The food was good, the service is slow this place is a mess. The bathrooms were disgusting. To the urinals are out of order with urine in them. just a couple of the comments, bring your food, new ketchup, condiments. They're behind the counter so you have to wait for someone to bring the ketchup. And then when they bring it to you, they bring it to Litel packs. Why not leave it out where people can get what they want. Wanted root beer, but needed to be changed and you're too busy to change it . Ended up with a Sprite and the only thing that I can think is that the ice filter needs to be changed because it tastes dirty. So I'm drinking a drink with no ice. read more

Stopped here for lunch on a Tuesday. Waited for 4 minutes at the counter with no acknowledgment from the staff..Apparently the way they deal with being busy is to expedite the drive through service and ignore the dining room. No words were spoken. To the staff with the multi colored hair it would have been appreciated to have been acknowledged with a "be with you shortly". Instead she glanced over her shoulder several times while typing on her screen I guess with the hopes that we would disappear. Mission accomplished. read more

This Hardee's is very consistent , they will screw up your order on a regular basis. If you complain they offer a correction but not follow through. This location basically sucks. read more

We asked to dine in and were given a number to place on the table. Others around us were served their food from the employees on a tray. Our number called, and we went up to the counter to collect our food in a bag. The food was underwhelming. But we felt insulted to be treated this way. Highly disgraceful! read more

Hardee's in Hancock is very overpriced. The food is alright if you can get it fresh. They tend to make burgers ahead of time and let them sit in pans in the back so you think you are getting a fresh made burger, but think again. They do offer some "meal boxes" currently for $5.00. That's the best value right now if you are going to stop. read more

Excellent food. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Clean dining area. The drive through can be a bit slow at times (we once had to pull forward & wait 15 minutes for our small, 2-person order). Overall, it's definitely worth eating there. Plus they have $5 grab bags, which feed both my husband & I. The portions are good. You can easily customize your order (I prefer the sourdough bread for my roast beef sandwiches) and they've never upcharged us to do that. They also have outdoor tables for when the weather is nice. The only negative is that they discontinued carrying pretzel buns & their midnight moonshine burgers. read more

This is not me being picked or not understanding that current conditions don't always allow for our best. This was just really bad. My burger came with catchup on it and that is it. No lettuce or tomato or onions. Just meat and catchup between buns. I ordered an original cheese burger with no mayo. This was the worst burger. It isn't that they ran out of lettuce, tomato or onion. My husband and child's burgers both had them on it. This was just a lack of paying attention. There was almost no one inside and all they had to do was service the drive through. Terrible! read more

The food isn't a problem. The ambience isn't a problem. The service, is the problem. Before we even stepped foot in the restaurant my fellow traveller said, "Hardee's is notoriously slow." We chuckled, eager to bite into a Frisco burger. The parking lot was full but we figured it couldn't be too bad. The cashier took our order in decent time. And then we proceeded to wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. Again, I'll admit that the place was busy but I'll add this disclaimer - most of the people were already seated and eating. There were two orders ahead of us and maybe one or two people waiting at their tables for food plus the drive thru. The crew ran around like chickens with their heads cut off. The cashier (who I assume was also the manager given his uniform) stood around bewildered by the mess. Even after there were no more orders to take the cashier/manager stood at the register with a dumb look on his face, unable to register what the frantic blinking of the order display meant. For a short time it was amusing - "Looks like Hardee's puts the FAST in fast food eh?" ha ha. But then it grew tiresome. There was no direction, no supervision, no management. The crew did whatever seemed most prudent at the time, order be damned. There were at least three people at a time waiting expectantly under the heating lamp for their orders to be filled - each person set on touching each individual item of food, removing from this bag and placing it in another. It was almost comical, like some sort of Three Stooges fast food routine. Eventually the cashier/manager got tired of leaning on the counter and thought it prudent to sort things out in the grill so he left the register unattended. By this point we had hit the 20 minutes of waiting mark and my fellow traveller was prepared to ask for a refund and head on down the street in search of better service. We decided to stay, if for no other reason than the nightmare that would ensue waiting for the incompetent crew to issue a refund. Multiple times the crew called back to the grill, asking for a Frisco burger without tomatoes (one of ours). The grill must have made at least three by the time the crew got it right. By then another 10 minutes had passed and our patience was threadbare. The order finally came up and we took it. There was no apology for the wait, just an inquiry as to whether or not we needed sauces. On the way out the door we warned people that were just entering to go somewhere else. Whether or not the warning was heeded is unknown. In the car we discovered that our order was (surprisingly) not completely screwed up but half the food was cold and the other half piping hot. This was not a good fast food experience - perhaps not the worst I've ever endured but certainly bad enough that I decided to sign up for a Yelp account and warn others away. read more

This was a very nice Hardee's. We hit up the drive thru on Christmas Eve and the staff was surprisingly cheerful. The line moved quickly. Our order was ready quickly and just as ordered, with hot fries and everything. 18$ for two fast food meals seemed a bit pricey, but it is what it is. I look forward to trying their breakfast biscuits. read more

we were at Hardees in Hancock Md on Sept 14,2019 at 5:30 pm..We were the only ones in the restaurant. Took us 10 min to be waited in, no paper towels in the mens room, no catsup in the catsup dispenser, no ice tea in the soda area, ice tea at the counter had no flavor, Employees were discussing someone's dad's mother??? Hardee's has what they bill as "Big Bag Lunch". It has a selection of two each various sandwiches that you pick, an comes with a decent portion of fries, a medium soda, an two cookies. We got the roast beef & they rivaled Arby's for sure. The fries out does Mc D's, and the cola drink was cold...two BIG BAG LUNCH'S for a total with tax of just $10.50 for us both. After eating I just had to let Hardee's of Hancock know they did a great job! Yelp!!! read more

I don't understand the negative reviews about this restaurant that I've read here. I had a wonderful experience and I would come back here all the time if I lived in the area. I came to Hancock for a birthday party and after driving for 2 hours I pulled in for a quick bite. Everyone who works here was so friendly and acted like they really cared. Fast food in the DC area where I'm from is not a great experience and the staff generally just goes through the motions and rarely makes eye contact. At this Hardee's it was not like a fast food place at all. A nice man took my order and he was friendly and personable. I ordered a burger and they actually brought it to my table. (The burger was excellent, too!) Later a young woman came around to see if I'd like a refill on my drink or if I'd like anything else. I was there at around noon on a Saturday and it seems like a place that the local folks like to come to. I really enjoyed being there and having my lunch there. Also, the bathroom was attractive and clean. It was an excellent experience with excellent food and excellent service all around. read more

As a past manager of this particular restaurant I have nothing but good things to say about Hardee's and RMC the Franchise. They pride themselves on putting the customer first, it is like a sit down restaurant but it is fast food. They put quality and food saftey above all else, miss the team there but moving on was best for me, will always hold in high esteem and want to say what a great location this is!
