Most recently, I met with a really friendly, kind gentleman who spent almost an hour with me to get a couple new accounts opened. The Visa credit card I have here has the lowest interest rate of any other credit card I have besides the ones with the zero introductory offers. It's nice to earn interest on money in the bank, too. Lines can get long here. You have the option to check-in at the kiosk and get a text to your phone when it's your turn to meet with someone.

What merits this encounter props is that I had dropped my wallet at the branch. Another banker, Mr. Jody Pinnix, called me 26 minutes after closing to inform me that "I might have left my wallet"; the dude was closing up and noticed my wallet, then looked up my phone number using my ID! Jody offered to wait for me to return 20 minutes later. I got my wallet back, with everything intact! I'm so impressed with this branch's staff.

I did so at the branch as soon as received the one and only letter in the mail (did not even receive a phone call warning). The branch staff was friendly but "loss prevention" aka the virtual customer service teams still could not lift the hold on our account after spending hours trying to reach the proper dept via WF CS lines to find someone to fix the issue. Only to have them still close my business accounts without proper communication back to me, leaving us in a lurch, forcing us to open a new business account elsewhere to ensure our business transactions are uninterrupted, because they no longer want my businesses due to a paperwork mistake created by themselves! I am spending days of work to set up all new accounts elsewhere and redo all our ACH bill payments. Even the branch associates complain of getting proper help for their customers due to lack of system processes and escalations. I have never experienced such disregard, lack of ethics, and disrespect to customers from a bank. Avoid WF at all costs!!! No stars but this forces me to select a star!

To give an example when I inquired why is the credit card link to my bank account her response was "I don't know that you have a credit card" ???? Really and my credit card was shown to her along with my ID at her request. A new teller rudely demanded my driver's license to deposit only checks to my client's account, which was a first. I don't trust him to not sell my information. With good reason--a prev branch manager (there have been 3 or 4 in the last year) suggested I take advantage of my client. WaFd bank hasn't invested in their software. It takes 15 minutes for even someone good to do what another bank can do in 2 minutes. That means if the thing you wanted to do would normally take 10 minutes, you'll be waiting for hours. Online, the first time I imported the transactions into QuickBooks, it trashed the database, so I had to restore from backup. Now I enter all the transactions manually. The client says he's staying with them due to loans, and that Sammamish is much better. Couldn't pay me to bank with them especially since I live in Issaquah.
