The Margarita pizza had way too much salted sprinkled on top of the pizza and blatant store sauce with now flavour. I tried the more adventurous Swarma pizza and it didn't work for me - Zatar spice with chickpeas, yogurt and cheese- avoid. We also did some wine tasting here and liked the Chardonnay but everything else was too dry. Nice ambiance and friendly staff but would not come back.

Hubby and I often go solo or with friends to enjoy and check out new dining or wineries. Honsberger has become a fave for us. Their patio is wonderful and a good size. They have a quite large fully covered area to the side of the main building, plus then another patio area with tables that have umbrellas. Their pizza is excellent and done in an outdoor pizza oven. They do have other items (mains, salads, appetizers), that are prepared in their main kitchen. One thing we have noticed is that things are taking a bit longer in the Covid world. This is we assume due to precautions taken with cleaning etc. So -- do be patient and just enjoy. We find that they always have some interesting cocktails with their wine as a basis, and some are available in pitcher size as well as by the glass! Reservations for the patio are available via the TouchBistroDine app. You won't find them on OpenTable. The staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. Parking is available at the back and on the side. You do need to have face masks until you get to your table.

The ambiance includes fine china teacups and saucers, along with three-tiered dishes, classical music, and cloth napkins. The tables and chairs were comfortable, along with a display of various tea ornaments, which included some for sale as well. The food was absolutely wonderful; everything was homemade, which included an abundance of cookies, two different types of scones, and large tea sandwiches on different types of bread (e.g. salmon on a croissant, cucumber and cream cheese on raisin bread, etc.). The food was fresh and well-prepared! Service was top-notch; we were given the utmost attention during our stay, even conversing with our waiter about the various events that the tea room had hosted over the years. Was impressed with how knowledgeable about tea our server was, and passionate as well. Will definitely recommend this tea room to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious tasting experience!

The tea selection was great, a variety of non-caffeinated versions of regularly caffeinated teas (Non-caffeinated English Breakfast and earl grey). Will definitely be returning in the future whenever we're in the area! I appreciated the reminder to bring our own takeout containers (although I still forgot them, will try to remember for next time).

The short review: We 100% recommend Sound of Harmony!!! They did a phenomenal job!…read more The long review: From the very beginning, they made the whole process very easy for us - not only the DJ and music selection elements, but the entire wedding. We had an initial walk-through with Shane (owner/manager), Steve (MC) and Ross (DJ), who asked us a few questions so they could better understand us and make recommendations for our wedding - e.g. what kind of music we like, how did I my wife and I meet, how would we describe each other, etc... This walkthrough was very helpful as we had no idea what we were doing and gave us a good idea of what to expect and what we needed to prepare in the coming months. To add another layer of difficulty, we were trying to coordinate a wedding in Niagara on the Lake, ON, while living in Boston, Massachusetts. They checked-in with us from time to time with more elements to consider and to discuss the details of the timeline for our wedding. As we got closer to the event date, we had a few Skype sessions with Steve, our MC. We provided him with some very ambiguous and open-ended information about our bridesmaids, groomsmen and parents that he was able to, somehow, turn into beautiful introductions for each person before they gave their speeches. Steve not only went above and beyond prior to the event to make us feel comfortable with how things were going to go, but during the event as well - introducing his great sense of humor throughout without overpowering the event. Steve was so beloved, in fact, that at the end of the event much of the wedding party asked to have them join them for drinks while they continued the celebrations that night. Ross was the DJ during the event. As a half "American", half Ukrainian wedding, we threw a very complicated set at him. We gave him songs that were in another language with varying styles that he needed to balance with a mix of traditional jazz and 90s pop music. He was able to pull this off without a hitch and read the crowd very well. Ross was great about taking requests from the guests. We had a diverse group of people - with equally diverse tastes - whose requests he was able to satisfy and blend into the overall style/feel we wanted for the evening. We also had Sound of Harmony provide blue uplights - which we highly recommend as well. It added a nice feel around the room where we felt something would have been missing otherwise. It's a small addition, but makes a big impact. We couldn't have asked for a better team to DJ our event. Working with them was by far the easiest part of wedding planning. The day of the wedding we still had a lot of things to keep in mind and take care of but the DJ and the MC were not one of them. We are truly thankful for all their hard work! They absolutely nailed it!

In hindsight, nothing really wrong with a vineyard being more wine focused with no outdoor festivities going on. They do apparently have events but not when we were there. We came for the wine, had heard they won awards and honestly it was disappointing. We did not go on a winery tour, this is a review of the wine tasting room and flight of wines. The staff was as knowledgeable and kind as can be. Group of 4 each got a customized wine flight of three wines along with a small bag of popcorn. Staff again was super helpful in suggestions for the flight and even offered a sample to help choose the flight. My $15 flight was the Speck Family Reserve Riesling, Speck Baco Noir and Vidal ice wine. Their tasting room is in an old farm house with art upstairs along with ample seating. The Vidal ice wine, a deep amber color, was complex with strong apricot, honey and peach. This was a treat. Perhaps I need to spend more time training my palate to appreciate Baco Noir but this was tough to get through. Drinking a wine probably shouldn't be a task. The Riesling was tart like crabapples. I did find the Three of Hearts rose to be pleasant. Surprising as I'm not a big fan of rose. The rest of our group which included two from Italy were not impressed with the wines. Had high hopes for Henry of Pelham as it's such a well renowned brand. Maybe we tested the wrong wines, should have focused on what they won awards for but they were the ones suggested to us. Before we departed we visited the well aged vines and paid respects at a small loyalist cemetery on their grounds where one of the original Speck brothers is also buried.

I don't think you can feel more peaceful than in the presence of a serene vineyard. The lobster rolls were excellent, the wine was amazing, and the music was perfect.
