Ramon listened intently to what I had done in the past and what I needed. We discussed color shades and shaping. He explained what we would do, and I knew I was in good hands. Ramon's coloring and styling were picture perfect -- exactly the look I hoped for! But I told myself let's just get this done. All I wanted was a trim and my hair to be dyed a natural black. Because I'm beginning to go gray. So I felt like this should be an easy thing to do. I don't normally go to salons, I don't normally dye my hair. Two young girls (I wish I remembered their names) start just brushing black hair dye all over the place. It was getting over my forehead, cheek, ears neck. They put nothing on before hand to make sure it didn't stain my face. When I finally get my hair wash I agree to a condition treatment. I felt like I got nothing done, I just sat there for 5 minutes. Then she blew dried my hair, not using a brush. Then used a tiny flat iron to straighten my hair. That's when I see these girls dyed my side burns black! Each side burn, why would you do that? It's like I got a line up. I'm so embarrassed. I paid over 2 hundred dollars to be completely embarrassed I look like I have side burns. I regret going here, I wish I could take it all back. I also still have grays.

My experience with Jina is that she is very good with an elegant bob style with a fuller look, which is good for people who have thin hair. I made an appointment for November 19, 2024 and showed David additional photos on my phone of my desired look. At first I thought everything was going OK but after the highlights that he put in I was a little concerned that the lower half of my hair was much darker than the highlights he had placed at the crown. but considering he was the owner of the salon I put my trust in him and decided to see how everything would turn out. David then put toner onto my hair which initially looked light which made me feel that everything was OK but then the toner turned a dark, dark color... almost black. And all of the highlights that he had just placed in became horrible. On top of this I had stained dye all over my face and at no point did he use conditioner while rinsing /washing my hair and it became full of knots and as they combed it my hair was just coming out in handfuls. I literally could not take anymore and got out of my chair before any more of my hair was pulled out. I then went up to pay my bill although I was absolutely full of tears and upset. He then had no problem telling me that it would be $250 even though he knew I was upset and did not like what he had done. He gave me a small discount and I left as soon as I possibly could. Again, fully crying. I initially had blonde highlights in my hair and all I wanted was the crown touched up with new highlights and some low lights added in as a medium to golden brown. My hair is now a dark, dark blackish brown ash color. The color of my roots which I wanted to go away and at no point did I ever think he would make my hair look as bad as it does. I am at a complete loss of what to do. David absolutely ruined my hair and at no point did he offer to correct the situation.

I came in kinda looking like a drowned rat. Meaning, my hair was wet dark and limp. My hair had been growing out for too long without a trim. TN was focused, amicable, and attentive. He kept my layers, which a lot of places could mess up. He started to do face framing bangs and I was like No! I like to keep the front long. He did some anyway, where I needed it, and followed direction to stop when I said No. And it turned into these cute wings around my face. While there, I kept twisting it, trying to get it to do its usual flounce, but it wouldn't go. I'm from California. He said he was, too. I think the Arizona dry air was making my hair dull. He told me to style it, like with product. I don't know what I'm doing. I brought my Kerastase Gloss Absolute products, bc I'd followed the Sephora sample directions. We didn't shampoo, so maybe I should try that next time. But idk, the shampoo area was kinda dirty. The place could be cleaner. Meanwhile, I just kept trying putting oil on it to make my hair move. I left feeling satisfied. Then later- wow- it's a really great haircut. Except now, with this haircut, I don't have to do anything to my hair. It just comes out nice. Everything lays perfectly.
