I work for a local restaurant and I go in once a week to bring our deposits and to get cash orders.
I have to say, although I'm sure their products work for our company, their level of customer service needs a serious adjustment.
Every time I walk through those doors and hand off my deposits and cash order there's always a snooty comment, "You guys always need so much money." "Wow do you really need all those nickels?" "Always so many deposits." Or just straight up sarcastic laughter when they see how much cash I need; also sighing and irritated tones as they ask each other for a transfer of cash on hand. Not to mention one banker who always talks over everything you say. I have often also noticed the two senior bankers treat the other younger banker as if she was an idiot. And shes the only nice one there.
I used to be a banker and have been in customer service for 8 yrs. If I acted like that to a client or guest I would have been written up... Get your tellers an attitude adjustment please. I shouldn't have to defend needing a large cash deposit and order when we haven't been able to get to the bank in two days of business and those two days are a weekend... It doesn't hurt to be kind and welcoming. and If it does then you should get a job in the back office, not dealing with people. read more
