First delivery and subsequent cleaning was nice with clothes well folded and vacuum sealed. The second delivery was not as nice, but acceptable. HOWEVER, the second laundry was charged the same as the first, but two days later at 10:30 PM I got another bill for more than twice the amount, which resulted in 3 times the charge. Tried calling, but office was closed even though their ad stated 24 hours. I'll be calling tomorrow when office is open. Got a hold of someone the next day and got a story about bag gallon size, something never started and about bags we were never given, which is in contrast to what we were told the first time. The first time, which was more laundry, had a set price and we paid it. No additional charges were added 2 days later. The second time ton delivery we caked them and was quoted the same price, which was fine. Then 3 days later at 10:30 PM we get a charge greater than the first two combined! DON'T trust them!!!! The only reason I'm giving this place two stars is because there was somebody in there who actually washed my clothes, folded them, and delivered them home to me. I used to use them because I didn't have a washer and dryer, and I worked all the time making every minute of free time really precious. They were also a different company at that time which became happy nest. I don't use them anymore. I have a washer dryer. It's been four years since the last time I use them. Yet every single day, without fail, I get a text from happy nest informing me that I owe them $10 ! The first time I got that text, four years ago, I didn't think too much about it and I promptly sent them $10... Maybe because I'm an idiot. Still, every single day for four years, four entire years, 365 days X 4=1460, I get a text from them informing me that I owe them $10. I have no choice but to decide that happy nest is a scam. Don't use these guys, it's a micro transactions scam based on a lie. Makes me wonder how well they pay the people that actually do the laundry. read more

My daughter grabbed 4 of my beautiful Anthropologie curtains with washable Crayola fingerpaint on her hands (it happens), so I sent the curtains to Laundry Room Express. The curtains shrunk severely and were returned to me SEVEN INCHES SHORTER than when I sent them in ($600 worth of curtains and they no longer reach the floor). I immediately sent a text message to the company reporting this and never received a response. A few weeks later, I emailed the company and they offered to let the curtains out. I was hopeful that this would return my beautiful curtains to a functional state, but they only let them out 4 inches. The curtains still don't reach the floor and they look ridiculous in my windows. And, after this second trip, the curtains now have a huge dark brown stain that was not there before I sent them back the second time. I think they may have been burned when they were ironed. And - to be clear - the washable Crayola fingerpaint is still on the curtains. I am baffled and I wish I had just hand-washed these when I had the chance. Now, I have to replace all 6 curtains in my apartment - something I cannot afford to do. I don't like to write reviews like this, but the company hasn't managed to fix this after many emails and phone calls. I've been using this service since it was Laundry Room Express. At that time, they were fabulous. Since the takeover, EVERYTHING, has gone downhill and downhill FAST. It began with zero notification of the changeover. None. Not EVEN a text. So little communication that their entire customer base whom rely on reminder texts were NOT notified with any texts AT ALL. Nor, were we given the "driver will be there in 15 mins so you better get your shit in the bag and out that door so you don't have to see him now!!" So.... THEY JUST CAME KNOCKING! In a new fkn van, wearing new clothes and who remembers their faces?!!! This happened for weeks!!! Then the clothes come back fkn folded wrong. Not once. Not twice. But now mom getting other peoples shit!!!! Whose getting my shit? Who's got my panties?! I don't want these panties?!! And for fks sake. I send my stuff out. Pay for it. So they can get the hair off. Not so it can return with all clean hair!!!!! This batch was the worst of all. Every tank is folded a different way and placed in between other shit. Same with the jeans. It's ridiculous. They ask you how you want your shit folded. Then laugh. Say. Okay. Cmon. Let's. Split up everything. And you do you!!!! I had some major issues with the laundry that was returned to me today. As a first time customer, I emailed regarding the possibility of sending my own detergent and was told that it was not a problem. I put in the special notes that I sent my own detergent as my children have severe eczema and allergies. Either my detergent was not used or dryer sheets were used, which I selected "no" to, as my clothes came back with a scent. Additionally, the pillowcase I sent the laundry in was not returned. Clothes were also wrinkled, not sorted as requested, folded several different ways, and the socks rolled instead of folded, as requested. I now have to rewash and fold all the clothes. This is extremely disappointing and absolutely not acceptable for a professional laundry service. I would give zero stars if possible. I reached out and was told they would open an investigation with the facility manager to see how they could resolve the problem. Currently waiting to hear back as they said they cannot issue a refund without talking to the facility manager first. read more

The pickup and delivery is super convenient. Used this service for almost a month, but it's time to end the relationship. The clothes get clean, but don't smell fresh and seem kind of stiff. We used this service for well over a year and unfortunately too many clothes were shrunk. Customer service was helpful at first with putting a system in place of which items should not be dried. Unfortunately, the staff did not follow the instructions and we needed to cancel the service due to too many items being ruined. After a long wait time to get my laundry picked up (no one answers the phone number, ever) and a drop-off that happened way after the estimate, my clothes were THISCLOSE to getting dropped off at the wrong house. Like, a whole block away. Luckily I picked up when the driver called a second time. Otherwise 30 pounds of clothes could have been lost forever. Inside the bag, items had been nicely washed and folded. But stuff that was supposed to be air-dried had been, er, dryer-dried. Instructions (and hey, my address) were all clear. The owner Jon is super friendly and has obviously been in customer service for a long time. I can tell because he enjoys doing business with clients. He will not rush you off the phone or say he's too busy for your business. In fact, he was able to send a driver to pickup my laundry, wash/dry/fold it, and deliver it back to my apartment on the 3rd floor...in 24 hours (from a Thursday-Friday). I didn't ask for next day service, but that's what they did for me. Amo is one of the Laundry Room Express drivers. He was very courteous and professional. He also helped me load all my laundry from the hamper into bags. There's a great 1st time customer bag they give you that has a giant nylon bag for laundry as well as a medium sized bag (different color) for dry cleaning. I am healing from a hip surgery that I had 5 weeks ago, so these guys literally SAVED me from injuring myself. There's no way I could do 33 pounds of laundry in my current state. The LRE takes good care of me and I know I am saving hours of my life every week that I could be spending doing the things that I am good at. Because Laundry for sure isn't one of them. Its a The owner takes care of the customers and has a really cool system that Makes it so I don't even have to think about the laundry. I just gotta wear the clothes. Recently I had some injuries and couldn't do my laundry. I needed laundry pickup and delivery service and searched on internet and found The Laundry Room Express service. I scheduled a pickup using their website and they showed up so on the time. There is an area on their website to specify how you prefer the laundry to be done and I loved that. For the first time, I gave my sheets, towels and blancket for wash. The pickup person was extremely friendly and asked me the time to deliver them the next day. I couldn't believe it was that easy. When I recieved my sheets and towels, I was so surprised at how professionally they were washed and folded. The blanket smelled really good, too. I last used this service in March 2018, my bill was 91.80 and had a 25.00usd credit on my account, that was given to me by the office customer service. This was given , due to a prior service, clothes delivered wet on hangers and covered with plastic bags. In addition , I never advised that the sweat tops were wet, only checked when I realized that the sheets were still dirty, so then I checked other items. The point is, they never applied the 25.00usd to my bill, and when I e-mailed regarding the issue , I was sent emailed back a barrage of insults and totally unprofessional replies (much like a backyard brawl), naturally , I was quite surprised. Only when a representative ,that I have always spoken with (can't remember her name), she returned my call, and advised that the credit was on there , given I believe by a Katy, and just that they did not apply it. That's another thing you have no access to anything on your account other than the invoice they charge you. Anyway, the lady that called,I must say, she was very professional and customer service oriented, actually she has always been that way and polite, I advised her that I no longer want any dealings with that company and delete my information. However, there were also other issues prior to the incident described above,they placed my sweater in the dryer (a new sweater , first wash)....and it shrunk ,.....another incident overcharged me for a load,it was much less clothes and cost higher than the highest I have ever paid..therefore I queried, and I must say, they did apologise and adjusted the price to show the correct charge. Bottomline, the rude unprofessional response I received, because I enquired about a credit due to me, that was not given on a service, was absolutely ghastly horrible.The worst laundry service , I have dealt with..The Laundryroom Express.... downright dishonest!. read more
