Good food and great service! We have been coming to this place weekly for the past, few years and it never disappoints. The food is consistently good and the service is great! As an added bonus, there are both indoor and outdoor (covered patio) tables with a view of the lake. We're kind of boring and order the same thing every time. A steak burger with cheese and fries for me and the grilled chicken Cesear salad for my husband. We've never had a bad meal here. We recently heard a rumor that the restaurant has changed ownership. I really hope that the quality of the food and service continue to be great. read more

You know Im just going to say average. The view is okay, nothing great. The same for the food. The fish and chips are okay, nothing special. For me, the fish and chips have too much breading compared to fish. The fish tacos were good, but again too much slaw and needed more fish. The 6oz salmon was pretty good, but for $13.99 it better be good. Ordered a house side salad which I would not order again. Paid extra for the house side salad because they wouldnt let me substitute for a side. It was just iceberg lettuce and green olives and a couple tomatoes, not worth the $$. Ordered Prosecco it was flat. I could tell it wasnt a freshly opened bottle of Prosecco. The only reason I gave three stars instead of 2 is because our server was friendly and efficient. ordered 3 burgers for the three of us with mushroom at 2.50 more on each at $7.50 total. the burgers came out and the meat was burned that looked like a hockey puck. the mushroom were one thin slice of medium size mushroom. the tomato on mine was quarter size from the bottom of the tomato. First time here, seated quickly by hostess. Excellent d friendly server Kaylene. One of those rare places where everything was good: appetizer, bread, salad, drinks, entree, and sides. I want to love this place, I really do. In the early 2000's we came by boat almost every weekend, it was great. Now we live less than a mile from it, we have recommended it to our Airbnb guests, but the service is always "meh" at best. We've sat inside, outside, at both bars, and after going 6 times (recently) I can't recommend it anymore. It feels like the waitstaff isn't happy that you are there. This last visit we had to ask for menus, then silverware and waters at the bar after our alcoholic drinks, bread, and salads came out. The food is good, but overpriced. We've been outside with a party of 6 and have waited over two hours for lunch. The lake view is great, the updated interior looks fantastic, but I just can't recommend it. We ate on Christmas eve there were 5 of us. It was pretty full it was late and I was shocked at that. Our drinks came quickly then we ordered our clam chowder was delivered tepid, not like it was on the pick up window because the many potatoes in the soup were tepid also. Yuck. It was so cold in the restaurant we almost left (we should have). Shrimp appetizer was overcooked and difficult to peal. Clam chowder was a nice large bowl, but only contained one small wedge of potato and two tiny flecks of clam, the rest was tasteless cream based broth with no hint of "old bay" seasoning. The salad seemed to have pure vinegar as the salad dressing. Fish was cold (probably from the trip to our table in the cold blaring AC). waitress couldn't care less. We came here on a Saturday night not knowing there was going to be a Christmas boat parade in the harbor right next to the restaurant.We were told there would be an hour and a half wait.We decided to wait. To say the least the staff were working as best they could to just keep up.Service was ok but our food took a very long time to come out.Our server did come over to tell us it should be soon but I think they could have done more to make the experience better.When we finally did get our meals both my husband and I were underwhelmed.I ordered the crab cakes (under cooked) and the hubby had the grouper sandwich(not much to write home about). Our first visit and my wife & I had high expectations based on everything we had heard & read but.....ended up with mixed results. Great waterfront view! We had appetizers and the Gator bites were really good. The sea skins were just ok, by the time the order was served to us they were lukewarm. The house salad was a bright spot, very light and refreshing. As for the entrees, biggest disappointment was the grouper. It was over cooked and bland. However, the stuffed flounder was good. So, my wife was happy and I was disappointed (better than the other way around, at least for me!). We both had the loaded baked potato, however they were far from being loaded, small amount of toppings and just barely warm. Service was ok, not good ..not bad, just average. I always allow for sick call-in and short staff but they had plenty of servers and were not that busy. We got there at 4:30 PM so we could beat the dinner rush and still had average service and a long wait to get our main course. Bottom line, for us it was not worth the $104.00 tab (without alcohol). Hope it was just a case of "wrong time, wrong day" for us but we won't be back. read more

Very disappointing Mother's Day dinner. The atmosphere was crowded and loud and the food was a total disappointment for a joint that acclaims itself for fish. The grouper we paid $34.00 for was a thin piece of oversalted and odd textured fish. Didn't taste like the grouper we catch in the gulf. The mahi was cooked properly and tasted like mahi, which was actually very good. The veggies were cooked properly also. The soup was tasteful, but the salad and the meals came out before we were finished with our appetizer. The french fries were cold and overcooked. Our waitress, bless her soul, was so busy she hadn't returned until we were finished to ask how everything was. We didn't stay for dessert and won't be back for another dish of questionable fish. read more

Great service and the food was delish. Beautiful property and gorgeous lake view from the screened-in patio. And James was very attentive. The fish & chips better than any other I've had. Fluffy white fish, although breaded was light and not greasy at all. The grilled grouper sandwich was also tasty and seasoned perfectly.
