Well, I just left Harbor freight off of Rosedale. The reason I shop at the store is because of their excellent warranty and return policies. It seems like every time I come to this particular harbor freight, the manager gives me a hard time about returning or exchanging my tool. This time I went in to exchange a $500 item I had purchased with the full warranty package. I brought it back IN THE BOX COMPLETELY UNOPENED and he gave me trouble at every turn. When he was going to ask me to purchase the warranty package again I decided I will have to make another trip another day to a different harbor freight branch. I will try to avoid this one in the future. read more

If you need tools and aren't about to spend top dollar on a luxe Dewalt set at HD, then head to Harbor Freight. There's about every kind of device you'd need. From hand tools and air compressors, to automotive tools and and large shop equipment. There's something for everybody. Harbor Freight does have great sales. There's often inserts in the local paper. So definitely check out those out of you're looking to save a few bucks. I'm not quite sold on the quality - but then again I'm not the primary user of many of these items purchased. On this occasion we were looking for a flame thrower/torch thingy (yeah, I know how to have a good time). For less than $30 we walked away with something that would have cost us twice that at the big box stores. The store itself is small and a little dated. There's tons of stuff on the shelves that look like they've been there for a while. Would it hurt to dust a little? read more

For a tool that you don't need more than a few times and don't want to spend big bucks. Harbor Freight is your place. Service is fast and friendly. Knowledgeable is questionable, hence the 4 stars. They are exactly what you expect. They are what Walmart is to Nordstrom's. You get what you pay for. If you sign up for their coupons in the mail and get discounts and free stuff. read more

Great resource. Friendly service! I went in for a ladder which I did not find but I got a great rechargeable drill and flashlight combo, hanging led lights and a basic bike rack. When the employee saw me carrying these items he went and got me a shopping cart and showed me the ladders that they did have. Then at checkout I did not have my percent off coupon so the cashier told me that I could go to any harbor freight with it within 60 days and get my refund. Update : When I went to another HF around 40 days later I found that you need to be within 30 days to apply the sale coupon. They helped me out anyway. All is well. read more

Love this store. Even though it does not have the selection of Home Depot, their prices are great. And when they have a sale...look out. It's like a mini jackpot with free stuff and deals for next to nothing. And finding an employee to help, is easy... unlike other stores. And the best thing... leashed dogs are allowed. My husband went to Harbor Freight today. An employee was helping another client. My husband couldn't help but notice that this employees pants were down below his rear end cheeks. He could see all of his underwear. This is so unprofessional to allow an employee to dress like this. Are there no standards? First time at there new store on White lane . Very clean and the parking lot is very accessible. As you enter you see all the tool . Like a kid in a candy store . Have all the tools as the one in Rosedale plus its not as busy. Have four check-stands and the checker was very friendly . read more

Harbor Freight is a good store for solid values on so many things. The tools sold here are good enough for most home projects or hobbyists. The other things they sell big wheel wagons animal traps, and thousands of other items are good too. It is probably a three star store, but the staff and value earn one more. read more

This is my husband's Disneyland! Hit them during a big sale or find a 20% off coupon and the value is gets even better. Tons of tools and equipment as well as some random stuff too. Sometimes the quality of the merchandise can be a little low, but for the price it's worth it. So just tried purchasing with our debit... my husbands didn't go through ... then they tried mine. Both declined! The cashier was not helpful at all! I came last weekend and bought a 18pc hex key set, price was right quality was also good, it is missing one of the hex key sizes. My weeks are super busy, so I checked Yelp and it say they are open and close at 9:00pm. I get here after driving across town (7:58pm) and the young lady that is standing out side a open door says " sorry we just closed and I have door open just to bring in carts".
