Pros: Cant beat the location and price....it was free since I was staying at the hotel. Staff was friendly and regularly checked up on us to refill coffees. Cons: Seems like the staff had a hard time keeping up with the food in the buffet area. 2 out of the 3 times I went up, the trays were half empty. I had limited time so not having food readily available was unfortunate.

Best pork chop of my life. Amazing mashed potatoes. The pickle fries? We ordered a second round of them; they were so good. The Italian lemonade (alcohol) was fantastic. Service was amazing. Half price apps when we came in. And prices of the food overall? Yall are getting Olive Garden prices for some of the best food you may ever have. I've had mashed potatoes at all the chain steak houses. I've had French fries everywhere. I've eaten at fairly fancy ritzy places in Vegas, NYC, San Francisco, San Antonio, Boston. All over. And literally this is some of the best food I've ever had. TRY THE PORK CHOPS. And we also appreciate being treated nicely even though my friend group was dressed up or goth girls night lol. We looked out of place but felt at home and left very very happy ladies.

The decor is unique and the seating well laid out. The buffet is relatively small, but this place is about quality not quantity. If you do eat at the buffet expect the owners to repeated ask you if you'd like for them to make more of something or to add anything. It's more of a "tell us what dishes you'd like and we'll keep it coming" than a standard buffet. I assume since they are in such a small town with a low volume of people coming in this is how they keep food from sitting too long. The food itself is amazing. Everything is cooked fresh and from scratch. The crab Rangoon and egg rolls are to die for. The dishes such as Sesame chicken and General Tso's chicken I have tried were HUGE to go portions. My only complaint is that the fried rice that comes with it is rather bland, but if you ask for pork or chicken fried rice instead they'll switch it at no additional charge. Everything is super cheaply priced as well. This place is worth the trip from Mt. Vernon or any other surrounding area. Their carry out or dine in dishes are great and the buffet experience is different, but a fun experience as well. I ate lunch here with 2 of my friends the other day and the bill for all 3 of our lunch buffets with drinks was just over $15. Can't beat it!

Tonight we had to wipe our own table because our waitress was distracted and couldn't stay on task. I get that Fish Fry Friday is a busy night, but there was plenty of staff standing around that could have jumped in and helped! Our corn nuggets were raw in the middle, fries were cold and I'm pretty sure I pee hotter than our fish was.
