Max's Bar & Grill ended up being one of the best bars we've visited down here! The staff were amazing -- super attentive, friendly, and happy to answer all of our questions. You could tell they really cared about making sure everyone had a good experience. I was really craving wings, so I ordered the Buffalo Dry Rub Wings. These were some of the best wings I've had on the beach! They were cooked perfectly, had great flavor, and had that perfect crunch. I'd highly recommend giving them a try. And of course, the beer was nice and cold, which is exactly what we needed after being out on the water all morning! Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back the next time we're down here. Great food, cold beer, and an awesome staff -- what more could you ask for?

No fish of the day, etc.... The biggest problem with this place is the menu is mostly limited to chicken sandwiches and burgers. Not a lot of variety. As locals, we've visited quite a few restaurants in the area, and this one truly stands out. First, Sandy provided excellent service -- friendly, attentive, and made our entire experience even better. We had the Starliner, and the flavor was outstanding! The gravy was easily some of the best we've had -- rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. We also tried the Lighter Selection dinner, featuring their famous Brussels sprouts tossed in hot honey and voodoo sauce, paired with blackened shrimp and green beans. WOW! Completely out of this world. The combination of sweet, spicy, smoky flavors was incredible. And then there's the tap selection! We have honestly never seen anything quite like it. All the games, including pinball, are set to free play, which is nice. However, it costs $15 to get in. Similar places like this I've been to in other towns are free to get into. Although the free pinball was nice, most other places make you pay for pinball. This is a fun spot for sure!
