My kid's school was having a fair complete with food truck "rally" (does it count as a rally if…read morethere are only 4 food trucks?). There were massive lines for the other 3 trucks, so we ended up at Jimmy's. I ordered two orders of the fried shrimp. My order was done in less than 10 minutes, which was pretty good for a food truck. The fried shrimp is 6 pieces, and it's $12. For $2 more, you get a generous side of fries. The shrimp was huge and sweet. The french fries were thick and well fried, although they were overly salty. You are offered tartar sauce or cocktail sauce. I asked for just ketchup and received nothing. This is a pretty efficient food truck, and I think the prices are reasonable. The shrimp was good, although the fries were salt bombs. The rest of the menu is very crab-heavy (most items are topped with crab), which might or might not appeal to you (it didn't for my family).

Great crab cake burger!…read more I found this food truck when I had an event at Brew Hub. Since I was going to be there for three hours, I figured I needed to nourish myself with a bit of grub first. I'm glad this was the truck that was there because it was definitely satisfying! I got the crab cake burger and it was delicious. There was a good amount of crab in it and the bun was very sturdy. I added fries on for an additional dollar. The fries were solid, but I find my true test for fries it whether I would eat them without any dipping sauce. It didn't have enough seasoning or flavor so I ended up needing ketchup. They were crispy and nicely fried though. I was surprised that adding fries was only a dollar. That's a pretty awesome deal. The workers were super friendly. Since it was hot outside I placed my order and came back five minutes later to grab the food. I would definitely eat at this food truck again!

This place was new for us but we liked the different take on food so we gave it a try…read more First, the food was so nicely plated and perfectly arranged. It was almost too pretty to eat. The steak potato came out exactly like the menu photo and tasted exactly like the description. It was very well seasoned with no fatty steak pieces. It reminded me almost of beef stroganoff on a potato, minus the creamy sauce. The shrimp potato followed the same guidelines, beautifully plated. It tasted like shrimp scampi on a potato. Some of the seasonings were a mystery to us. The portions were enormous! We. Old have easily split one potatoe and perhaps still has some left over. We are definitely adding this place to our normal rotation!

Brothers Burger truck review from Family Food Adventures!!!…read more They were out of many things the night we went. So we did not get to try their empanadas that we were so excited to try. We ended up purchasing 5 meals. 3 tropical burgers, 1 slider meal and the most expensive burger on the menu the "House burger", all came with fries. Total cost for all 5 was about 60$, and let me tell you right up front the price is similar to most burger places where you can sit and get drinks so it's kind of expensive in comparison for food that we are taking home and supplying our own drinks. Comp: Burger bunker in Auburndale, Great Burgers and they have a family pack with fries and drink for 4 people @ 25$, review coming soon!!! Back to the truck: We purchased 5 meals. 3 tropical burgers, 1 slider meal and the most expensive burger on the menu the house burger all came with fries. The Tropical burger was a 1 out of 3 for the Fam, 1 liked it the other 2 said it was OK The slider meal was enjoyed by our 9yr old, she thought they were great and loved the fries. Now for the house burger, of course this is what Dad got, lol. It was good the burger was over cooked to my liking, after asking for medium, it was well done and it was a bit messy, but a good burger can be!!! Out of 10, I would give it a 6, it was good, but did not hit that burger crave I had that night, so it was OK. The food took about 35 min. to be prepared, a bit long seeing as they were not busy, but the thought is always good food takes time. The real challenge is their timing on the food coming out. When a Family orders all the food should come out at the same time, it did not. We received the sliders about 5 minutes before the 2nd bag of food, ultimately I had to reheat it when we got home. The tropical burgers came out 2 at the same time and sat on the counter not bagged while the 3rd tropical and house burger were finishing up. We ended up having to reheat the 2 tropical burgers as well. We were only 5 mins from home. Final thoughts: We will definitely go back to try their empanadas, but we would not return for the burgers b/c of price and effort to reheat. A decent burger place for late night eats instead of fast food!!! Hope it helps with your Burger Craves decision making!!!

Family Food Trailer Adventure!!!…read more Please note: We have been eating here since Mid Nov., but I wanted to wait until we tried almost everything before placing my review. After our first dining adventure here, I knew we would be back and I wanted to leave an epic, honest review for everything I could. Our Family craves this food and when they open and at the AutoZone location so are we at least once that weekend!!! I have been Driving by this food trailer, sitting in the AutoZone parking lot for a while before that. The large burgers on the trailer had me gauking as they looked so good! We finally had the chance to stop by and OMG these are some of the best Smash or non smash burgers all 5 of us have ever had!!! This is now our go to place for burgers as they have something you cannot get anywhere else... SNOOP'S SPECIAL SAUCE!!! What an elevation to any burger!!! The price point is definitely on point with the quality, plus you get a pile of fries (Plain or Parmesan) with that SPECIAL SNOOP SAUCE all for 16$. Let me ask a question: WOULD YOU RATHER? Have a basic burger from corporate stores for 12$-17$ and have a Good Burger & Fries Or... Have one of the best burgers of your life every time you go to snoops as consistency is key and SNOOPS has it!!! You can also get a burger, fries & 6 piece wing combo for 25$ - Saving you 7$ from the cost of a 6 piece wing, what a great deal!!! The wings are amazing and large in size to support the 6 pieces & then Parm Fries for the 16$ price point, but still the burger/fry/wing combo is definitely worth it!!! Sauces available: XXX BACON JELLY RANCH LEMON PEPPER MANGO HABANERO - tried and loved Garlic parm Thai sweet chili - tried and loved Hint honey Garlic - tried and loved The Philly steak may seem higher priced than most, but holy beef this is the best Philly Steak I have had in Florida and I've eaten them all over the northeast, even in Philadelphia, so I like to think I know what a real Philly should taste like. First Snoops got the soft/fresh bread, which we all know is key to the sandwich, the bread is filled with meet and cheese and I could not get enough the first time as I went back the next day to get another one. For me the 25$ Philly is so big you could share with another or eat it all yourself, like I do, cause it's so good & don't forget those Parm fries come with it to!!! To sum things up if you haven't tried Snoop's your doing your and your families bellies a disservice. The owner operator is passionate about his food and proud as he shows every guest their food before bagging it up. I'm sure it's just to see your face as this man takes pride in his food quality and guest service!!! AS ALWAYS, TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

And the VERY unimpressive burger (which should have been 3 sliders) tasted like week-old-defrosted meat, and very gamey tasting. It was supposed to be Angus beef, but it most DEFINITELY WAS NOT! Not to mention that, although it was supposed to be a smash burger, it shouldn't have been see-thru and PAPER-THIN. I highly DO NOT recrecommend buying from this food truck. It will be a waste of your time, taste buds and money! Go buy a Krysral burger, you'd enjoy it more.

THE HIDDEN GEM OF THIS OUTDOOR FLEA MARKET…read more Tucked away at the end of the rows behind the blue building is a green taco truck called Taqueria Mari, and trust me, this spot is the real deal. From the moment you walk up, you'll notice a long line of people waiting... but don't worry... it moves FAST. The reason? Fresh tacos flying off the grill. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food comes out quick and hot. I ordered 10 tacos plus a classic Mexican Coke in a glass bottle (500ml) And every single taco was made fresh to order with ingredients chopped right in front of you. Here's what I tried: Tacos de Asada (Beef Steak) Tacos de Carnitas (Slow-Cooked Pork) Tacos de Al Pastor (Marinated Pork) Taco de Lengua (Beef Tongue) Every taco was straight off the grill, loaded with flavor, and packed with fresh ingredients. They also have plenty of seating with a covered eating area, so you can sit down, relax, and enjoy your tacos without rushing. If you're exploring this flea market, do NOT leave without stopping here. This is one of those "locals know" taco spots. Hidden. Authentic. Absolutely worth the line. Pro tip: Look for the green food truck at the back behind the blue building.

Stumbled this place at the Sunshine Flea Market today…read more I went here for the Kettle Corn booth but did not see it. I am not sure if they even come here anymore for the kettle corn. Anyways this truck had customers and had a line. Most were mexicans eating too so that is a sign its good. The menu is not that small and not that large either. The Daily specials are $8 (with $1 tax) and you get a good amount of food. Some the specials do not come with rice and beans just eb mindful. The tacos you can choose what kind of meats on each taco but some of the entrees its based on 1 kind of meat. They did not have Tamales today so I opted for the 3 tacos plate. I chose birria, carne asada and al pastor meats. It had the onions and cilantro and the tortilla is MADE FRESH not store bought. You can tell its fresh tortilla. They will give you rice and beans with green sauce. The tacos - The Al Pastor was my fave out of all 3 meats. I liked the flavor it came out with. The Birria was not bad either but I am not big on shredded beef unless its a birria taco with au jus. The carne asada was salty for my taste. I will request Al Pastor next time. The rice is not red or the look of traditional mexican rice. Its pale white with broth flavor. It was seasoned well. No hints of veggies. The beans was delicious it had mashed beans with hints of beans throughout- It was seasoned well. The green sauce was spicy but it enhances the flavors of the tacos. Is it the best tacos? I prefer the ones at Wahneta taco truck by the mexican grocery store - but the fresh tortilla and the beans gets my points on this one. There is a LONG WAIT if you do not call in your order. They make food fresh made to order here. I will def come back again and try the Tamales next time.
