We took a 20 minute drive to get here and originally I thought I would regret it. Honestly... I wouldn't have minded a 40 minute drive. The waitress was the perfect mix of bubbly and professional and offered to help with things before we could think to ask. The food was great in presentation and better in taste. Everything was cooked well and had great texture. The menu items complement each other very well. If I had to recommend one thing it would be the mahi mahi tacos. I've eaten my fair share of tacos in the past but when you dip them in the tartar sauce and take a bite it feels like everything around you gets drowned out and overridden my the taste and feel. The vibe of the restaurant was pretty pleasant and also made for a pretty pleasant experience. The one thing I will say is that the wait was a little long but we were there pretty late and ordered a lot of food so that is to be expected. 5 stars. read more

What a great meal we had at C level. It came recommended to us from people we met at another spot, and they said it was the best meal they've had in the area. We were happy they took reservations, and were able to accommodate a party of ten at dinner time. We were sat on time, and quickly greeted by our waiter. We ordered food- apps came out quickly, there was a long delay between apps and salads, and then meals came very quickly after salads. That's my only complaint from the evening- spacing food out better (some people in our party hadn't finished their salad prior to meals arriving). We had pickle chips for our app. They were crispy, and had a nice dill taste. Could have used some more ranch as my only critique. The salad was with romaine lettuce which was different than most places, and the balsamic dressing was pretty run of the mill. For my main, I had the blackened prime rib. Definitely some of the best prime rib I've had, and had a nice flavor to it. The mashed potatoes were average- nothing to write home about. Came in with a party of 8 and unfortunately had a pretty bad experience. Apparently the kitchen gave my dish to another table by mistake, so the rest of my group got their food while I sat there waiting another 15 minutes by myself. Mistakes happen, but what really bothered me was the server's attitude afterward, there was no apology and they came across as rude and sassy when I asked about it. I understand restaurants get busy, but basic communication and customer service go a long way. Definitely left a bad impression. read more

We had a party of 10 and our waiter was young, stated he was on the job for only 1 and half months and it showed. He made the experience uncomfortable, we ordered cocktails, and we had about 30 minutes until happy hour ended, so he kept pushing more cocktailsand kept repeating that we saved $38 on the first round, it became annoying. We're there to enjoy ourselves, eat a good meal but this waiter kept coming back pushing more drinks. As far as the food, the Grouper was dry, the cole slaw was warm but the coconut shrimp appetizer was good. The others in the group said the fish tacos were good. The waiter was so annoying that I actually told him I wasn't going to tip him, which I never do, I usually give waiters the benefit of the doubt and I'm always a decent tipper. Unfortunately due to the size of our party, the tip was included on the bill, an $80 tip and a $500 total bill on mediocre food, needless to say we will never return. read more

"Friends don't let friends eat at franchises". I was nervous to step away from the usual Panama City spots, but all my worries were put to rest with this stop in at C Level. They took reservations which was a great surprise (most of the beach spots don't!). Our first surprise was when the waitress went out of her way to get a member of our party a gluten free dinner roll when she happened to overhear she was gluten free -- this really made the visit special. The food was delicious. We ordered the ribeye, the tuna steak, and the fish and chips. We all ate our plates clean. The Parmesan fries were a great side dish! We will definitely be back! read more

Allie the waitress was wonderful. The Mahi and Grouper were delicious albeit a little small in portion size. The crab cakes were also very good, with lots of crab meat. The triple tail was UTTERLY tasteless. Zero flavor! I can't even say it tasted bad, because it didn't taste like anything! I've never had fish like that. I don't know how they prepared it, but I certainly didn't eat it. Also, I only took one bite of the fish before sending it back. I would have ordered something else, but the manager refused to take it off our bill saying nothing was wrong with it. She even sent it back out with a cup of some type of sauce to pour over it to make it palatable to me. BTW, that was third person to handle that plate. Overall my experience at c-level PCB was bad enough that I wouldn't return even if they offered me a free meal. I wouldn't be able to trust the managing personnel. My wife and I were in Panama City for a long weekend and wanted to eat seafood. We had been to another local place that was good, but wanted to try a different place. Read a few reviews on Yelp and looked at the menu and decided C Level was our next adventure. The hostess had very little personality, but took our name and stated it would be about 15 minutes. We sat at the bar and waited. Looking around it's almost like two different vibes - one by the bar (more casual) and the rest of the restaurant (little more dressy). Taking our seats the server was fantastic and described the specials but bragged on most everything. We settled on the C Platter - Grouper, Flounder, shrimp and a cluster of snow crab legs. Then there are two sides to pick. We selected the fresh green beans and Brussels sprouts. First, the vegetables are amazing. Delicious and savory with plenty on the plate. Both fish were delicious, the snow crab legs also didn't disappoint. The house made tarter and cocktail sauce were really tasty themselves. All in we came in just under $100 but man it was worth it. There was a lot of food on the plate and all of it was delicious. I'd go back tomorrow. read more

I'm not someone who normally writes reviews, but the service experience was disappointing enough that I felt it was worth mentioning. I hope management looks into it because the food itself showed potential. Atmosphere: The restaurant was fairly busy when we arrived, with most tables in use. If you didn't have a reservation, it looked like the wait time would probably be around 5-15 minutes. Luckily, we arrived at the right time and a table had just opened up, so we were seated immediately. One thing that stood out to me was the popcorn ceiling--it's not something you see very often anymore, so it caught my attention. Service: Our server's name was Amanda. From the start, the interaction felt uncomfortable. She made very little eye contact and her body language suggested she might have been in a bad mood or dealing with something. At first I wondered if I was overthinking it, but when our sides arrived it became more noticeable. Instead of gently placing the plate on the table, she seemed to toss it down when it was still a few inches above the surface. It came across as somewhat aggressive. I mentioned it to my coworker to get his opinion in case I was misreading the situation, but he felt the same way and thought the behavior seemed passive-aggressive. We couldn't really understand why. We were both in town long-term for work supporting Air Force exercises and had been eating at local restaurants every night rather than chains. We try to be respectful guests wherever we go, especially since we both understand what working in the service industry can be like. As dinner continued, I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and assumed maybe she was just having a rough day. However, I noticed that when she interacted with other tables she appeared much more upbeat and friendly. When she returned to ours, the demeanor immediately changed again--no smile, minimal engagement, and very little eye contact. Over time it became distracting enough that we both just wanted to finish the meal and leave. It honestly put me in a negative headspace and made the overall experience feel uncomfortable. Food: We both ordered the prime rib, which was good overall. It was slightly on the salty side, but still enjoyable since I was pretty hungry. For sides, I had coleslaw and cornbread bites. The cornbread bites were excellent--light, flaky, and very enjoyable. The coleslaw, on the other hand, wasn't great. It was soggy and had a very strong flavor that didn't work well for me. Overall: I'd rate the restaurant 2/5. The food had some positives, but the service significantly impacted the overall experience. I'm generally pretty easygoing and not very picky--being an Army veteran, you learn to make the best of situations rather than complain. Still, the service here made the experience uncomfortable enough that it overshadowed the meal. That said, I'm in the area several times a year for work supporting exercises, so maybe I'll give it another chance in the future. But based on this visit alone, it wasn't a great experience. read more

I have dined at c level 3 times now and each time the food has been incredible. The grouper nuggets are 100% the best you'll find around here. Large nuggets with not too much breading and yummy homemade tartar sauce to dip. Yum!! When I want crab legs this is my go to place. They are always well prepared and good sized crab legs. And served with 2 sides! The truffle fries and Brussels sprouts are my favorite sides. The service here for me has been hit or miss. In the past I have had issues with the food taking too long to come out but this is one of the better restaurants in the area so it's worth it to me. read more

We wanted to seat at the bar but there was no room, so another patron offered to scoot over and made room for us to pull up two more bar stools and seat at the bar. Cocktails were great, creative and tasty. The bartender was really busy also making cocktails for the restaurant, but we never felt completely ignored. She could have used some help. Oh my goodness we had such a wonderful dinner. I had the ribeye with Brussels sprouts and green beans it was fabulous. My husband had fish tacos. SIL had crab cakes and trussel potatoes and BIL had grouper and grits he probably would have licked the bowl. And we had the berry salad so good. Our server Sarah never let our drinks go empty and was on top of ever need. We ordered key lime pie it was wonderful and cheesecake it was ok but wow such a great dining experience. 10/10 read more
