Dan does really great work at a very reasonable price. And turn around time was very quick too. I brought my radiator in on a Monday and it was ready to be picked up by Wednesday afternoon. Can't get any better than that! read more

No muss no fuss. Straight up fellas. Brought brought big heavy parts in for dipping. They found and repaired leaks and got us all sorted . They loaded the items in the truck for me too (I have medical issue). On time and no bull poo. read more

Harbor Radiator will treat you right and they have the best prices compared to anyone else. I have known them for over 40+ years. They do nice quality work. If you are looking for a radiator shop that has the best service and prices, then go to Harbor Radiator. I recommend. read more

I needed my old radiator looked at to see if it was in working order. Quick drop off. They called me in 2 days with the news. Opted to let them have the radiator since it needed new cores. The inspection was free since they kept the radiator for parts. Sounds like a plan to me! Thank you! read more

In all my years of dealing with mechanics, this group is definitely at the top of the food chain for efficiency and customer care. Yep, another occasion in my attempt at keeping my prized 2006 Mustang GT convertible rolling. I told Gregg the owner that I would drop it off at 8:00 the following morning when they open. Paperwork was done in very short order and I was standing out front in 10 minutes waiting for my ride. 3 minutes later I see my car being driven into the repair bay. I had asked Gregg how long they would need, and he replied around 4 hours. A few ticks past 10:00 I receive a call that my new radiator was ready for the road. Nice! You would think that the well oiled machine that this company is, and the fact they have been in business for a couple of decades that they would be priced high. Not so. I had one estimate at $600 and another at $690. Here? $375. They also do air-conditioning repairs and marine work as well. I doubt that anyone else in this business can match them for such high quality workmanship, and especially what they charge their customers. read more

I turned up with an old marine heat exchanger and it did not phase them in the least. They offer a standard refurbishment price of $125 (all in) and turned it around within 24 hrs! They even braised on a new pencil anode attachment for me as part of the standard service. Gregg, the owner, is a very friendly and knowledgeable fellow and I can do nothing but highly recommend him and his team! read more

I have to say thank you to the entire shop there. I had a leak in my radiator and I needed it replaced. Well I came here on a Friday about almost time to close and gregg still looked at my car gave me an amazing quote after going elsewhere where they almost quoted me $1300 I came by today to get it fixed!! I couldn't have found a better shop. I definitely recommend them! Very great and super reliable!!! read more

I would have given 10 stars if I could. Danny doesn't mess around, very very nice and honest. I got a great price on a quote, dropped off my truck and in less than a few hours I had a new radiator and a happy truck. I will definitely recommend him to ANYONE that needs radiator work. Thank you Danny and Greg. read more

My girlfriends truck had a radiator leak. I called and spoke to Danny and got a quote over the phone that was very competitive. We dropped the truck off and a few hours later we got a call telling us that the truck was ready to be picked up. When I got there Danny greeted us and showed me the old radiator, it was completely shot. The bill was exactly what he quoted us, unlike others who have all sorts of hidden charges and fees. The guys at Harbor Radiator are an absolute pleasure to do business with. I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

My car has been overheating for a year. I finally took it Firestone and they quoted me $1100 to replace the radiator, thermostat and fabs. Yeah. No. Harbor Radiator replaced the radiator in my old Accord a few years ago and it was affordable so I called them. They quoted me $670 and held onto my info so there was no bait & switch with the pricing. I took it in today and an hour after dropping it off, they called and said my radiator & thermostat was fine & did not need to be replaced. They recommend a local shop that specializes in the electrical components & even drove my car there for the other mechanic to fix it. They could have easily done the repairs I went in for and made their $670. I'm sure in this time of Covid, they could have used that money. I really respect their ethics and will continue to use them and recommend them to anyone who needs radiator repairs! read more

I just had my gas tank for my 67 Toyota cleaned. It came out great. I highly recommend Harbor Radiator. Thank you!

A.C. lasted less than a month after I had it fixed. Came back in to have them fix it and waited for almost 15 min before I was even acknowledged even though they didn't seem that busy. Then, they made it seem like it was my fault that they did shoddy work. Horrible workmanship and even worse customer service. read more

I deal with these great guys often for my husbands business. They always carry the parts from my car into the shop and they are efficient, sweet and do fine work. read more

I would go out of my way to bring my business here without any hesitation. The minute you walk into the old timey front office it's obvious these guys are the real deal and know what they are doing. The owner took care of us right away, listened to what we had to say, looked a little closer and recommended another mechanic a block away that specialized in our issue. What!!! Short story, overheating engine - but if this has ever happened to you before, you know they can tell you 100 things and take your money all the while. Not the case at Harbor Radiator - thanks for having honesty and integrity! When my radiator breaks, not if but when with my piece o' shit car, I know where I'll be going. read more

If you have a marine heat exchanger.... This is the place to come... Great Service with Great Prices... I dropped it off on Tuesday... It was ready by Thursday... read more

I brought my E320 in today to fix my radiator. Had them flush out a heat exchanger in the past on my J105 but this was first time with a car repair. Work was done super fast and at a very reasonable price. These are good folks who know their business. read more

There is a reason why this business has been around for decades. In the twenty plus years I have been living in Costa Mesa I never once paid these guys a visit; nevertheless, I am extremely glad that my radiator finally gave out to give me an excuse to go. They never tried to up-sell me a more expensive radiator just something that went along with my budget and that would work for years. I have a 1978 Camaro which has all kinds of leaks, some which I was unaware of where they were coming from. These guys went above & beyond to helped me take care of everything I needed. I hope Harbor Radiator stays around for decades to come, everyone in Costa Mesa needs to play a part in supporting our long standing local businesses! read more

These guys are exactly the type of people I want do business with. Dan gave me a quote over the phone for my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee, brought my car in shortly thereafter, and they had it done w/ in 3.5 hrs. Businesses like Harbor Radiator are the ones we should/need to support in our local community. I'd recommend them to anyone having issues w/ their radiator. If the local police and firefighter's take their fleets here, you should too. read more

You have a problem with your radiator. These are the guys to go to. Gregg and the guys are HONEST and do excellent work. I wont go anywhere else and would highly recommend. Thanks read more

Stand up guys right here! I took my 1997 Toyota 4-Runner in for AC repair. They did an excellent job for an excellent price. It's never worked better! My husband has taken multiple cars here (his, his mothers, fathers etc.) for radiator repair and they always do an wonderful job. Gregg is the best! Harbor Radiator has honest mechanics that know their stuff! I recommend this place to all my friends. read more

This is business run the way it should be - immaculate attention to the customers needs and EXCELLENT care given.

I had a really old heater core that I brought here and they fixed it up like new! The price was very reasonable, couldn't be happier with their service. When I have a bigger project I will be back read more

So refreshing to visit an auto repair place without pretense. These are great techs who do dirty work, professionally and without fuss.

Harbor Radiator is super. My 1998 Honda Passport had a leaking radiator. The dealer wanted $1,000 to replace it; another independent I checked with wanted $700. The guys at Harbor Radiator did it promptly and well for $386. This place is strictly old school, the office looks like nothing has changed since 1972 but don't let the plain exterior and lack of fancy signs fool you. For radiator and air conditioning work, this is the place. They also service boats. read more

They are as good as their word. Everything performed as promised.

They know their stuff. The dealer quoted me more than twice the price (@$1100+) for the same work. Danny even gave me a ride home!

If you are looking to get your radiator serviced look no further. I was doing some research calling around to find the right place and after getting the run around and quoted some absorbent amounts, someone referred me to Harbor Radiator and I couldn't be more pleased. They were completely honest and upfront about all the issues and refused to take my money for what they found to be a very simple fix. These guys remove all anxieties about getting duped. I am so grateful somewhere steered me in the right direction, and so I hope to do the same for you. It is a mistake to go anywhere else in the neighborhood! read more

This place is the best of the best to get your radiator and air conditioning needs met! The owner and employees are exceptional, honest, and know their business! You will never have to worry about being overcharged. The store front and office are very old time looking, but don't let that put you off, their service is exceptional! I have recommended Harbor Radiator to quite a few folks and I've never heard any complaints. We need more businesses in our community like Harbor Radiator. read more

They took the time to talk through my car's issues on the phone and in person. Though I saw my AC condenser bubbling and leaking AC fluid, they found no leak a few weeks later and were honest and didn't try to replace the condenser. So I just paid for the system to be vacuumed and refilled, saving me hundreds of $. read more
