Dr Marcus is a D.O. and does not come with any advanced diplomas or certifications that you might expect a specialist in South Miami to have, altho she might have some. I will take Doctor Marcus's years and years of experience and professional interaction with the medical community over any blue blooded doctor at Baptist or U of M, because she cares, and the patient can feel confident she is giving the problem at hand her best. I am not putting down blue blooded highly credentialed doctors, only pointing out that many of them are conflicted, take kickbacks, are full of themselves, and dont really pay attention or care, especially if a patient is older. I was referred to Dr Marcus by a respected Cardiologist at a blue blooded Cardiac practice at South Miami Hospital. I feel thankful to have Doctor Marcus as my doctor, and see her as a team member, helping me stay healthy. The wait at Doctor Marcus office may be longer than I consider optimum, but when you need trusted medical advice, sometimes waiting is worthwhile, altho I will never like it. LOL
