We stopped on our road trip home for a meal and shakes since it was so hot out. I would never stop at this location for an almost $5 shake again. It took at least 6 minutes for someone to come to the window and take the payment which was fine as I assumed we were getting fresh food. Once the bag was handed to us, the fries were cold, the shake was strawberry milk, nothing frozen about it. Absolutely unacceptable and we asked for it to be remade as it was liquid. The girl said we needed to go park to wait for one, again this wasn't a problem but there was no one in line behind us so it didn't make much sense. She then came out and brought the SAME shake out to us like we wouldn't notice but again it was just liquid and not frozen at all. We would never stop again read more

Everything was super fresh and very tasty. I wasn't expecting my bacon beast burger to be so big and heavy (compared to other fast food burgers). It was hot and fresh and served quickly. I wish there was a Hardee's by my hose. read more

I worked at 3 Hardees off and on as the chief biscuit maker and baker from 1979-1984 (10th grade through college) in Livonia, Howell and Ypsilanti. Those are all gone now, of course, but oh, how thrilled I was recently that a Hardee's opened only 6 miles from me. When we finally went, we got one of my favorites, the chocolate chip cookie (I was there back when it was introduced!) and delighted it was still the same. Flavor, texture, everything. You wish they sold 'em by the box. Backstage insider scoop: they are even better as uncooked donut-shaped ovals, right out of the freezer! ;-) The burgers just aren't as good as they used to be, however. I have always thought of Hardees as being vastly superior to all other fast food places. They were the first national fast food place with a chicken sandwich (sorry Chik-Fil-A...we know better) and I remember it was huge, epic, amazing. The batter was so good we would lovingly scoop the busted-off batter niblets from the oil and snack on them during our breaks. The burgers these days are smaller, drier and kind of give you a tummy ache later. Could just be me but I was not happy with them. The fries are not great. They weren't hot and fresh. We really prided ourselves on the quality of the fries and the bacon. In 1984, we referred to our bacon (at the Livonia location) as 'gnarly' bacon (the original meaning of the word, which means 'awesome'), cooked to a crispy perfection...bacon that melts in your mouth and snaps when you bend it. The bacon was raw, rubbery and nasty. I threw it into the parking lot to waiting birds. I will be back to try my beloved biscuits eventually. I like how they are in my mind- just perfection, with a lofty, light texture and buttery flavor, lightly tanned on top. I hope they are like that now. read more

I can't believe this Hardee's doesnt have any reviews yet. I guess I'll be the first. First of all they're fresh everytime I come there. Burgers are amazing and not over seasoned. Fries are good and even the drinks are good (maybe they replenish it often). I live in Ann Arbor but I come here all the time since its easy access and its right off the freeway. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal. In my opinion they are the best Hardee's in the Southeast Michigan area. Cheers. read more

Food was usual fast food. The biggest let down is they don't actually serve the full Hardee's menu. They are missing many of the great burgers that they are known for. Real let down but the food they do serve is decent. read more

Stopped in to give this new location a try on the way home. Ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger, fries, and talked me into apple pie. The fries were ok, could have been warmer. The mushroom Swiss burger was freaking great. Loved all the mushrooms on it. The apple pie was really good as well. Will definitely want to go here again. read more

I was super excited for Hardee's to come to Milan. While it is great, I think they're still learning how to cook the food. Service is insanely slow. Their burgers and fries are super delicious! If you don't mind waiting 10-15 minutes in the drive-thru to get your food, then come to Hardee's! read more

Stopped in last night to grab dinner on the way home from a very long day. The lady at the window was extremely rude, that is when she finally made it to the window! I politely asked once she opened up the window ( without as much as a"hello" from her) as she thrust her arm at me asking for payment. Could I change my order and add it as a meal? At that point she turned away from me with zero reply, a large huff and started talking to the person waiting to give there order. When I tried to say to her if it's to much trouble just never mind... she went off... about how many things she was doing and how she had to do this and that to fix my order( which I said again never mind if it too much trouble) the manager then came over and I repeated what I was asking to the manager and again she went off yelling about how she was doing this and that! They did correct my order BUT TO ADD INSULT to injury, I pulled away from the window and checked my bag only to find I was missing half my order! So, I went back, only this time I went inside, my order was no longer there so they remade my sandwich, I had asked for no bun. It was made right on the dirty metal counter, not on paper... not in a box...then the cook took his/her hand and wiped the counter off to clean up the mess made by making my lettuce sandwich !!! The manager basically threw the bag at me, no apology for the rude service or that they forgot my order!!! I told my husband I will NEVER RETURN, don't even ask me to pick up food from there!!! So many ways this could have been handled more appropriately by management! I recommend the BBQ pop up across from this place, better food better service! read more

I'm highly disappointed with the staff and management at the 14137 Plank rd Milan, Mi location... I was just told on feb 21st 2022 that my order was too big " 5 piece combo for my grandmother and a 10 piece for myself" the cashier told me that his manager placed a limit "10 piece per customer" unfortunately my request was unreasonable to the manager... if we can't buy 15 pieces of chicken strips total it should really be listed on the website so people don't have to drive 40 minutes for nothing. I give this place a one star... only because the cashier wasn't rude, and was doing what his manager said. Save your money and cook at home read more

I've honestly thought i've seen bad service before but this place was ridiculous. Me, my sister, and her family are driving out of state so we decided to stop for food. When we go to the drive thru the lady taking our order was very rude. She kept rushing us when I myself have never ate at Hardee's so I was trying to read the menu. In the middle of us ordering the lady tried to end the order interrupting us and just blurted out a total. Then we get the food and my 9 year old niece bites into her burger and it's still pink inside. Never eating here again. I'll be a "Karen" after this service. read more

The service was friendly and fast. However the fries and burgers ordered weren't warm, and they forgot to put straws in the bag.

The first time we went they completely missed one of my orders. I didn't realize it till I drove all the way home. I tried it again today. We decided to eat it on the way home. My burger was extremely salty. The onion rings were so hard that you literally couldn't eat them. I am beyond disappointed. I will not be going back to this establishment. read more
