Donut Hole is a staple for my family every time we're in Destin. No frills, good food, big portions, reasonably priced, and quick service. A classic diner experience. You wait in line to be seated, and if you go at peak times, the line will definitely be out the door. My go-to is an omelet with hash browns and a biscuit. You can't really go wrong, except for maybe the side salad left something to be desired. But who gets a side salad at a diner anyway.

You can't miss with this place. I haven't had the breakfast but I can surely say they have the best donuts I've ever had. The apple pie filled donut was the greatest. Coffee was good and they rang us up fast we were in and out. Super friendly and great atmosphere out and around the restaurant. I'll be back that's for sure!

A dozen delicious donuts, just a little more jumbled than usual.

We usually go to Destin but this year vacationed at Panama City Beach, so had to find the nearest Donut Hole & Inlet Beach location did not disappoint. It's a bright & clean looking spot with lots of room. At 7:45 on a Monday, late in the season, I avoided the usual line out the door for donuts. With friendly, fast (& patient) service, the cashier filled the box to my meticulous instructions. 2 pumpkin iced, 2 key lime, one coconut, etc. until, all too quickly, my dozen were done. They were delicious as ever. They have eat-in options as a full restaurant as well so check it out.

Another annual visit for donuts to go. Photos taken at 6:00 a.m. as they first open for the day!

We didn't eat here, just stopped in for a few donuts to go. Cute restaurant. Very busy for breakfast. They have so many varieties of donuts to choose from. I got 1/2 dozen donuts and a pineapple upside down cake. They were very good

I stopped by here earlier today with my wife and twins. We had decided to stop at Donut Hole because our gate agent at PIT had raved about it during check-in for our flight. Donut Hole is a standalone building right near where Highway 98 meets 30A. Outside, they have benches and seats along with a couple of games like cornhole and ping pong. Inside, they have a large display case full of baked goods as well as lots of donuts on display behind the counter. If you want to eat in, they can accommodate that too, with plenty of seating available. For my donuts this morning, I decided to go with a toasted coconut and also chose a strawberry angel. My wife picked a chocolate donut with coconut, while my son went with a sprinkles and chocolate icing donut, and my daughter chose a pistachio muffin. I started with the toasted coconut donut and thought it tasted good. I appreciated that the coconut was toasted, and the donut itself had the texture of a cake donut, but one that was still somewhat light. After that, I ate my strawberry angel. The donut was light and fluffy, and the strawberry cream filling was sweet and tasty. My wife also thought her coconut donut was flavorful, and my twins each ate most of theirs, which showed they liked them. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. I appreciated the vibe here, thought that their donuts were good, and would like to try to dine in.

We had a large group and our waitress did great. I had the crab benny which was fantastic, but everyone enjoyed their meals. Picked up a couple donuts on the way out to try later. Even though it was 2 days before we tried them, they were still very good.

Cute breakfast place for the family. Lots for kids to do while you wait from Cornhole/bags to table tennis/ping-pong. The option for donuts is pretty big and they look delicious. We sat down and ate and I do wish they had an option for Turkey sausage or Chicken sausage. They also didn't have feta as option for omelet. The coffee was pretty good and the sour dough toast was delicious!! My daughter got the short stack which is 2 HUGE pancakes. I just got an omelet with cheese and avocado.

The service is always quick, and the waiters are always very informed of what the dishes are if you have any questions. They have a very good mixed drink selection, if you're looking for alcohol, and their beers are priced decently for the area you're in. We went to George's most recently on a night when it was a bit chilly out, but they had heaters going and you could sit outside to enjoy the fresh air while eating dinner. Everything on their menu that we've ever tried has been five-star, elite food. The quality of the food is worth the price. We got dessert this most recent time which was also amazing. I believe their menu changes depending on the season so I would highly recommend visiting multiple times on any trip. You take to 30A. Extra note - it is a kid-friendly setup, if you have young ones that you would like to take. There are some areas in 30A where it's a bit too fancy or uncomfortable to take kids, but this is a good spot for a family.

The food, though, didn't quite hit the mark. The lunch menu felt pretty limited, and what we ordered just wasn't very flavorful. We tried an appetizer and an entrée each, but nothing really stood out. I was excited about the lobster and shrimp quesadilla, but it ended up being the biggest letdown. Looking back, I probably should've gone with the burger. Prices were on the high side for what we got, which might just be because of the location, but still felt steep. Overall, amazing service, but the food and value didn't live up to expectations.

The soup was my favorite crab soup out of the 3 I tried around 30a. We got the shrimp carbonara and shrimp and grits for our entrees. The carbonara portion was huge. Appetizers came out pretty quick. The complimentary bread was good. Our only criticism was that the shrimp came with the tails on so we can get our hands dirty with sauce to remove the tails off. Not going to deduct points for it as it seems like everywhere in 30a serves shrimp with tails but my southern husband was disappointed by it at a nice restaurant. We will definitely be back on future trips to 30a. The happy hour deals are amazing and people line up at the door at open for the $6 martini special (bar only - but you can get up and walk over there). We went with a group of seven and everything from the atmosphere to the food made it a really fun night out. The location and vibe are fantastic -- lively but relaxed, the kind of place where you can easily settle in with friends and enjoy a good meal. We started with appetizers for the table: calamari, onion rings, and volcano shrimp. All three disappeared quickly. The calamari was really good and normally comes served over jalapeños, but since I don't eat them the kitchen kindly put them on the side for us. The onion rings were fantastic, and the volcano shrimp had a little heat (which the spice lovers at the table really liked). For dinner I had the hibachi steak over fried rice with yum-yum sauce, cooked medium. It was excellent -- tender, flavorful, and a generous portion. Others in our group ordered the same dish and loved it as well. The chicken nachos were huge (normally an appetizer but easily a full meal) with really tasty queso that had a bit of spice. The burger and flatbreads at the table also got great reviews. We also tried the chocolate dessert bomb at the end (not sure of the exact name), and it was fantastic -- chocolate mousse and cake inside a chocolate shell with whipped cream. Definitely worth sharing. The drinks were great, the service was friendly, and the whole place had a welcoming feel. One thing we really appreciated as well: they offer a military discount, which was a nice touch. We're locals and this was our first visit, but it definitely won't be our last.
