Unfortunately, that goodwill was not returned. We attempted to purchase a STIHL HTA 50 pole pruner that was clearly tagged on the product itself for $349.99. At checkout, the store refused to honor the posted price and then removed the tag when questioned about it. Mistakes happen, but customer service and accountability matter. Ironically, most major retailers would likely have honored the posted price without argument. Disappointing experience from a business we specifically chose to support because it was locally owned.

He helped me pick out what I needed. I asked where I could find pvc pipe. He pointed me in the right direction as Tony walked up. Tony took me to the exact area I needed then proceeded to locate the items I needed. He gave me great advice on which to buy. I can't say enough about all the employees in the store. These four young people did such a great job, that I asked Molly for the names of the others because they were all so caring and helpful I wanted to give them a review. She admitted she's new and doesn't know everyone. I was surprised because she was so professional and kind, I thought she was a long term employee. When I exited I ran into Angel. Tony was sweeping the leaves and dirt up in the parking lot. I asked her for the names of the people who had helped me. She told me and pointed to Tony and said he is always going above and beyond. I love great customer service. Floyd's must treat them well because they all seemed happy and helpful. The last time I was this happy with a hardware store, it was Osh. We came to this Home Depot intentionally so we can have breakfast at The Huevo House. We needed blinds for two of our rooms. We already knew what type of blinds we wanted so we went to the area where the blinds are and waited. We did have to track someone down but we didn't wait too long. When we finally did get someone to help us to cut the blinds down to size she was quick and kind. I have to mention the seasonal decorations. I can just come to Home Depot during Christmas and look, the decorations are adorable! I also have to mention the flowers and plants at Home Depot. The gardens are so beautiful and I love to walk around the garden section and just admire and maybe even get a new flower or succulent.
