We stopped here while on a road trip. We'd stayed in a hotel right up the road and we wanted a good hearty breakfast. I grew up in Virginia, so Hardee's Breakfast Biscuits are something that I've always loved, and while we have Carl's Jr in our market, and I can get some Hardee's Breakfast Biscuits there, they don't have the ones that I like the very best. This Hardee's location did though so I got the Steak Biscuit and an Ultimate Omelet Biscuit which made me happy as a man could be. I took a walk down memory lane and had a great breakfast. This place is obviously a meeting place for a group of senior citizens because they had a whole part of the restaurant sectioned off. I was right at home in my peer group. The staff was jumping through hoops to accommodate your every request. They had 2 managers on duty running the crew like a finely oiled machine. Great service and fantastic food. read more

Stopped to gas up while traveling and decided to eat. Excellent choice. These folks were friendly and fast. Quality of food was the best I have seen in a fast food restaurant in a very long time. Biscuit was hot, fresh and soft. Eggs were fluffy and hot. Hash rounds were hot and crispy. Sausage gravy was hot and creamy. Everything was just right. Even though it was raining, the crew kept the floors mopped and dry. I would stop here again if I was driving on Interstate 40. read more

Might as well close overnight if you're just paying hood rats to tell people the drive through is closed and to ignore people that come in and ask if you're open. Could have at least lied and told me you were closed instead of looking at me and dipping into the back. Wonderful place!! Located inside the loves truck stop, this hardees has no drive thru. However the ordering process was just as fast as if there were one. Myeshia (I may have spelled that wrong) was absolutely wonderful. She was working her tail off up front making sure every customer had everything they needed. The food also was delicious! After going to this location for years I went in this morning and ordered my normal bisquits and gravy. I also asked for a cup for water. The girl at the register informed me they were charging $.50 for a cup of water. I'm done. Figuring I went in there twice a week and spent on average $10.00 a trip that $.50 just cost you $1040.00 over the next year. Hope you enjoy your proceeds from that $.50. read more

Picked up breakfast. The restaurant was reset completely 4 years ago. It appeared to have an additional 2020 COVID-19 reset as well. The restaurant had all of the 2020 items: separated checkers, plexiglass, spacing signs and wearing of gloves and masks by workers. I didnt see a mask required sign, but I went through the Love's Truck Stop door in. Nothing out on the counters except the drink taps and the tea tap. Napkins, condiments and straws are to be gotten from the service counter. The food was good. I had the prime rib biscuit with egg and my wife had the bacon, egg cheese biscuit. The egg was a fresh fried egg, which is something new. They do still have the folded scrambled eggs as well. I got a cinnamon. roll which also seems new (I guess this replaces the raisin biscuits). The place appeared very clean. Most of the business was takeout. They have an expansive menu of breakfast options. People were friendly. The area visible behind the counter was very clean. Food is horrible. The beef that is supposedly "all natural" doesn't even get cooked in the store. It is manufactured at some kind of factory where it is cooked, stamped, has grill marks, processed, frozen, and only God knows what all else. It is only reheated from frozen in the store with a gas flame automatic conveyor oven. What is the big deal about grass fed? A cow can be called grass fed if it eats grass once. Besides, how to they get grass in the winter? I got news for you. Grass ain't growing in the winter and they ain't eating it. Besides, they shit in the grass anyway, then they eat it. Since the USDA repealed its standards for the "grass fed" designation, is this actually important for the consumer? Unless the label is AMS and FSIS approved, there's no way to be sure what you're buying. But since now there is absolutely no standard, it would be very convenient for a business to legally make false claims. Perfect timing for this marketing campaign. What is up with this "all natural" marketing campaign? Anytime an animal grows, it is natural because it is a living organism, so that don't mean a damn thing. Then it says right there that only the beef is natural. I guess the lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and they rest of it are artificial. Gross. What is up with this Kentucky beer cheese?
