He was slightly abusive to the customers and played games. When he started one item at $ 75 and it went up to about $100, said 'sold' and discovered someone had placed a proxy bid on it. and bought a partial lot. He reopened the bid for the remainder and someone bid $90, he then started the bid at $ 100, and then said 'passed' and went to the next. He clearly heard the bidder, I was right there. He also passed an item I was bidding on, yelled 'too late' as i raised my hand. I saw him pass on many items that bidders were interested in. He would start out bids at what he wanted, and quickly shout 'passed' . There is something wrong here, this is not really a standard auction but more like a retail store with an arrogant manager. I'll probably not be back. Crowds have been much lighter since Robert passed. This is no longer an 'auction house'
