There was only ONE guy working there and this guy alone is why this place gets a high rating. Taking orders, cooking food that was hot and fresh, all while managing the drive thru. This was my first time at a Guthrie's and I'll be back. Clean restaurant, friendly staff, quick service considering everything was hot and fresh. The Guthrie's sauce is really nice. I wish I could let you get a whiff of the deliciousness! We drank water and each had the box. Everything was cooked to perfection. They have ketchup, salt, and pepper on the table along with a napkin dispenser so you don't have to get up multiple times (if you are a slightly messy eater like I can be). For our party, this was our first time trying Guthrie's. The only chicken finger chain that we were familiar with was Cane's of Louisiana. Pros: Loved the crinkled cut fries. They were huge. Good service -- short wait and nice and friendly folks behind the counter Cons: For me, their sauce was just Ok. Chicken fingers while served hot and not dry, I didn't like their batter. i'm not gon lie i called guthries and i've never been there and the guy that answered was a w mans, i was looking for a place with tacos, because taco bell was closed, so i called a few places and then i got to guthries and the guy that answered the phone didn't get mad but he did his job and told me what yall did have and now imma come and get some chicken because of him. The chicken fingers themselves are good. The thick cut crinkle fries taste bland and seem undercooked. They are soft, limp and tasteless honestly. The coleslaw is nothing special either. I was expecting the limited menu to mean they only do a few things but they do them amazingly. That's not the case unfortunately. The Texas bread is so lightly toasted, It's just lightly toasted on one side & still bread on the other. Disappointing. The signature sauce is pretty forrgettable too. So I was frankly disappointed, I'll keep getting my chicken fingers elsewhere. read more

I got exactly what I came for and it was quick, as per usual. Taste like the Guthries I've always ate. Consistent. Classic. Good.

This is probably the best chicken finger place in town. The simplicity of the menu is amazing (chicken only). If you like raising canes, it is just like it. The price is a bit higher here ( you don't get a drink with your meal) but if you can get over that the food I great. The customer service is pretty awesome ( I saw them give away two different free full sized samples to two different customers because they wouldn't know how it would taste). Thea restaurant was very clean. Overall great experience, will be visiting at least once a year. read more

The coleslaw was just so-so. The Toasted bread was OK. As for their signature sauce mediocre at best. The icing on the non-memorable cake was the charge for water, even when buying a meal! Not very goood. I know it's still new, but a bit overpriced especially a regular sweet tea at $2.25. Not to mention when I got my chicken box the chicken was soggy, like it was made up and sitting for a while. Additionally the Coleslaw has a good flavor, but it was hot like it had been sitting in the box with hot chicken for an hour. Also not very many options on the menu which i expected. I don't think it's gonna make it long wIth this type of product and prices, compared to Zaxbys around the corner. read more
