1/2 star should be an option. The sign in the restaurant says everything is made to order. I can not eat sesame seeds, so I asked the lady at the register to give me two bottom buns on my burger. She politely said management does not allow them to that. So I had to settle for an underwhelming dry hot dog while my friend snacked on what a looked like a great burger. I won't be coming back. Five Guys needs to think more about for a customer service. $16.52 was wasted on this order. read more

Stopped in last night for a great burger and fries. They aren't usually busy but they were. They had a bus. A basketball team but when I walked in I assumed they had ordered and was eating. So i ordered. The guy was nice. As I looked around after ordering realized the team had not gotten their food yet, they were working on the order. No rush I was okay with it as long as I knew my food would be fresh. I had a wait but nothing ridiculous. My food was good and fries were hot. I would just like to commend the staff last night for acknowledging my wait time. They checked in with me several times to let me know they were working on my order, gave me a cup to get a drink I did not order and added extra fries in my bag. I just would like to say THANK YOU! Again to Cannon I think was the young man name and the other two guys working to get orders filled while still giving great customer service. Quality customer service is a big deal now days because it is so hard to get. Again I appreciate these young men. Job well done! read more

I am allergic to sesame seeds. Every Give Guys I've been to can put a burger on a hot dog bun, or provide two bottom buns. NOT THIS ONE! New rules, they cannot accommodate anyone with sesame allergies or problems ingesting seeds. Absolutely unacceptable treatment of customers with any food issues, especially considering their high prices. I hope this is not a chain-wide decision. read more

My apathy for food establishments grows every day. Really not sure why we decided to stop at the 5 Guys in Jackson but is was no different. The apathy of team members permeates the air. When i found the catsup (ketchup?) empty and notified the girl behind the counter, she flared t me for a few seconds, reached into a box from under the counter, and effectively tossed a few handfuls in my general direction. I'm perfectly aware of staffing shortfalls but there really isn't an excuse for this type of attitude. More reason to just eat at home. 3 bad experiences in a row at a 5 guys...they are officially off my list. As a comparison, we are at an In-and-Out yesterday. While I realize the need for patience in this day & age, patience wasn't what was needed to endure this travesty of a meal. We ordered a meal for a family of four through Door Dash. The Door Dash portion of the transaction went flawlessly. (Try them-they're fantastic!) However, despite ordering carefully on line, four of four hot dogs had no condiments (ordered with onions, relish, and mustard). One bacon cheeseburger had only cheese, a huge amount of mayonnaise, and nothing else. The veggie sandwich was left completely out. The three orders of fries arrived in brown paper bags with large grease spots. The cups they were in were overturned and apparently someone at the restaurant had just thrown another order of fries on top. In fact, there were more fries outside of the cups than inside. Food was greasy, shoddily packaged, and just not good. That earns them a single, solitary star. It should have been no stars. I can see why this chain, as a whole, isn't doing well financially. read more

The first time I came to this establishment, my food was awful! The fries were so dark and crispy and the burger could've had a gallon of grease squeezed out of it. After making my complaint known, the manager reached out with a refund and a free meal voucher. I came back just now and utilized the voucher, to give them a second chance because the only other five guys I had been to in Murfreesboro, TN was phenomenal. I waited almost 30 min for a bacon burger and regular fries. The burger was buried under fresh hot fries, which wouldn't have been such a bad thing to have fresh fries but I burned my hand trying to get the stupid burger out. I'm so upset right now that I honesty don't even have an appetite to eat this garbage! Never coming back to this establishment. You're better off with McDonald's. They're cheaper too. Soon as I walked in I realized this wasn't the place for us- we aren't burger people... Or if we eat burgers we usually eat specialty ones like at Hueys... I thought this place was like a Huey's but it's more like a Moe's. You can add whatever toppings from a list- a Build Your Own Burger place. No chicken options but they had vegetarian options. Anyway, hubby got a Bacon Cheeseburger and I got a Cheeseburger and they were huge. If I ever find myself here again I need to get the single patty not the double patty. Also the large fries are meant to serve three but didn't. Pretty much at the end of the meal we both were full but there just wasn't any flavor to any part of the meal. Today was my first time at 5 Guys! The service was excellent as was the food. The burger was cooked perfectly and was hot and fresh. The fries were awesome. They were plentiful, hot and cooked to perfection. I noticed the help wanted signs stating wage ranges. it did seem a little pricey for the food but I'm willing to pay more for great food and fairly compensated employees. read more

Five Guys is working its way across the country, and we finally have one in Jackson as of 8/16/12. The fries are second only to Arthur Bryant's Barbecue in Kansas City, and better than any fries I've had in the south. The reviews are correct. This is good eats. The only reason to take them down a notch is no kids meals. You really should be able to get a kiddie combo for under $5. Otherwise, great food. read more

I love this place. They specialize in burgers and that's about it. They offer free peanuts which is unusual but really cool. The meat is excellent quality, but I just don't like the fries. A lot of people do, but I think they are just way to greasy. They've got a great choice of condiments to put on your food which is pretty awesome. Even their hot dogs are delicious. read more

This is a typical 5 Guys. If you've never had one, you should give them a try if you like burgers and fries. I eat the small burger, which means it has a single patty. Hamburgers have 2 patties. The burgers came out hot, and the fries were nice and crisp. I only gave this 3 stars because the patties were overcooked (but not greasy!), my husband's sautéed onions were cold. We think they were cooked and put to the side too soon before the burgers were cooked. The other strike was the overly loud music. It ran us out the second we were through eating. read more

I want to give 5 stars but I just can't. The food is always good. The proportions are ridiculously large lol but every single time I go in there it is always FREEZING cold! Apparently I'm not the only one that noticed. I also read a similar review on Facebook and heard other people saying how it was freezing in there. We tried to eat outside but it wasn't well maintained. Umbrellas werent connected and the sun was too harsh to eat without it. That's really my only complaint. I get it. You're standing over a grill. I inadvertently forgot my purse on the back of the chair and didn't notice it for 10 minutes. When I called, they had already secured it behind the counter. I love 5 Guys but this location on this day was bad. We waited 20 minutes to get our burger and mine was wrong. Plus it was cold! I have no idea how it managed to get cold when it was put onto the bun directly from the grill then went right to our hands. I've been to a handful of different Five Guys over a dozen times and this was by far the longest I've had to wait and the first time my burger has been wrong.
