Hubby and I often go solo or with friends to enjoy and check out new dining or wineries. Honsberger has become a fave for us. Their patio is wonderful and a good size. They have a quite large fully covered area to the side of the main building, plus then another patio area with tables that have umbrellas. Their pizza is excellent and done in an outdoor pizza oven. They do have other items (mains, salads, appetizers), that are prepared in their main kitchen. One thing we have noticed is that things are taking a bit longer in the Covid world. This is we assume due to precautions taken with cleaning etc. So -- do be patient and just enjoy. We find that they always have some interesting cocktails with their wine as a basis, and some are available in pitcher size as well as by the glass! Reservations for the patio are available via the TouchBistroDine app. You won't find them on OpenTable. The staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. Parking is available at the back and on the side. You do need to have face masks until you get to your table.

Brad was incredible, offered so much insight, personally delivered the flowers to the chapel and stayed on site to move the floral pieces from the chapel to the reception venue. (While outside the chapel just before going in, Brad even fixed my dress! The wedding party flowers, the centrepieces and other decorations were stunning, absolutely amazing. I had so many compliments on my bridal bouquet, it was so gorgeous. Whatever I need flowers for, I will absolutely be calling BBBlooms.

They are now doing timed bookings for wine tastings. You can go to their website and just book the timeslot you want. I believe it is $15 per person for tasting. They were doing them just on the weekend when we were last there in June (the wine store is open every day), but maybe since Stage 3 was announced for that area, they are doing them more frequently. They are being responsible about social distancing. Make sure you take your mask - although obviously you can dispense with it once you are seated for tasting! :-)

My friends from Toronto bought a bunch to take home to their friends, it's just that popular and good. Yes, you are at a winery, but get a coffee and enjoy the tarts. Yum! - Art Gallery: they have an art gallery which is free admission, with some quality exhibits. - Sculpture Garden: Besides the indoor exhibits, they have outdoors sculpture too that is quite interesting. Be sure to take some time to walk around and admire them. Also, in the gift shop they have several of their wine in cans. I find it great to buy them as souvenirs for friends back home. A lot easier and lighter to carry, and I am able to bring gifts for more friends, since if I buy bottles, I can only buy two.

While they have some wines that are approachable the ones that impressed us were a touch on the high end of prices compared to other global choices. That said, my wife loved their Cab Franc ($45) and while that didn't hit the mark for me I was enamored with the Apologetic Red 2019 ($69 - on sale for $59 at the vineyard). This blend, 68% Cabernet Sauvignon and 32% Cabernet Franc using 50% Appassimento - same technique as my fav Amarone, may have been the best red from Ontario that I've tasted. Our 4 wine tasting ran $25 and was served in proper full sized wine glasses. They also brought us a sparking rose to start us off. Service was fantastic and friendly. Generous pours of the wine as well. We had a zucchini fritter to accompany the tasting that was delicious.
