Unfortunately, the haircut I received was not at all what I requested, despite showing reference photos. The cut was extremely choppy, with uneven layers throughout. It was the first haircut I've ever been truly unhappy with, and I am unable to even wear my hair down due to the unevenness and disconnect throughout the cut. I do want to recognize the salon owner for how they handled the situation. They were understanding, offered to have another stylist correct my haircut, and also refunded the cost of the service. I truly appreciate their professionalism and commitment to making things right. While I'm disappointed with the haircut I received from Ericka, I appreciate the owner's excellent customer service and willingness to stand behind their business. Although my first experience wasn't the one I had hoped for, I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future clients.

I came in kinda looking like a drowned rat. Meaning, my hair was wet dark and limp. My hair had been growing out for too long without a trim. TN was focused, amicable, and attentive. He kept my layers, which a lot of places could mess up. He started to do face framing bangs and I was like No! I like to keep the front long. He did some anyway, where I needed it, and followed direction to stop when I said No. And it turned into these cute wings around my face. While there, I kept twisting it, trying to get it to do its usual flounce, but it wouldn't go. I'm from California. He said he was, too. I think the Arizona dry air was making my hair dull. He told me to style it, like with product. I don't know what I'm doing. I brought my Kerastase Gloss Absolute products, bc I'd followed the Sephora sample directions. We didn't shampoo, so maybe I should try that next time. But idk, the shampoo area was kinda dirty. The place could be cleaner. Meanwhile, I just kept trying putting oil on it to make my hair move. I left feeling satisfied. Then later- wow- it's a really great haircut. Except now, with this haircut, I don't have to do anything to my hair. It just comes out nice. Everything lays perfectly. It's sexy hair. TN styled it right. I'd say for anyone in Arizona to YouTube what to do with your hair in the desert. As soon as my hair hit some humidity it looked gorgeous with this cut. I arrived on time for my 2pm appointment and was greeted by Thanh and seated immediately. I showed him the pictures again. Then he asked me if I wanted to shampoo my hair, which I agreed to. Then we got straight to work. At the end of my cut, he made sure I liked the result, to which I asked for my bangs a bit shorted and he readily obliged. I paid $45 (excluding an additional tip) in cash, but I didn't inquire further if they also accept card or if there's an additional fee for paying by card. I looked around the salon for a menu of costs of services, which he said there wasn't one. No problem, I plan on coming back for haircuts only anyway which I know are $45! Otherwise, I'll text him personally asking for other services if I want them! All in all, I was in and out the door at 2:00 and 2:30 respectively, literally (I looked at the clock). I was so happy with my haircut, especially for the price AND quick in/out time. Thank you Thanh for your amazing work!!!

OMG!! My hair was fried off!! So I was out of state for a while and had my hair done by a stylist that fried my hair, another one turned it green with toner!! My poor hair was a total mess and very unhappy as you can see from the pictures. I called Omar when I got back to AZ and he got me in right away. I've always had pretty light blonde hair, like almost forever and Omar never damaged it. But because of all the damage the other stylists created I needed a change. I showed Omar a few pictures of what I thought I wanted and within minutes he was mixing color and said, "I got you, trust me it's going to look beautiful", and he went to work! I thought I'd be there all day and I was in and out with a blow dry in less than 2 hours! Omar is extremely knowledgeable with color, color correction and is constantly keeping up with the newest trends and training. Even during these trying times of the pandemic he's fully stocked on products, seriously no joke when everyone was buying toilet paper he was buying product! His shop is always super clean and he takes pride in his work and that's why he has so many loyal clients. If you're looking for a great stylist he's your go to! I won't lie, I did a lot of research on different hair salons before I decided to go to Harb Hair. I wanted a place that had great customer service, wasn't too expensive, and provided great quality. After researching, I decided to trust Omar at Harb Hair to work on a balayage for the first time on my hair. I was extremely nervous because I didn't want my hair to be messed up. Omar did an amazing on my hair and I could not be happier with the end results. He is a great person to talk to about how to take care of your hair properly and literally about anything. I appreciate Omar for taking the time to work on my thick and long hair :) My new hair makes me feel confident and beautiful! My appointment was scheduled for 11-30-18 at 5:45pm. He never showed up (shop was closed even though the hours say he closes at 9pm), I waited outside for 15 min and left. Then Style Seat sent me a message asking if I would return I said no -- because this was the second time hes done this. Since then Omar has changed his reasons so many times that I had to contact the Style Seat admin department so I would stop receiving his jumbled rants that made no sense because I kept getting notifications. Leaving comments at 2AM, and texting my mother is not what I would call a professional. He said I was a bully, even though I never responded to his rants. He'll find a way to blame his customers even though it's completely his fault. Very unstable, good luck! read more

Omar was fantastic! I called about a half hour before I went in and he was able to fit me in, no problem. He did a major cut and color for me. He got me back to my barrels brown color!! He did exactly what I asked him to do and explained his process as he did it. He even styled it and explained to me how to give my body some life and volume, without me asking. I left the salon feeling confident that I could recreate the style that he did, because of how he walked me through how to do it! He was very professional, very kind, very courteous. I found Omar on Yelp and so glad I did. I originally went to him for a color correction and he was super helpful and accommodating. I had also been wanting to get hair extensions for a long time but I have super thin hair so never really thought it was possible without totally damaging what little hair I had. Lucky for me, Omar is certified in Great Lengths hair extensions! Omar is the man! He came in on his day off so he could be completely dedicated to putting in my hair. Omar is the BEST!!! I have blonde hair and I wanted to touch up my roots, he used OlAplex in the bleach and I can't believe how soft my hair is! I didn't have any breakage at all! Did a PERFECT highlight job! On 2.5 inches of hair!!!! I could see it took more effort but she did it without complaining or making me feel bad in any way. I'm so happy I did this. Feels so good to look in the mirror and like what you see. With 2.5 inches of hair I'm stuck with styling options but my color can be fun and attractive. Even if I'm not sure exactly sure what I want, she always has great recommendations, and my hair looks amazing. Her haircuts are so good my hair looks great even as it grows out. I'm glad I found a stylist I can depend upon to give me a great cut every time. i highly recommend her.

She washed, conditioned, trim and silk pressed... I LOVE IT..... The place was clean and peaceful and everyone was professional....Being from CHICAGO you are able to find Natural salons on every corner.... Let me start off with something nice. Caroline and Shari. (Owner) has done great styles for me. (See below) Now for the opportunities! Sharon, the owner is Unprofessional, lack of thoroughness, rude and dishonest. She does NOT value your time. She is ALWAYS late. Check out the picture below where after less than a week my hair began to unravel. Sharon said it was normal but I later found out it wasn't. Now, the final and last straw which not only resulted in this review but also I don't plan on ever going back. Sharon confirmed an appointment for me via text (proof below) and failed to show up! I had to take a day off work only to get stood up. Don't go here if you value your time and money because Twist & Stylez will not!
