Getting my hair done is always an experience. Very rarely do I get what I'm asking for but Daisia knocked it out of the park. From booking the appointment to walking out, 10/10 experience. Even the price felt reasonable. I knew from our initial conversation on the phone I would hit it off with her. She's friendly, listened to what I wanted, even brought color swatches which NO ONE has ever done before and even gave me a beautiful blowout. I mention the blowout b/c SO many people struggle with my curly hair and take the lazy way out. The front desk staff was also very friendly and I've never found a place to be a regular at but I'm happy to know I now have one. I'll definitely be rebooking with her from now on. She starts using thinning scissors and cuts all my hair. I have no idea why she did and used totally different techniques. This is the second time she couldn't do that right. Came here just before the new year and was in need of a hair fix as the last place I went too did not do me well. I didn't make an appointment, I walked in and I was greeted right away. It was a bit busy as i arrived before 4pm. I told the stylist exactly what I wanted and she listened very well. I decided to cut off all my colored hair on the bottom and get bangs and color my greys. I went in for some low lights to remove a little gray around my face before my daughter's wedding. The owner did my hair. He missed a spot around my temple and instead of correcting it, he just suggested that I part my hair on the other side to hide that area. After my third visit, everything went down hill. I spoke to the owner about the amount of hair I found in my bowl after he had done my color. He said he used a toner. Goldwell uses a glaze on the ends. He wanted me to come in for a treatment, I told I had my sister in law in the hospital I have to go to CA. What started me down this path was he the owner had to take his 20 yr. Old to a Dr. Appt?! I guess kids need their hands held at 20. the day I came in for my color. He said he was running behind, turned me over to a newbee, who was not experienced at all and I'm not paying $175 for someone who doesn't have all the training to be touching my hair! No excuses, his excuse was he was running behind, too much going on!! When I told him some of us work and what I was dealing with that I didn't have the time to come in for a treatment on my hair. His comment was, woah you've got way too much going on I'm your life! That's his reply for screwing up my hair! Oh really I should have walked the minute I saw he had too much going on! How dare you say that to a client! The gal he had working on my hair really hurt my head as she was trying to comb out the knots and tangles, used no heat protection on my hair before blow drying it out, no detangle hair mist, my hair looked like a complete mess when she was done, it was all I could do to not bitch someone out! Let's set the record straight, Jason you had too much going on to the point it left my ends so dried out it's not even funny, I'll probably end up having to cut 3" or 4" off my ends on my next visit, but it won't be here, I'll drive to Scottsdale if I have to, to get a great hairdresser. Do you think for one minute I'd go back to someone who f'd up my hair like this? Heck no! I've got baby fine hair, trying using your head to think that one through: I usually get my ends cut maybe three times a year. What a mess my hair is now.. I told him I didn't want my hair dried out as I had to go home and get ready for a meeting, I had shampoo and color behind my ears, in my ears, on neck? Is that a professional way to leave a client after washing out their color? So he could get the extra $$$ he refers himself as luxury hair salon?? Not even close! A salon that charges $175 for just color lets you leave the way you did? There's nothing luxurious about this place. What an embarrassment to walk out like that. Jason doesn't get that maybe some of his clients actual work for living. He has a long ways to go before I'd spend that kind of money ever again. My old hairdresser in CA is a master colorist and doesn't even charge that amount of money he's done many movie stars's hair. He was Liza Minnelli's hairstylist for years as well as many other stars. All I can says is when you screw my hair up, you made a huge mistake!! A gigantic mistake, especially when they tell me, you've got too much going on?? Oh really?? You screwed up my hair, not me! Well you little F! You had so much going on where you ran behind most of the day, so you best be careful before you insult your clients! You're the reason why I'm writing this review! I just had my second appointment with Tessla. She is wonderful. I was interested in a cut and color. On my first visit, she listened to my needs and helped me decide on a very complementary color and highlights. The coloring products she uses were gentle to my scalp and seem to last much better than what I have experienced in the past. Not sure who filled out Safety Measures section here but neither customers nor the staff wear masks (they were not wearing them during the peak of the pandemic either) and there is no social distancing happening. I sat side by side next to another customer. The person cutting my hair was talking to me about how she does not want to get the vaccine (which is her choice but I think an inappropriate conversation to have with a customer in a middle of a pandemic). If you want a place that takes precautions, this is not it. I can't say much about the haircut itself as I only went in for a trim. It is on the pricey side for sure. read more

I found my hair place! Back story about my hair: Like a lot of females with their hair, I'm super picky! When I find someone I like... I hang on to them. So much so that when I moved from Miami to San Diego I flew back to Miami every time to get my hair done because I didn't trust anyone else (have had a few bad experiences). Recently relocated to Phoenix. After 7 years and with COVID going on it's just not feasible to keep flying back to Miami and so I had to take my chances. And I'm so glad I did! After some hesitancy and reading many reviews I decided to book with Chloe. She is the best! After the first experience I knew she was my new go to girl. I've since been back again and the decision is solidified. She does exactly what I ask for. And my highlights came out so good! I like low maintenance and she definitely made that happen. My hair has since grown out and needs a touch up, but unless you look really closely you can't even tell, it just all blends in so naturally looking. She also gave me tons of really good tips regarding hair care and how to get my hair back to the healthy state it used to be.
