Ahi Tuna Salad
Emily L.

Fancy for no reason in my opinion. It is a hard combination of boatside fancy in a causal area. The view is amazing and restaurant is clean. I wish they stayed with a more causal vibe and reasonable pricing rather than upscale everything. The salad I got was pretty limited on flavor and not very filling in my opinion. Probably better for a fancy dinner occasion than just pulling up for a casual lunch after a boat day. Wanted something a bit cheaper and more casual for midday boating. Servers were nice, but it was confusing to have 2 different servers the entire time we were here.

Beautiful location, great drinks, average food. I wanted to love this place. It has great Yelp reviews and is located right on the water. The drinks were very good, service was super friendly, it was the food that fell short. Here's what we got and what we thought. My husband started with the harborside margarita, which was great. He then decided to get a fishbowl margarita. It's 52 oz so it's huge. It was only $15 which was stunning for that amount. He couldn't finish it and left about 1/3. I got a watermelon smash. It has a good amount of alcohol and was delicious. I'd probably branch out and try something else, but it was pretty good. For food we started with the meatballs. It's all beef and was the highlight of the meal. The kids loved the bread it came with. I got a lobster roll and found it had too much dressing to let the lobster shine. It was $30 and disappointing. The coleslaw was ok. My husband got a filet with a Caesar salad. The Caesar salad also had too much dressing. The filet was ok. I didn't love it but our younger son did eat a bit. My older son got the French bread pizza with fries and didn't like the pizza. I wasn't a fan either, the cheese tasted pretty meh to me. He ate some of the fries. Overall this place is great for the atmosphere but I don't think we'll be back soon because of the food.

New York 12 oz. NY Strip with loaded baked potato

We've dined here several times of the years, but it has been a bit since we've been back. So glad we dined here this time, the entire experience was incredible. We had the hush puppy appetizer which was good (especially the sauce), a dinner salad (that was huge) and our entrees ( Mahi for her and a New York Strip for me) followed by the chocolate cake. Everything was delicious, the team service was spot on and the atmosphere can't be beat. Definitely will be back. If you like margaritas, go for the Fishbowl ($15) vs the house ($13), while not premium tequila, it is a much better value.

Amazing seafood spot, this has made my first time ever truly liking white fish because it was so soft and buttery. The view of the lake is great and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Our servers Kaylee and Marco did amazing to make sure we got refills quick, kept checking up on us even when the place was fairly busy, and got our food out quick. 10/10 if I'm in winter haven I will be coming again!!

Another one of my favorite places to go to when I am in Winter Haven! The most recent time I went I tried the lobster roll and it was incredible! I wanted another one it was so good but I knew I wouldn't get through it. The wait staff is always incredibly friendly and does a great job of checking in with you. They have 2 different areas where you can sit outside by the lake and it's wonderful. Looking forward to my next visit back here!

The restaurant was busy so service was a bit slow but the food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful., We sat by a large glass window overlooking the lake. It was our Florida Christmas with our grandson and it couldn't have gone better.

Magnificent view off the pier.

Only perk to this restaurant was the view at sunset. The hostess was rude, the food was mediocre and the ambience reminded me of an old folk's home.

Fake flowers just looked cheap. But that view!!!!

We tried this restaurant because the views and the menu looked amazing. Immediately we were disappointed when our waitress came over, took our drink order, and turned around and left. No introduction. No specials listed. She brought water and our drinks in a timely manner. We ordered. She brought out some stale bread and tasteless butter. Well, this was not a good start.... I ordered white fish and shrimp. The shrimp were so overcooked. The whitefish wasn't bad. Onion rings were good. Presentation was lacking for what seemed like a nice restaurant. My husband had the filet and loved it, as well as the chipotle pineapple margarita! The manager was present checking on tables. The Overall, I wouldn't come back. Service was lacking and unfriendly, food sub par. I'm sure at one time this place was amazing!

Took my family of four to Harborside and had a fantastic experience! The food was delicious--we tried the gator bites, calamari, and pasta, and everything was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The views are absolutely stunning and really added to the overall experience. Our server, Somer, was great! Great food, great atmosphere--we'll definitely be back!

Lovely outdoor view of a lake. The clam chowder was OK, I've had better. Unfortunately while my steak was cooked beautifully to perfection at medium rare, it was unfortunately doused with waaay too much salt. The fish sandwich was good and plentiful. Service was excellent.

I am lactose intolerant so always look for vegan choices as they are safe for me to eat and I don't recall seeing any.

They are, but I am not sure if they are right now, you might need to call to see if they are allowing animals right now. They have limited seating inside and out due to government restrictions.

Harry's has the kind of relaxed, old-school local atmosphere that's getting harder to find. Great seafood, great service, great price. They were steadily busy throughout the evening so a wait is possible if you were to arrive at peak time. The setting is casual and in an old house- hence the name. If you ask to be seated in the back room, you'll have a view of the lake. The servers were very friendly and efficient. Food and drinks were prompt! We shared the onion loaf to start and had a variety of dishes around the table from steak, lobster tails, grouper, scallops, and the multitude of accompaniments. Everything was cooked beautifully! Especially the scallops. That was probably my favorite since they melted like butter in the mouth. I also enjoyed the hush puppies that were served with every main dish. Bonus points for the fact that many of the dressings and sauces are made in house. Since it was an occasion, we had some chocolate cake for dessert which didn't disappoint. The cake was rich and fudgy. My dad is a regular so I am definitely sold. The man is a critic and if he is impressed, I know something must be good! I was also impressed and can't wait to come again.

Awesome Local Florida Seafood!…read more When I first started eating from this food truck they used to serve fries with the protein. Since the accident with their truck and they have been using the smaller trailer truck they stopped serving fries. Instead they replaced it with 4-5 Hushpuppies and a small sauce container of coleslaw. To me its not worth buying the plates without the fries because you feel its less food for the price you pay. My favorites are : Crab bites / crab cake balls. They increased the price to $10 and you only get 5 pcs now. Apparently the size is bigger than before. The new size is golf balls size. Fried Shrimp / you pretty much pay $1 a shrimp. You get about 10-11 shrimps per plate. They are huge shrimps. This costs about $11. Fried Grouper Sandwich / this is my favorite when it came with fries. Because I don't eat the bun - I eat the grouper like fish and chips! The grouper is huge! And tasty! It is one of the popular item on the menu! The cocktail and tartar sauce and the coleslaw are house made. To me the blackberry lemonade and coleslaw tastes like publix. I only follow them to grab eats when im craving but since they stopped serving fries I slowly decline following them nowadays. The cod fish and chips most of the time the fish is tad overcooked .. and no more fries! So I stopped ordering it. As much as I hate to not support the locals .. until they bring back fries in the plates, I wouldn't support as much anymore.

From the time I was seated, to my waiter (Matthew) service and talking to the owner (Ray). Being from The Villages area, my friend & I like to visit restaurants that are not in our area; usually we go to lunch. My friend got the Chicken Parm & the piece of Chicken was huge & very tender. My choice was the Italian Deli Sandwich which was very yummy. I am a travel agent who does many local bus trips & I am planning on bringing a group of 34 ladies to this establishment. Before I got home, Hailey (Ray's wife) already sent me several group menus. I was very impressed with how quickly Hailey responded. FYI - I did not make a reservation so Ray did not know I was coming over ahead to time. They just treated me like anyone else. I would highly recommend this restaurant for you personal pleasure but also if you have a group who would like to go somewhere different. We were seated in the back room for a birthday dinner celebration. The room was extremely dark and we couldn't turn on the other lights because it was connected to the most dustiest ceiling fans that had at least 1/4 of an inch thick of dust. The woman who was coming in and out of the room to pour water in the water glasses had an attitude like she didn't want to be there. I asked her a question about the menu and she very dryly told me "you can't order that unless you are on the other side" then walked away. That's when I was inquiring about the bistro menu. At that point I knew I wasn't going to be able to eat anything there due to their lack of plant based items or even easily adjustable items so I just ate the bruschetta. However when we placed the order for the bruschetta it never came out. So once we asked about it, it was then comped and brought out. Our waiter was very irritated and annoyed it seemed with the large party he had to tend to but his assistant which was a younger more personable guy was way more pleasant to be around. The cost point for the food was beyond the taste and size of the portions. When I asked about kid options, the waiter told me he could have the chef make a kids steak or chicken tenders and fries. It was my mistake for not asking for the price since I assumed it was a kids portion. Granted the tiniest steak did come out I still had to pay over $24 which I would have purchased the regular adult size if that was the case. So some clarity on the menu options for the kids would have been greatly appreciated. I can go on and on about this place but ultimately I would recommend not to go here unless you don't care about customer service or price points. Upon leaving the family event, and getting home I then realized my debit card was never returned to me by our gracious waiter. So once we returned to retrieve the card another day we were greeted with the rudest and most annoyed individuals at the host station. Needless to say we will never ever return.

Older lady, you can tell she's been around as a waitress for a while. Kind of reminds me of like the old diner waitresses "What are you having" lol. Anyway, she was awesome. She let us pick off both options. We ordered the pirate one which is BBQ choices and we got some of the sea dog options for the seafood side. So sweet. We first got our bread. It was good. Tasted like a yeast bread. Came oiled and with sweet butter. It also came with a salad as well for the table which had cheese, tomatoes onion and greens. The salad dressing was light and sweet. The main food came. It came with ribs, flank steak, pulled pork, brisket, beans, string beans, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, sausage, and shrimp. 3 sauces came with it, regular bbq, mango bbq and mustard. The mango bbq had real mango in it. Now, preface by saying I understand this isn't a 5 star Michelin chef meal and I wasn't expecting much. However, this was actually very good. The steak was very good. Not dry. The brisket was good. The ribs were good not dry. The pulled pork was dry. The salmon was good, The shrimp was good, Sausage was good, the string beans were ok, the macaroni was very heavy but good and the mashed potatoes were good. Overall I was very impressed. Then for dessert came our chocolate chip covered ice cream with heath bar bits. So very fattening.

The food is served family style and you get a lot of bang for your buck as you can reorder as many things as you'd like. We chose the Pirate Platter which includes: a delicious salad with apples and pecan and honey bread upfront, then a platter of assorted meats such as brisket, steak, sausage, chicken, and ribs. The brisket is our favorite. It comes with green beans, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. I really wanted to try some of the vegan platter so they brought that out for me at no extra charge. For dessert, we got a pan cookie with ice cream as well as the vegan chocolate fondue with fruits and marsh mallows. All of this unlimited for only $39 per adult and $19 per child with drinks included. Delicious and such a fun dinner experience! Since I stayed at the hotel, I also came here for breakfast as it is included in the stay. Breakfast is the same across all three Legoland hotels. It's also served family style and includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, French toast or pancakes. You can add fruits, yoghurts, cereal, oatmeal at no up charge. And it also includes drinks such as coffee, milks, juices, etc. The staff was very accommodating about letting me take things to go and ordering extra stuff.
