I want to preface this review by saying this is my fifth visit in the past two years, and I've previously left a 5-star review because my experiences here have generally been very positive. Unfortunately, today's lunch visit was disappointing. We stopped in around 1pm, and the restaurant was mostly empty aside from a few guests at the bar. The calamari was fantastic, easily the highlight of the meal. However, the rest of the experience fell short. Our food took quite a while to come out despite the restaurant not being busy. My father's burger arrived raw and had to be sent back, which was frustrating. I ordered the grouper sandwich. While the fish itself was cooked properly, it tasted bland and lacked seasoning. The portion of fish was also much larger than the bun, which made it awkward to eat, the fillet kept sliding out and falling apart. It just wasn't a good overall feel for a sandwich. Additionally, the service felt inattentive. Our waitress wasn't very engaged, and overall the experience didn't match the standard I've come to expect here. I'm hoping this was just an off day, as I've had great meals here before. read more

Son n daughter-in-law brought us here for a delicious dinner. The food is great! Service friendly n delightful. Plenty of parking and great seating areas. We dined on their outdoor patio area which had a large bar area and plenty of seating. It was quiet because it was a week night. We lingered and enjoyed each other's company. Came to PCB for a long weekend and our hotel recommended Copper Tap Grille as a local favorite. We had a couple of local beers which were great and their cocktail menu looked good. We each got salads and the server did was on point with her recommendation for dressings. We also got warm bread with a butter/pesto dip that was delicious. The bread was nice and warm. I ended up ordering the filet and it was cooked perfectly. They have a potato of the day on the menu and it was roasted which they were good. My husband got a shrimp and crawfish pasta that looked great and he loved it. We are in town on a cold and rainy day and were seated right away so can't speak to what it would be like on a regular night. If we were ever to come back to this toe we would definitely recommend coming back. They had a nice outdoor seating area that I would have loved to sit out and enjoy a drink but it was just too cold. read more

We had been to the Copper top grill several times in the past and enjoyed the food and service. When family came to town we thought it was a good choice for dinner. Complete disappointment . Salads had large cut onions and soft tomatoes. A very small container of dressing came on the side and store bought. I had to send back my chicken tortilla soup because it was cold. When it FINALLY came back out it was flavorless and the chicken was dry also was served in salad bowl. Did not eat it. The waffle parmesan fries were regular frozen fries not waffle with no Parmesan just a lot of salt. Did not eat them. The calamari was drenched in balsamic vinegar and limp, clearly frozen poor quality. The filet steak was cooked unevenly and over done one half. Don't know how that happened. Pasta dish of crawfish and shrimp had tail on shrimp in it !! The craw fish was pretty much non existent and over cooked, sauce was bland. The crab bites had an odd consistency and was not worth getting. Others were disappointed also. The key lime pie was good they said. What happened to the good food you use to serve? I would gladly pay what we were charged IF it was worth it. Over priced. read more

Love that they have bottomless mimosas on Sunday but a more brunchy menu to go with it would be nice. Hopefully it's something they expand in the future. Either way, I do recommend this place. We came to the Copper Tap Grille for my husband's birthday dinner and it absolutely blew our socks off! We started out with the meatballs, which were huge but so savory and delicious. The entrees come with soup or salad, we chose the She Crab Soup... OMG this soup is out of this word! Basically like a creamy crab bisque, it was a punch in the mouth with flavor. I could have eaten 10 bowls of it, it if wasn't so rich! Then my husband ordered the Sesame Ahi Entree which was so delicious, perfectly cooked, and a giant portion. This restaurant was awesome! We tried it because it was recommended by a friend. We arrived around 7pm for dinner and were seated right away on a Wednesday. There was no wait. We didn't want to try them on a weekend because I figured they would be super busy and that's when service lacks. Anyhow, the bartender made excellent drinks. We had appletinis and unlike other places where you can't taste the vodka/alcohol, these were made just right! For appetizer, we tried their meatballs which were very delicious and decent portions too. Their menu said it was a 4th generation recipe or something. I loved them. For entrees, I tried their lamp chops and they were the best I have had in a long time! They were cooked perfectly and tasted really good. I got mine well done. They come with side salad or soup, green beans and mash potatoes. They also serve fresh bread with oil before the entree, which was delicious. We also ordered the grouper tacos and they were quite unique. They come on a naan and side of waffle fries. Tasted very good. Overall, the food was great and arrived pretty quickly. The server was very pleasant and funny. He didn't try to push anything, very relaxed to try to limited time only chicken blonde gumbo. I did and here we go... It. Was. Fantastic! I've never had a gumbo quite like this. It was not salty, had fries okra, and the chicken was tender and flavorful. The roux of the gumbo was definitely light but not so light it couldn't be called a gumbo. The steak, omg the steak! It was cooked perfectly! The mixed green veggies and mashed potatoes to go along with it were awesome! The salmon croquettes were lovely as well. I normally don't do dairy and fish but the cheese inside of them we're delectable. The beer and martini capped off nicely. Found this restaurant bar while looking for places to eat and work at while I was staying in PCB and I would highly recommend coming here for both food and drinks. Not only is their wifi available for customers, but their internet is super fast, making it a perfect work setting to eat and drink at. I have also had the opportunity to try a variety of their drinks and food menu items. On Wednesday's they offer $5 martini's from 5-8 PM and a unique drink of the day. When I came it was a cinnamon latte martini! On Saturday's they offer $15 bottomless mimosas all day. Trust me you don't want to miss out on this deal! Chuck, who has typically been my bartender, is extremely kind, attentive, and personable. His cocktails are delicious and he gives great recommendations on what to eat. I was also able to meet the co-owner, Jay, he is very friendly with all his customers and takes a lot of pride in his restaurant. Cocktails (5/5) Tons of options. Homemade Meatballs (5/5) Super flavorful. Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna (3/5) Given the option to have blackened, grilled, or raw. Don't care for this item too much. Cute little place. I probably wouldn't have stopped but someone recommended it and I'm glad I did. We started with a glass of wine (very generous pour) and the mussels. They were cooked perfectly with garlic, spinach, tomatoes and cheese. One friend had the rib eye which was delicious; another had the grouper which was eh.....I had the chicken and waffles and WOW it was fabulous. The service was slow but it was very busy so I'll cut some slack. I'll go back and do recommend giving it a try. read more
