Beware of this place! I went in for a simple tire change (seeing all the positive reviews), but…read moreafterwards the owner told me to follow him into the shop because they found other problems. He and his mechanic then proceeded to shake two of my wheels which shook pretty bad, telling me that it is dangerous to drive around like that and that I had to get additional things fixed. He then showed me his estimate for the job which was pretty high. Frankly, when the wheels shook like that, I panicked a little and thought about getting it repaired then and there despite the cost, but then remembered a time when another mechanic did something similar at another shop (showing me shaky wheels) which turned out to be nothing but a scam to scare naive customers into spending more money. I took the car to three other mechanics, one of them a friend of mine and just as I suspected, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the wheels. Upon closer inspection, it seemed they either loosened a bolt or two somewhere behind the wheels to shake them like that to scare the customer (me), then tightened it back again when they realized I wasn't taking the bait. The owner seemed nice enough and competent at first, but I think they take advantage of alot of customers this way, especially women and some of the Korean population here, so I would really beware of this place. I could only imagine how many other of their customers have already fallen for sneaky, underhanded stunts like this to scare them into dishing out extra money for repairs they never really needed, including some of the positive reviewers on here, unbeknownst to them. I've even heard of some shops that actually break parts that were perfectly fine going in to drum up business, so always get SECOND or THIRD opinion whenever a shop 'shows' you sudden costly repairs that you apparently need. You will end up saving hundreds and hundreds of dollars of unnecessary repairs. Also, it goes without saying, but never trust how nice or accomodating they first appear to be. All that means nothing.

Completely scraped in, I knew this was something that would take some time to fix. My husband recommended we go to Prestige Auto Body. At the time, it was during a week day, within less than five days, my car came back as if nothing happened. I was already so thankful to Tommy and his staff, I completely forgot I meant to review the business the first time. Less than two weeks ago, now my left side, both frames between my rear door and the panel I scraped and dented after misjudging the distance leaving work and I drove too close to a metal fence. Days later, we went back to Prestige Auto Body, saw Tommy and familiar faces again, and my car was back in the shop. Last week we went in towards Monday early evening, my car was done by Thursday afternoon. Tommy, thank you so much for remembering us and keeping your painter for my specific car color and fixing the damages. You and your staff work like magic, and I truly appreciate your kindness, conversations, and advice. My husband and I will make sure to always refer Prestige Auto Body to ones who need help. Called them to get a quote…read morefor the work I knew I needed done on my car and was told that it couldn't happen over the phone, but that I had to come down in person. A little strange but ok whatever. Came down and was given a quote, upon leaving realized a service I was going to need wasn't listed so I went back in and they provided me with an updated quote. The part I needed was a specialty part so they told me I would need to come and pay a "deposit" for the part before they ordered. I agreed to that, within 6 days of the date I was given the quote I went to pay the deposit, magically the amount of the part went up by almost $200. I needed the work done so I paid it but noted it as the first red flag. They informed me that the part should arrive by Wednesday (3 business days) which was fine. Wednesday came and when they did not call I called for an update and the part hadn't arrived. Called them the following day and they advised they received the part but it was missing a key piece, that it was being expedited and should arrive the next day. Called the next day (because why would they communicate with their customers) for them to tell me that there was a delay and that it wasn't going to be delivered until the following Wednesday (so a week after the original date I was given.) I immediately was irritated and asked to speak to a manager; I was inquiring as to how that was good customer service and asked that at the very least they honor the original quote that they gave me. I was irritated but was never yelling or cursing at anyone; I kept it very respectful. The "manager" proceeded to tell me that if they honored the original quote they would lose money and they are a business and that's not going to work for them. I was also told that no one "twisted my arm" to pay the additional $200. Twisted my arm huh, never experienced worst customer service in my life. I got the work done with them for no other reason that I was already in $1,000 for parts but please don't go here unless you want to be verbally abused and mistreated.
