    Walleye Tacos

Visited this establishment specifically to see a band on their patio. The patio is first come, first serve so you need to scope out tables when it's busy. They have two outside bars which made it a little nicer to have a drink while waiting for a table. Once we grabbed a table, a server came over to take drink orders, give us menus, and somewhat cleared off the dirty table. We ordered Walleye Bites and Walleye Tacos. I ordered the Orange Crush off the drink menu for something different & new. The drink was delicious, but overpriced. The food was really good! I would definitely come back for both items we had on the menu. The band was fun and the patio was full all night. We didn't sit right on the water but the tables along the lake have great views. A good place for a date, dinner with family, or a night out to see a band on their patio. I'd definitely come back. Yes, it's overpriced but it's also on the water.

Great little waterfront view, fresh fish snd a great cocktail menu. Whether you choose to walk, drive or idle up in your boat you will be happy to relax. We ordered heavy appetizers, hot fresh and perfect for sitting on the patio. The walleye bites were fantastic, simple and the tartar was just as good, extra pickle! The tacos were a good size and filling. Simple review, you can't go wrong with a deck over looking the water. Whether you are looking for family friendly or a girls night out head yo the harbor house. Okay

They don't have Lake Erie Perch or Walleye! Besides that tragedy, the non-seafood menu is very good. The Cajun Steak Alfredo and burgers are good. The drink menu is pretty expansive and there are two popular river-side bars to enjoy the drinks. While enjoying a drink outside on the river, there is live music every weekend during the summer (Thursday-Sunday). Overall, a classic spot in Huron, Ohio during the summer. Good food only a few feet from the lake and it's always nice to take a walk on the pier after eating at Harbor House.

Lunch on Friday was at Harbor House Bar & Grill in Huron. The food was decent, waitress was good but took forever to get our food and bill.

It was our last day and we wanted to find a dog friendly bar and grill overlooking the lake. My Mr had this bookmarked on Yelp. He called the restaurant and thankfully they do welcome pets. You can seat yourselves so we chose a picnic table with shading. Our server was very kind and brought our Frenchie a dog bowl. Very thoughtful and greatly appreciated it. The menu selection has a a lot to offer from appetizers, tacos, meals, sandwiches, wings and more! They do have a good craft beer selection, specialty mixed drinks, domestics and wine. I opted for the Walleye bites basket ($16.99) which comes with sidewinder fries and coleslaw. My Mr got the Perch fingers basket he subbed the fries for the sweet potato waffle fries (which comes with a maple sauce) and it came with coleslaw. For beers my Mr got the Catawba Island Lake Erie love (Kolsch) and I got the Twin Oast Eriesponsible Pale Ale. Both on drafts. We didn't have to wait long for our meals. The were both delicious. Both the fish were fresh and not greasy. The fries were amazing. Especially the waffle fries! The maple sauce was a perfect with it! Overall, we had a great experience and glad that we stopped by.

    A brew and a view.

I was legit surprised that this spot got such low reviews. Honestly, I really enjoyed it, and my lady did too. Plus, being VERY dog-friendly was a plus in my book. My lady and I were about to start a drive home from a relaxing vacation in Huron, OH, and wanted to stop by a local place for lunch first. We saw this spot here on Yelp, and despite the low ratings, we decided to check it out. The place looked pretty cool, especially being right on the water, with lots of outdoor seating (dogs are only allowed on their outdoor patio). Our server was super friendly and brought our dog some water when she brought our waters too. Their menu was fairly diverse and their beer menu was nice too. My lady ordered a Twin Oast Eriesponsible pale ale and I ordered a Catawba Island Lake Erie Love kolsch (Yeah, even after the not-so-good experience at their brewery. See my review on then for details. Still good beer though.). For our meals, my lady had the walleye basket with sidewinder fries, and I had the perch basket with sweet potato waffle fries. Both came with cole slaw. Everything was very tasty and the cole slaw tasted super fresh. Both the walleye and perch were excellent, definitely the best we'd had in the area on this trip. I liked this place and would absolutely go again if my lady and I plan to be in the area again. Great food, good beer selection, friendly service, and a very nice view.

We keep trying and are simply disappointed every time. It's such a great spot, but no one can seem to get it right since Brass Pelican

Probably the dirtiest restaurant i've ever been to. That said I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like.

Restaurant was dirty, food was bland and service was terrible. The only positive is the location.

Bartender very rude. No happy hour and don't ask for pitchers, they probably think you are crazy, $6 per glass. Very bad experience...

We came during peak dinner hours and waited ~20 minutes for a table, which wasn't bad. The place isn't too large, and given how good the food is, I can see why there could be a wait. We decided on the jalapeno poppers (June special), onion rings, lemon pepper wings, and two burgers with fries (BBQ ranch jalapeno burger - June special, Hot N' Spicy burger) all to share. Plenty of food for 2 adults and 2 kids to share! We all agreed everything was delicious. The poppers come out super hot, so definitely wait a little to bite into them. Onion rings perfectly cooked and crispy. Wings were plump and had good lemon flavor to them. Both burgers were juicy, but of the two enjoyed the Hot N' Spicy more. Service is friendly and attentive. Parking is available in a small lot directly next to the restaurant or along the street.

She let us know what they were known for (wings and burgers and their rotating specials) and gave my indecisive mind plenty of time to figure out what I wanted. Everything sounded so good! We settled for the golden bbq wings and classic pretzel bites for appetizers. The wings were great and that sauce was delicious! Wish we could find something similar in Seattle. The pretzel bites were good but we were already getting full. He got the Uncle Charlie burger which he liked but said it was a bit messy. He also said the maple sauce on it was unique and a little overpowering. I built my own burger and kept it simple with mayo, lettuce, grilled onions and cheddar. It was really good but I wish I didn't get so full on appetizers so I could finish it. I really liked the pickles that they served as a garnish. A little sweet and spicy action going on. Also the fries are hot and crispy and some of my favorite I've had anywhere. I wish this gem was in Seattle. It seems like a great place to grab a seat at the bar and watch sports on their televisions. They also have some tables available if you want to sit there too. I also liked that one of the tv's showed pictures of their specials. I wish I could go back and try some of their other items. The wraps and sandwiches looked really tasty and I love the uniqueness of some of their combos. If you're in the area and want some delicious food served with a friendly smile, stop in. You won't be disappointed.
