We had a handicapped person with walker. We went to wrong door. Young waitress told us we had to walk him around the building. I told her he was handicapped. She didn't care. I asked if they had clam chowder. She said I don know. I ordered fish n chips. The Cole slaw was made with a lot of raw onion. It was terrible. My sisters fried oysters were very few and she said they were mushy. My brother had scallops. Not happy. Very few and not good. My husband had seafood gumbo and said it only had shrimp. I will start by saying that I've been coming here for over thirty years. I've never had a bad meal here. The food is always amazing! The three stars are due to the service I've received on my last two visits. Which happens to be from the same server as ironic as that sounds... I absolutely love the food but the service is starting to lack the same enthusiasm it once had. The two visits I'm speaking of were just lousy. She seemed to favor one particular table over all of her others. (Myself and one more). I mean, I'm a 30% tipper on most days so I don't understand. Maybe the two gentlemen were her relatives? She finally made her way to my table and seemed In a hurry to get my order. Which I placed with her. She then proceeds BACK to the same table and resumes her conversation. I'm only writing this because she was very unprofessional and it took way too long for her to, 1. Acknowledge our table, and 2. Turn in our order to the kitchen. While waiting for a table outside (if you even need to wait) there are lots of signs and ocean related things to gaze at. Most dishes here are fried matter. Ordered the gumbo and it came out lukewarm arguably worse than cold. Got a burger that was mid at best. Other assorted food items were also mid at best. The waitress was kind and helpful. There were colored and drawn on dollar bills taped on the walls and beams inside. Stopped here when we were supposed to go on scream ride across the street and they cancelled last minute.the place had dollar bills up everywhere. I ordered a salad it was decent. I asked if they could make a skinny margarita basically just with lime juice she said no. Then I ordered vodka soda. It came in a small plastic cup for $11.50! Yikes. Food was excellent ( J Michaels shrimp and Shrimp/Pasta). Service was VERY good as my class was NEVER empty. The atmosphere was also very cool with the dollar bills, shotguns and surfboards. I guess I don't get the negative reviews. If you go to any place during peak season/peak hours and expect perfection, you won't get that anywhere. Stopped by on a whim after doing a harbor cruise. What a surprise we got. The people working are super friendly. The food we had was really good and brought fast. I had the grilled garlic shrimp with potatoes and salad. The shrimp were perfectly done and the potatoes were delicious. Loved it so much more than all the tourist trap places. A friend had a hamburger and it was huge and done right. Great experience overall!!! Coming back next trip. read more

These two stars are for the fun atmosphere and creative displays on the ceiling and walls and because my parents liked the fried shrimp. Other than that the food and service was the worst I've had in PCB and I live here. I ordered the J Michael shrimp in curry sauce and I couldn't eat it. It was cold and the flavor was lacking. I tried the fries, cole slaw and Lima beans, also terrible. Our waitress had an attitude and when I told her I couldn't eat my food she said sorry and walked away! We also mentioned the Lima beans were cold and she didn't offer any help. The one margarita we ordered tasted like a virgin and then we were charged for two and had to have it taken off. I am really not that picky and try to give a place a real chance, but I will not come back. The only thing I would eat was my salad and some crackers. There are too many better choices. read more

Staff was fast and very cool. The fried shrimp and scallop were so good. The hush puppies were the best I've ever eaten. We had the gumbo and rice appetizer. It was not that good. It was lacking seasoning and didn't taste like gumbo at all. I would highly recommend this restaurant. read more
