Jurgen's still provides this level of care and attention to their customers. Months, or even years after a sale, they will still be there to help in any way they can. There are two reproductive strategies in animal evolution, one that invests heavily in ensuring each offspring receives optimal care, and one that sacrifices care and time for quantity, accepting that many will be left to die. Sadly, the fine menswear world has become dominated by the latter, with corporate mens shops offering low quality factory made rack options waiving "buy one get four!" deals yet leaving you to fend for yourself once you've handed over the money. It is difficult for a family store catering to gentlemen to exist if there are no gentlemen left in this world. Juergen is still a place where a father can take his son to get dressed from top to bottom, with all custom tailoring still in house. I beseech anyone who is looking for menswear to not succumb to the smoke and mirrors of corporate chains and give Jurgen's a try, you will have a suit worth its weight in Persian gems.

It's located in their downtown main street area, very easily accessible, and has so many goodies! My friend and I went bananas in this store and got so much cute stuff and it's always things I never see anywhere outside of Gliks either, which is what really sets them apart from other spots. Even on brand name items like Carhartt, they always have colors and patterns more unique and not sold at other stores that carry the same brands, and I just love that! Wish there was a Gliks closer to me, but also maybe it's a blessing in disguise that there isn't one otherwise I'd be completely broke!

Kurt the salesperson was extremely attentive until the tailor Mariana (hoping I spelled that correctly) arrived. She is well versed in the modern trends and very professional. She listened to what I wanted and the styles I liked and gave excellent advice about what changes to make and where. The prices are quite standard for such quality work. She had to completely deconstruct the suit to its most basic parts which I would not trust many to do. When I received the suit two weeks later it was absolutely perfect. There was no need for a single change and she even added a boutonniere loop for me while I waited. Overall the service was absolutely top and the quality is the same or better than any tailor I've had in major cities like Boston and Chicago. I will be bringing every piece that needs work of any kind to Fitzgerald's as long as Mariana is there.
