My only regret is not going to the Winery hungry. They have all the moving parts for a great outing. Tastings, art exhibits, live music and a full restaurant. The property is beautiful and well maintained, the wine was amazing. I purchased 2 bottles. Ice wine is my favorite. I'll definitely be back. This is perfect for all occasions. Date night, girls night out, or dinner with your parents. This is a gem. Wear mosquitoe repellant when you go out to see the art exhibits.

A pretty little winery with pleasant helpful staff near St. Catherine's, which also has a really neat art gallery, and a bakery. We did a tasting of: the June's Vineyard Riesling 2023, which was really nice and fruity, but also dry; the Premier Cuvée 2018, a sparkling wine with interesting flavor but not one we liked much; the White Chardonnay, which was a really different light flavor (we bought a few bottles); the Gamay 2023 (a red I did not like, but which they say is one of their specialties); and their 2019 Late Harvest Riesling, which was a very nice dessert wine.

13th Street Winery in Niagara is one of our favorite wineries to visit. We absolutely love the tranquility and peacefulness of the country drive to get here. Even once you arrive and park, you continue to feel that carefree country vibe. No matter which direction you head, you are almost certain to encounter friendly staff who make you feel welcomed. Oddly enough for a winery, they are widely known for their delicious butter tarts--and rightfully so, as they are by far the best I've ever had. The food is always crafted nicely, with presentation matching the expectation and delivering on taste. We love sitting on the grassy area near a tree, having lunch while enjoying a glass of wine.

I was overwhelmed with the visit in the best way. My boyfriend booked us a wine tasting and tour and I didn't expect what we got. Our tour guide, Alan, was so welcoming and knowledgeable. We started the tour with sabreing a bottle of sparkling. It was so fun. Alan taught us how to do it and the history of the practice. The grounds are beautiful. Each stop throughout the vineyard and art gallery was paired with a wine and sausage or cheese. A wonderful experience. Recommend for wine lovers. Save space in your luggage to take a few bottles home.

The butter tarts in the bakery are as good as you can buy anywhere! The art gallery and outdoor art installations are wonderful. Next time I go back I'll sign up for a winery tour and/or eat lunch at the cafe.

Unique wine, gorgeous property, fantastic staff - what more could you ask for! Came to 13th Street for a pre-booked tasting on a day out in Niagara for my mums birthday. The wines are unlike any I've tried before, and really enjoyed the selection (lots to choose from). The grounds are beautiful, and in addition to the wine shop there is a cafe and art shop as well that we didn't have time to visit. I already want to go back and spend an afternoon here!

We stopped here on the way home after spending a day in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The property is beautiful. There is a lot of greenery in addition to various buildings for art, wine tasting, eating, and shopping. There is a lot of parking on site and less crowded than the NOTL wineries, which is nice (especially during a summer weekend). We had already visited a couple of wineries so instead decided to check out Canada's beat butter tarts. In addition to the butter tarts, I picked up a bottle of red wine. The wine was meh; I have had better reds, but the butter tarts were to die for. Sadly they do not ship to Toronto so I will have to visit again to buy more and explore the rest of the winery. Good for: wine, dining, shopping, 'touristing'

Updated March 2021. Always wonderful to stop at 13th Street Winery. Great wines to be had and lots of great treats! The butter tarts are fab. This months special was a Maple Walnut but we also love their Cherry tarts. You can get scones, breads, squares and more. We did try the frozen chicken pot pies which were wonderfully flavorful but could do with more chicken. :). Still will be a go to spot for us in Jordan when we are in the hood. Note - with Covid and store restrictions on number of shoppers it does get busy on the weekends. You can order in advance and just pop by and pick up! Note. They are closed on Sunday's.

Food 4/5 Service 3/5…read moreAmbiance 5/5 Food: I came here as a part of a work event. Our company had the whole event space booked. We had a set menu with three courses. Our first course was a green salad with currants. That was delicious actually. I really liked the currants. The next course was a choice of either chicken or squash (not many options!). I had chosen the squash but because of my food allergies they ended up giving me a mushroom dish. I love mushrooms so I didn't mind. That dish was actually quite tasty. The last course was a dessert which was a seasonal crumble with ice cream. They gave me a shaved coconut & berries dish due to my food allergies. The food was okay but my mind wasn't blown. I tried a bit of both the red wine & white wine but didn't like the taste. Then again I'm not much of wine drinker. Service: Some of the servers looked like the would rather be anywhere else than at the event. My server was great though, he was very attentive to me because of my food allergies. However, one of the servers dropped a carafe of boiling hot coffee on the ground. It hit me a bit, the guy next to me got some in his eye & another guy across from us was also hit. I was not happy about that. The server was really apologetic & went to get some ice. Took her forever but she finally found some & gave it to the people who were affected. I smelled like coffee after that. Ambiance: The vineyard is really lovely. We got there just before the sun started setting & it made for some amazing views. The dining hall is nice as well with it's high ceilings & floor to ceiling windows. The group washrooms were clean & pretty also. I'm not sure if I would come here again on my own. My impression of the food & service is tainted by the coffee being spilled on us. They were really apologetic & everything but sometimes first impressions are everything. I'm not often in the Niagara on the Lake area & if I were I wouldn't make a special trip to come here given my past experience here.

The service has always been friendly and welcoming, giving off a true local, down-to-earth vibe that makes you want to linger. We've enjoyed a few lunches here, with dishes that are consistently well-prepared, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented, pairing beautifully with their wines. Overall, this is a great spot for locals and visitors alike, offering quality food, a beautiful setting, and an experience that's absolutely worth a return visit. Saluti

The Margarita pizza had way too much salted sprinkled on top of the pizza and blatant store sauce with now flavour. I tried the more adventurous Swarma pizza and it didn't work for me - Zatar spice with chickpeas, yogurt and cheese- avoid. Hubby and I often go solo or with friends to enjoy and check out new dining or wineries. Honsberger has become a fave for us. Their patio is wonderful and a good size. They have a quite large fully covered area to the side of the main building, plus then another patio area with tables that have umbrellas. Their pizza is excellent and done in an outdoor pizza oven. They do have other items (mains, salads, appetizers), that are prepared in their main kitchen. One thing we have noticed is that things are taking a bit longer in the Covid world. This is we assume due to precautions taken with cleaning etc. So -- do be patient and just enjoy. We find that they always have some interesting cocktails with their wine as a basis, and some are available in pitcher size as well as by the glass! Reservations for the patio are available via the TouchBistroDine app. You won't find them on OpenTable. The staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. Parking is available at the back and on the side. You do need to have face masks until you get to your table.

5 - Service, the female "server" was very friendly and knowledgeable. Sorry, I did not get her…read morename! 3 - Atmosphere, wines Contrary to what I thought, King's Court is NOT a new winery. It's been around for DECADES, producing wine and providing grapes to other wineries - even to some out in PEC. Lowdown - Due to the very favourable Google reviews, King's Court has been on my to-visit list of wineries. I knew it was small, but when I saw that the tastings were inside a trailer - albeit a dressed up one - I was a bit disappointed. Pics online showed primarily outdoor tastings, so that's what I assumed the setting was esp since the weather was soo nice! The tasting trailer reminded me of a classroom. It also looked like someone was in the middle of unpacking bottles, so it wasn't some kinda clean, pristine or nature setting where wine is usually enjoyed. Tastings were $15/3 x 2oz samples, quite typical nowadays. Rep wasn't super strict with the limit of 3, so that is always appreciated...and the way it should be. She also offered me wines that weren't on the menu that they were low on stock on, so that was very nice. I had a Riesling, Rose, Black Knight, and a coupla others. Riesling was very petrol-y which I didn't expect and wasn't a fan of. Of course, this is all subjective, so perhaps other people would enjoy this. I like Rieslings that are more easy drinking, with fruity, floral notes. Apparently this petrol/alcohol-y taste is more common with aged Rieslings and that's what this was, a 2016. Rose was soo dry for me that I couldn't finish it. And I usually finish all my samples! Overall, very welcoming staff member, in a very casual setting. Perhaps their wines are for a more mature palate?? Lemme know!
