If you need to buy a hanbok, this is the store for it…read more I went there with my soon-to-be husband a couple months ago. The hanbok-orderer Mrs. Han was not there that day, so Edward assisted us. He was very attentive, friendly and patient as we looked through the mulitple hanbok designers' books he gave us to view. We found several beautiful hanboks. Edward invited us to return to the store at a time when Mrs. Han would be available. A month later, we set an appointment time for my soon-to-be-mother-in-law and me to meet with Mrs. Han. Mrs. Han was very helpful in suggesting which hanboks would best suit my body-type (longer jeogori and lower pleats). Anyone knowledgable about Korean clothing knows that a hanbok intended for a slender Korean girl doesn't exactly fit a white girl's curvacious body in the same way. I am very grateful for her knowledge and assistance. She took my measurements and ordered my hanbok. It takes approximately 4 weeks to be delivered from Korea. Once it arrives, I will post a follow up here. Additionally, they sell high-end men's wear (mostly suits), as well as women's blouses, knitwear, suit-jackets and a few dress-coats.

We've shopped at this outlet store on and off over the 13 years we have been in this area…read more Unfortunately, this first review of the store will also be my last as I learned today that this store along with all Eddie Bauer stores across the country will be closing due to bankruptcy. I hadn't heard and was totally surprised during our random drop-in, but the bankruptcy filing was just announced publicly yesterday apparently. The employees learned last week. This store will stay open until the end of March I was told. Honestly, I'm not surprised and thought bankruptcy would have or could have happened over a decade ago. Their merchandise has always been quite overpriced in my opinion, but their frequent big promotions often brought their goods more in line and that's about the only time we ever bought anything. Their quality has always been top notch though. I remember their big retail store in downtown Naperville downsized in about 2010 and I thought that was the beginning of the end, but the chain obviously hung on for quite a while longer. Anyway, the wife and I each made a final purchase today of winter jackets that were marked down an additional 60%. Good luck to the staffers, who have all been fine to us, and thank you Eddie Bauer for being a quality clothing provider to us over the years.

I know, there's a Sephora…read moreinside Target too, but I wanted to see if this was bigger and I did need to pick up some things. Are these Sephora employees working at Kohls or are these Kohl employees working at Sephora? Several areas there were low inventory, out of stock. I was disappointed that my brands didn't have the product I was looking for. There wasn't all of the perfumes I wanted to sample. This is a scaled down Sephora so I should lower my expectations. I will go to the Sephora at the mall next time.

Today was the second time I was in this store. I wanted a cotton white button down and based on my…read moreonline search, it seemed Land End may have the shirts I wanted. No one greeted me, no one acknowledged my existence for 15-20 min after I was wandering the store. It's funny because there were A LOT of employees working. Most were just standing around either doing nothing or chatting amongst each other. One of the employees actually said they need to figure out how to get more people to the store. More people in your store won't do anything if your staff doesn't offer to help your in store customers. I asked 2 people for help and neither were helpful. I tried to ask someone if all the sizes were out and with her back turned to me, she barely muttered yes. I would have placed an online order, but decided not to based on my store experience today. Not coming back.

Happy Returns decided that my order was a gift, and so would not allow me to get my money back, only a store credit. (Hello in there - even if it's a gift, if it doesn't fit, someone (the person who paid for it) should be able to get their money back.) Hmm. I call the customer service number. Rep says there's a discrepancy between my billing address and shipping address. I ask what the difference is. My name on one is Margaret M, and just Margaret on the other. My street on one is XXX Ave, and just XXX on the other. It's a pretty stupid system that can't figure out that the bill-to and the ship-to are the same person. Rep tries to start a return, and can only send a UPS label. I've read horror stories about that online, and so I hold on to the items until I can get to a store. I go to the store. No signage indicates that online returns are done at a little desk in the back of the store, but no problem, someone came up and told me where I had to go. Clerk lady tries to start a return, but can't do it, says it has to be sent to Dodgeville. I have to agree to this, there's nothing else she can do. I give her credit, though, she did try to help me. This is way too much to go through to return things. I've been a Lands' End customer, off and on, since the '80s, but no more.
