During our last visit to Hardee's inside Love's Travel Stop in Missoula, Montana, a select few employees created unnecessary calamity during what was meant to be a simple family dinner. We placed our order and experienced an unusually long wait for the meal to be prepared. When the delay extended beyond what was reasonable, we approached an employee to inquire about the issue. We were informed that there were ongoing problems in the kitchen related to staff-to-customer ratio during high traffic, as well as faulty equipment that was not functioning properly, which had caused the delay. Although these issues were neither our direct nor indirect responsibility, we responded with patience and empathy. We understood that they were attempting to resolve the matter and communicated respectfully. However, during previous visits while traveling through Montana, we had already begun to notice a pattern at this location: repeated delays in ordering and inconsistent customer care. Under the impression that our food was being properly prepared, my family--including a young child--continued to wait patiently. After finally receiving our meal, we sat down in the Travel Stop diner area to eat. The food itself was neither remarkable nor memorable in quality. What became memorable was the aggressive and insolent conduct directed at my family while we were eating. At that point, a woman who identified herself as the manager on duty approached us. To this day, I am unsure whether she was employed directly by Hardee's or Love's Travel Stop. Regardless, her behavior was unprofessional, hostile, and deeply inappropriate. She ran toward our table at full speed and positioned herself towering over us while we were eating. My family members were startled and genuinely frightened. A young child in our group was visibly scared. This individual was loud, dramatic, and intent on creating a public scene. She made accusatory statements, misrepresented our character, and deliberately singled us out from the rest of the restaurant. She yelled at us to leave the diner. She proceeded to make derogatory remarks referencing our complexion and threatened to call the sheriff to have us removed. Law enforcement should never be used as a theatrical intimidation tactic against customers. Such threats reflect a misuse of authority and a severe lack of professionalism. The experience was not only disturbing--it was traumatic. We were subjected to hostility and racially charged aggression during what should have been a routine family meal. The most painful aspect of the incident was witnessing a child--my nephew--experience that level of hostility in a public space where he should have felt safe and welcomed. No family should endure that treatment while simply dining together. The conduct displayed by this individual, and by any others who enabled or participated in it, warrants serious review and accountability from both Hardee's and Love's Travel Stop management. This establishment must conduct a thorough internal investigation, implement corrective action, and ensure that no other patrons are subjected to similar treatment. Demolition is necessary. read more

I ordered a kids cheeseburger in addition to the rest of the order, which wasn't in the bag. I caught it before I drove away, so was able to get the burger before I left. Came home and noticed no ranch for the tiny 3-piece chicken tenders (more like chicken fingers, since that's the size they were!) wouldn't be terrible if the price for those weren't $5.29! The woman with the glasses that took our order was rude, and acted like we were a bother. My daughter double checked to see if she got our order right with the extra burger and the woman snapped at her. We got our food, only to find that our order was incorrect and short that same burger my daughter asked about. Terrible customer service! This is a big inconvenience because we are traveling with the baby that my hungry, postpartum daughter just gave birth to. We had to get on the road fast and were unable to go back in and get our burger that they shorted us. read more

We took the kids here tonight for burgers and had a great experience. This location is part of the Love's Travel Center and just opened up in the last couple weeks. This is a completely new building, so everything was spotless. As we walked in, we were greeted by a very pleasant cashier who took our order. Our food was hot and arrived to our table quickly. There were four of us total, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our not-so-healthy indulgence of fast food. I have zero complaints about the quality of the food. Actually, for being fast food, it was delicious! This was not our first time eating at a Hardee's, so we were hoping this location wouldn't disappoint, and it certainly did not. While we were eating, we overheard the manager telling the employees what a great job they had done during their shift. A few minutes later, he came to our table and asked us how our food was. That in itself makes this place worth every bit of the 4 stars I give it. read more

We haven't been eating out much lately, so when we do it is very disappointing when it is bad food. That was the case tonight at Hardee's. The burger was overcooked and dried out. There was one tiny slice of tomato, one tiny slice of onion, two pickle slices and wilted lettuce. Not very fresh! The fries were little tiny hard pieces like we got the bottom of the batch. My husband and I just ate here for the first time at this brand new location and it was terrible... we ordered the monster burger and curly fries. The burger had zero flavor and was completely saturated in grease. The bacon wasn't fully cooked (I'm sure it's precooked) but was very raw tasting. Had to take it off the burger. Whoever is slapping this food together is consistently angry or something. The manager needs to take a look at the garbage the kitchen is spitting out. Not cool for everyone else who is actually visible to the customer because they're super friendly and doing their job well. GET NEW KITCHEN STAFF! When this location first opened it was worth driving the 7 miles from Missoula to get a burger!!! Today I would not walk across the street to eat there if I was hungry and had a free burger coupon!!! There superiority of burger making no longer exist at this site; this is after giving them a half-dozen more visits trying to get a typical Hardee's burger! Despite having been in there more than a few times since opening and having a couple mistakes on sandwiches or order taking and corporate still needs to work out the kinks when people do those online surveys to buy one get one free sandwiches on back of receipts.i still enjoy going there and hoping that under loves truck stops ownership.all businesses involved including this place will do just fine and not let running this hardees location end up being like the last one that was in town that closed and turned into a Walgreens read more

The lady fulfilling my order was more concerned with her phone call than making sure I got the fries I paid for. I ordered two things and she missed half of my order.
