I live local so I go here alot and this place is hit or miss. Unfortunately they are miss more than hit. They run out of things all the time like cups, fries, or even tonight lettuce. They forget your food, they forget your condiments, they give you wrong food, they short you on food, the food is dry and old never fresh . I want customer service to make a comeback! I'm tired of being a minority as someone who takes pride in their work and no matter how remedial the task I do it to the best of my ability. After experiencing a day I wish on nobody my appetite started to return. A jr. bacon cheese burger is what appealed to me. My kind hearted husband drove me to this location. As we pulled in I read the unlit Wendy's sign that said "drive thought open until 11". This was just past 9:00. He continued around to the speaker where the menu light had been turned off also. He patiently waited for a greeting that never came. It wasn't until he cleared his voice and asked hello multiple times did someone answer. He placed our orders, payed and picked up. We looked in our bag. Everything seemed to check out. WRONG! No straws for our drinks. Ice cold dried out frys, I ended up with a jr. burger not a jr. bacon cheese burger and I'm not even sure what burger my husband ended up with. Nevertheless they failed! I'm tired of excuses! After ordering it took well over 10 minutes t9 get our food. I upcharged my fry to a cheese fry. She tried to give me a regular get, i told her that was wrong and I needed a cheese get. She took it back and was gone for probably 5 more minutes. The lobby was completely trashed, there was still dirty trays on the tables, behind the counter was also a mess and the front counter worker was too busy talking to the guys in the kitchen. Coming from someone who works in the fast food business, this is uncalled for. Stopped here heading to a family reunion in Ohio. First of all, bathroom was a mess with no soap, the door on the paper towel holder wide open, and towel all over the floor. I mentioned it to the cashier, and she simply said they are all out of soap and had been for a while (isn't this where EMPLOYEES are supposed to wash their hands?!!) and that the door of the paper towel holder "just does that". So we ordered and that went fine. They have one of the fancy new soda machines where you can add flavour, which would be cool if they weren't out of every flavour I tried (including cherry and vanilla, which both seem like they would be kinda important to have). We left and ate in the car, my burger was fine, the chicken in my wife's sandwich had a really weird artificial texture and she couldn't finish it. It didn't look very good to me. The workers are extremely rude. I got 2 fries and 4 nuggets. the lady at the speaker was talking to me like i was stupid and she was arguing with me about what i wanted, when she finally understood what i was saying i pulled up to the window and they handed me my food. before i could say anything they slammed the window shut. so i drove away but i soon realized that i had received the 2 fried but NO nuggets, none. so i went through the line again and they had me pull forward away from the window. when the worker came out to give me my nuggets he had he head turned away from me the whole time and when i said thank you he rolled his eyes, turned around, and slammed the door shut. read more

After a few times visiting this Wendy's and 2 of those times being ripped off. I'm not extremely happy. The only thing I get is fries from this place. 1st mistake on their part was ordered a large French fries and received a medium. The next time, I ordered fries for the family to bring them back. $ 9.71 ok, gave $20.71. The young bean was about to give me change and didn't take my change just took my 20 and wasn't paying attention. Robot mode. Then he really needed to count the change multiple times and needed the manager to count and figure out what to do... which they gave me a 10. Math would be 11... granted it's only a dollar. Very inefficient. There were bunches of workers that were in the area for cooking, yet few were standing there and doing nothing. It took forever to get out order taken. The people in front of us just gave up and went to a different place to eat. One couple ended up waiting a while until they got their food. The two ladies working up front I felt were the only ones working and getting the orders done. They were walking around getting orders done for the drive thru and walking around the kitchen while other workers were sitting on their butts doing nothing. I went to Wendy's in Dundee, MI, tonite for a frosty. A woman said "Just a moment" over the speaker, and then I sat there at least 2 minutes before she took my order. When I pulled up to the window, I saw she had no mask and no gloves. She touched her greasy face, then touched the frosty container to fill it, then put the lid on. When she handed it to me, I said, "Aren't you required to wear gloves and a mask?" She whined, "I haven't had time to put them on--I just got back from break." (This was at 10 p.m., 6/27/20, and she was Caucasian and had had longer dark hair and glasses.) I happened to see crew members behind her, and they didn't appear to be wearing gloves or a mask either, but I am only 80% certain on that, as they passed by quickly. Anyway, I am used to going to McDonalds and seeing people with gloves and masks and more sanitary conditions, and I will not be back to this Wendy's. read more

Fries were cold and old. Asked for fresh fries but didn't receive them until we were done with sandwiches. Fresh fries were not fresh. Were not able to eat them. So my friends and I were driving up to camp in Michigan and we needed a good dinner, so we stopped at Wendy's perceiving this was the best option in the area, WRONG. So there was a bunch of us that filed in quickly, at first a herd of hungry, stampeding teenagers is a pretty frightening sight, so I'll give them that, but could not handle it. So I was one of the first in line and ordered my food promptly and one of my friends small orders since he came in late, nothing wrong yet. So I go to get my drink to sip on whilst I wait and when I get back to the counter there were angry customers who were there before us and arguing with them because they had been waiting forever and forgetting food, at that point I was worried. There was a saint named Paul who happened to be the manager that had such a calm demeanor and had such a soothingness to him that I thought I was being talked to by butter, he told us how they were understaff because people did not show up to work, please Wendy's if you're reading this do not punish this man by keeping him at this establishment give him a corporate job. Although I feel like he was being held at gunpoint while the rest of the workers were betting money on their poker playing dogs. So I notice my meal receipt which told them what to get was sitting next to the register while the receipts before me were being filled on the counter so I thought I was next, makes sense right? Well to them I guess not, I seemingly waited whilst others behind me got food and my receipt stayed there, so it took me to politely say that, "I think you overlooked my receipt" which promptly got a snobbish remark from the inhospitable "hostess" named Cayla saying "hold on" in the snarkiest tone, then I got a little frustrated, but they did then start filling my order. I went over to talk to my friends who were sitting when my one friend called me back over thinking my order was ready, I in a jokingly manner said towards him, "where is my food"? Then Cayla thinking that it would be very appropriate to act like she was from Jersey said, "Well it obviously not on the tray" as if she was a wealthy Jersey widow who thought only her remarks mattered and enjoyed every second of your anger. Once I turned around laughing to my friends knowing at that moment this was getting a review, my friend told me that she rolled her eyes at me as if she made bank and earned every penny of her moped and thought I was some stuck up teenager that had earned absolutely nothing which as a matter of fact I had a better paying job at 16 than she did at 30, but this is about Wendy's not socioeconomics and politics. So I finally got my order but I was scared to death that she spit in it from what I deemed it appeared safe but I'm writing this article almost immediately afterwards so I may not be around to write a fourth review. It took her about 45 minutes to an hour to get through 20 people which might be a world record for slowest ever. It was so slow that some of my friends were at the back of the line realized how slow it was so they hopped out, ran across the street, ordered a full meal at McDonald's, came back and ate it before the last person was finished. And after other rough stories which will take years to elaborate, I will tell the one to highlight the night. Cayla, the "hostess", accused us of stealing 50 one dollar bills, first off who in their sane mind keeps 50 one dollar bills in the cash register second off how would we have gotten away with reaching over the counter either unlocking the register or reaching in there when it was open when usually someone is standing right next to it. When actually she hid it under the counter I'm pretty sure trying to steal it to feed her dog's gambling addiction, and then I watched her bend over and pick it up from under the counter saying, "oh look here it is." Also they could not find time to refill the soda machine where the good half of drinks were out. So all in all I felt disrespected, malnourished, and no respek on my name. read more
