I'm convinced it's baked by angels who clock in part-time just to bless humanity. The way they ask "what toppings?" like I have emotional stability to make that kind of decision? Thrilling. Terrifying. Powerful. And don't even get me started on the sandwich artists. ARTISTS. I watched someone stack lettuce with the precision of a brain surgeon and the passion of someone on a cooking show finale. My sandwich wasn't made--it was crafted. DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE SMELL! It was so very good Every bite was like a flavor explosion doing backflips in my mouth. I went in hungry and came out questioning everything I've ever eaten before. Five stars. Ten stars. Infinite stars. If loving Subway is wrong, I don't want to be right.

It's a typical Wisconsin bar with a small space in the back for a pool table and a possible dance floor/live music setup. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. We were staying in Iron Mountain, Michigan and the drive was only about 20 minutes to get here. The service was friendly, the locals were friendly, and the area is very much "Up Nort". The menu advertised a cold brew coffee, but what was served appeared to be simply chilled brewed coffee rather than true cold brew. Additionally, the drink contained a noticeable amount of coffee grounds near the end, which was disappointing. The quiche was also underwhelming, as it lacked the flavor I had anticipated. When I asked for hot sauce to enhance the dish, I was informed that the café had run out. The baristas did not appear particularly engaged or welcoming. Although the café has a clean, comfortable environment with great potential, improvements to beverage quality, food preparation, and customer service would make for a much better experience.
