and the meats and fried items are cooked to order. We also ordered a slice of coconut cake, which was homemade, moist and delicious. During this trip, the daughter of the owner stated that she was in the hospital recovering but would be released soon. We pray for her speedy recovery!
