It's a clean, well kept, and well stocked hardware store that is good to have near the beach. The Deets: We had a chance to stop into Robinson's Hardware that's along the main road/causeway right before hitting the bridge to get to Holden Beach. This store was easy to spot from the road signage. We noticed that they have a Yeti sign and one of our group was wondering about some Yeti products, so we stopped in there while also on the hunt for some fishing supplies. This hardware store is pretty sizable while very bright and clean inside. We did find a lot of Yeti brand products here hoping we could find a deal but they offer them at the same or similar price than if you ordered online. But a great selection! We did look through their fishing equipment and although not finding exactly what we wanted in Yeti or fishing gear either one, this place was pretty impressive with inventory and plenty of selection of their hardware related items. We did not have direct interaction with any of the staff/owners on this trip. All in all, this place is a pretty nice/impressive hardware store convenient to Holden Beach and glad we stopped in.

My experances in the last year and a half it's been NOTHING but a disappointment. Many times I just left. The problem is their staff and there're old. Never finding any to help even thou I see many red vested workers. If things are going to be overprice which they are. There service sucks. The moments I need help workers make excuses that its not their department. In the past I've purchased paint that when I got home it was frozen at one point. Hard to believe that one. The paint itself was on the shaker for a couple of minutes so when I got home it was still not mixed. Other times the checkout machines were down and no-one knows anything. Half hearted apologys followed. Look I get it. It's an older community here and where else are they going to work? It truly is a awful place to go. Lastly the dog washing area is disgusting and nobody cleans it. We made the mistake of having our pooch bathed there a few times DIRTY every time. THAT is a review in itself. They'll last long enough to give my front entrance some color, and then I'll plant them in the backyard. Lowe's also carries large, 2-gallon watering cans for only $6. (Could not find any at Home Depot.) Recently, my husband and I were in the market to replace our 20-year old electric range. We shopped the Thanksgiving Day sales just about everywhere in town and online, and we found the best deals at Lowe's. Others must have figured that out as well, as the Lowe's appliance section was filled with buying customers on the Tuesday after the holiday. We waited about 15 minutes for assistance, and it was worth it to talk to an experienced associate. Looking forward to baking some treats in my new Frigidaire convection oven!
