This is a legitimate old school hardware shop with employees that have a wealth of knowledge and experience. You'd expect higher prices than sag Lowe's, but this isn't the case. I bought 10 gallons of roof paint and ended up not needing them. I'll admit I'm terrible with receipts and did not have one. I bought the paint on customer appreciation day ironically. So I knew the day I bought it. The could not look up my receipt I was told. Ok. I have a local bank record showing I bought it with date etc. No receipts, no return I was told. They gave me and anyone else thar day a discount and I was told the regular price was the same as the day I bought. I won't be shopping at Berrys Paint anymore, and I will encourage all my friends to patronize Sherwin Williams from here on out. No wonder home depot and Lowes put everyone outta business, they have a pretty good return policy. Over 200 bucks is no joke to just forfeit. One angry and dissatisfied customer. ps. I was worried then I would not be able to find the exact coat of paint because it was a beautiful shade of blue. All I had to do was to give the address and they found it in their system. That's cool....their ability to have a record of the type of paint you use just by looking up name and address is a great idea. Whenever I had gone to Lowes or Home Depot I always had the hardest time remembering what was the name of the coat of paint I had to use in the past and to get a close approximation I had to take a sample I scrapped from my wall. NEVER bring a modern variable speed pump motor that is a "electronically commutated motor" (ECM) to…read morethis company. ECMs are brushless DC motors now being used for energy efficient pool pumps. De Ruiter technicians have no knowledge of these and will test them in a way that destroys the motor. The windings in these motors can only be tested after disconnecting the control board otherwise the traditional testing with a megger connected to the power input terminal will give a false sign of grounded windings and will destroy the control board. De Ruiter tested my Century Vgreen motor by standard methods and the entire motor had to be replaced. I am out the cost of a very expensive pump motor.
